I like this place a lot, since their food simple but tasty. Their regular burgers are huge and the mini ones won’t lack any taste of the regular ones. Their food always fresh. They got some food new on menu, I love the chili fries! If you come to the park for jogging and work out hard, before you left the park you really should grab some food here!

This is my favorite fast food restaurant around the area. Every time I come here I must stop by for burger and garlic fried. Yes garlic fried and it tastes the same as stadium one. Not only the food is good but huge. My favorite is the fish burger and mushroom burger. The burger size is so large that you can share with your the other half.

We use to like this place but in my opinion — yesterday was the worse experience we have had. Yesterday we were in the area and I thought we would take our Grandkids to show them the place. NOTE — When the Grandkids start talking about the service — something is bad.(all under 10) First of all the lady at the front counter had no greeting, no personality and could care less what we ordered. You may as well get one of the Robots to replace her — probably would be an improvement. Our order took almost 30 minutes to fill and then it was wrong. While we waited, a table on the deck opened up so my family moved to it. I looked up and my granddaughter is trying to get back in — all the doors are locked to let you get back in — great planning — anyone on the deck had to knock until someone inside got up and let them in. I mentioned this to the counter drone and she said,“the deck is not open”. Huh — all the tables on the deck were full but it is not open– really. I finally had to get the manager — who had to come out ever 5 minutes or so to help the counter drone — to put a chair in front of the deck door. Really no key. None of the kids liked their meal. The fries were all cold. The cheese sandwich was dry and slightly warm. My hamburger dip was at best OK — AFTER — I had to get the manager to provide the dip for it. Too many other choices around then to eat here. The only one who seemed to care was the woman who kept coming out toe help the counter drone.

Love me some Kidd Valley! I haven’t had much else on the menu, but what I’ve had I love! The fish & chips are awesome. .. cornmeal batter(my favorite) on the fish and very good fries. Additionally, their garlic fries are heavenly. .. french fries with minced garlic piled on. .. wonderful! Good onion rings. The best fish & chips in the east sound! Marching to the beat of a different kettle of fish!

Today was crazy busy. Like, barely any room to stand busy. I overheard food was taking about 30 – 40 minutes to come out. But I wanted my mushrooms, so I waited. Everyone was right, a little over 30 minutes for my food. I just wanted to praise the employees for how hard they worked and how positive they remained throughout the rush. People were rolling their eyes, constantly asking how long it would be, and tapping their toes. The employees kept a smile on their face and got things out as quick as they could. I wouldn’t say they were understaffed, just unprepared — nobody really expects a beautiful day in February! Love this place. Will continue to visit very often :)

Good food, good location(near Lake Washington) and the onion rings are really great. I prefer Kidd Valley over most burger places. You get what you pay for.

Handy place to have around the park. We were walking around and spotted this at around lunch time so it was perfect timing. I didn’t know a Kidd Valley was even here and it had been awhile since going to one so I was happy to check it out. I was pretty hungry after walking around all morning so I opt’ed for the double bacon cheeseburger and of course garlic fries. The burger came out really good and fresh, it was pretty big too so that was nice. what really made the meal was the garlic fries. it was nice to get them without having to go to Safeco and these were pretty close to the original. This one was nice inside and clean l. We received good service and our food came out fast. No complaints at all.

Standard fast food fare for kids and the adults that are eating with them — burgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, shakes. It is pretty casual and the dock is great. Nothing special except for location.

FOOD — Cheeseburger and double cheeseburger were good but I especially liked being able to order GARLICFRIES with it! I love garlic: D The vanilla milkshake was good too! All together it cost us about $ 18. RESTAURANT — very casual inside with some hydroplane décor, lots of tables in covered areas outside to also enjoy your meal! SERVICE — The girls working there were great! Super friendly and energetic. They seemed like they were all friends who got along well which kind of poured over into the way they spoke with their customers. Surprising considering I don’t see this at many fast food places. PARKING — There’s a lot at the park but it can get full on a nice day as their are a ton of visitors. Otherwise, park at a farther walk and take a leisurely stroll on over! RESTROOMS — Outside but part of the Kidd Valley Building

