Pizza and beer, what a timeless classic! I met a friend for a mid-week lunch here and was happy that he picked somewhere I hadn’t been yet but wanted to try. The place was pretty dead, so no shortage of tables to choose from and our server pretty much just had us to pay attention to. We both ordered a slice of pizza and a couple of beers. At first I wasn’t totally convinced that a slice of pizza was going to get rid of any sort of hunger that I had. I was really happy that all of their pizzas could be ordered by the slice, not just the basics and a select few of the combinations. Their combinations all sounded awesome, but I ultimately decided on the Californian — tomato sauce, buffalo sauce, mozzarella, chicken, corn, pineapple, and their«secret spice». When our pizza came out I was actually really happy to see that«a slice» is actually equal to 2 slices. And not like skimpy little slices, full sized slices! So glad that I didn’t order more than«a slice». My pizza was awesome — the«secret spice» is kind of spicy but I couldn’t quite identify all of the flavors in it. Everything worked really well together, even though it all sounds a little odd. I found that dipping the crust in honey didn’t work for this pizza(or maybe I’m just that not big of fan of it), I stuck with ranch for my crust. I’m a huge fan of unique pizza combinations, so Wild Garlic is a winner in my book! A decent price for a good amount of food doesn’t hurt either. Now if only they’d deliver to my house…

What’s not to like. Original pizzas that include garlic are hard to beat. Usually order take out from here but have dined in a few times. Good beer selection and the garlic knots are to die for. Definitely stop in and give it a try. Pro tip: you can never go wrong with ranch on these pizzas.