Coulon Park in Renton provides a little for everyone, and one of those is a Kidd Valley location. Nestled against Lake Washington it has a prime location for those looking to grab a burger, fries, and a shake and sit by the lake watching joggers run by and boaters sail in the water. On a sunny day, or any weekend day during the summer Kidd Valley is a popular, popular place. The line can easily grow to ten people deep in a matter of seconds, so patience is a key element if you decide to swing by in the summer. Keeping that in mind, it isn’t the largest location. The staff is busy flipping burgers, making shakes, and taking orders. They never have enough time on a busy day to wipe down tables and clean up after people who can’t bother to walk the seven feet to the garbage can. It can get pretty filthy as quick as their lines can grow. But honestly, if it is a sunny day why are you sitting inside anyhow? Go outside, and sit along one of the many tables underneath the pavilion or along the path. Just don’t feed the ducks or they will swarm. The food is all right. A quarter pound cheeseburger truthfully is a good size for anyone, but having been spoiled by Red Robin portions I find it somewhat lacking. It isn’t Kidd Valley’s fault that they still serve standard sizes. Their shakes are delicious and truthfully it is their best feature. Go for the shake and then walk the shake off around the lake a few times.

Didn’t know what I wanted for lunch but a burger sounded good. I work 5 mins from here so it made sense just as long as I didn’t have to mess with the landing on a Friday. BLECH. It was pretty busy with the kids being out of school, people that do not work on Friday’s and it being a semi nice day on the water. They move at a snails pace here but the food doesn’t seem to be precooked so this is to be expected. The girl working the register was pleasant and kept a smile on her face the whole time even though it was busy. Prices are a bit high but if you go with the mini meal, it is better. Shakes are thick and tasty. Burgers, I think that you can get better elsewhere. Nothing really stands out about them. Fry’s are typical food service of america frys and lacked salt. Needless to say, I am beyond full and uncomfortable with everything I just ate.

So, I don’t go to many Kidd Valleys so can’t really rate this in comparison to other Kidd Valley locations. I like this spot because it is a convenient location, and their banana milkshakes are the bomb. The surroundings are also spectacular, being right in the heart of Coulon Park. Given this, parking is sometimes challenging. I’ve found their garlic fries to be hit and miss(sometimes too soggy), but the one time I tried onion rings, I really liked them. Their burgers yaknow, are the same as any Kidd Valley burger — slightly better than the true fast food drive through chains but not as good as Five Guys. The last time I was here, the service was awesome. The gal behind the counter really went out of her way to be friendly and helpful, so I appreciated that.

Seven bucks for a flat, flavorless cheeseburger, generic fries, and a soda delivered by an indifferent employee? In & Out please take us away.

Fast food? The irony hurts like a case of bad heartburn. My mom has always been an aficionado of Kidd Valley shakes so I said to myself, hey why not give their food a shot? Well, I guess this review is the answer to my question. I walked into the restaurant(for lack of a better word) fully aware that it was a gorgeous Sunday, let alone Seafair weekend, but I guess whoever made the schedule this week was not. They had three girls standing around the lone cash register while one fry cook manned the entire kitchen. I soon figured out that what appeared to be the line to order was in fact just a crowd of people waiting for their food. After placing an order for a «club sandwich» I kept myself busy by counting all of the sure-to-be health code violations that surrounded me. After my name was called, I grabbed the grub, and I rushed out into the sunshine. As I walked down the steps to a table I found myself desperately hoping my meal was worth the wait. Tough luck. It is difficult for me to fathom how it took a good 20 minutes to slap a piece of chicken and oily Swiss on a bun. I ate a fry and tossed the rest. For a split second I considered feeding them to the birds, but I’m not big on animal cruelty.

Well its a fun location since its on a dock. I got a basic Cheeseburger Combo. There are a lot of fries which is nice considering that’s my favorite part of the meal. My cheeseburger was kinda greasy and that upset my stomach which is why I only gave them 3 stars. Also the food is a little expensive which is also the reason for 3 stars.

The only cool think about this place is that there is boat access. I don’t really know what else to say. It’s priced a bit high for what it is. The service is meh…

We went here because it was right by the lake. We ordered some fried onion rings/mushroom sampler, bacon burger w/cheese and strawberry shake. The sampler was super greasy and the bacon burger tasted… like a regular burger — um nothing special and for that price though, we should’ve went to jack in the box and got a combo. Oh yeah somebody needs to tell the staff to clean the ceiling at the eating area because i see spider webs everywhere. eeek.

When the outside of the restaurant is the best part, you know you’ve got issues! Super greasy food priced at the standard of MUCH better«non-fastfood» establishments. The service was extremely slow, to the point that I left and cam back with both of my kids in tote… only to find that I was still waiting for food. If you like to be disappointed, then Kid Valley, Renton is the place for you! YUCK!
