This place is such a toss up to me. For one, I really enjoyed the hookah, the selection of beers on tap, and the bartender. He was the only person working(other than the doorman) and the place was considerably busy. He handled the pressure of getting everyone’s hookah set up and beers served at the bar with grace, he was also incredibly nice. The downside is that the place is a little outdated for competing bars nearby. Also, the music is so loud here you can barely hear the person sitting across from you. We could barely hear the bartender explaining the hookah rules. Overall I would come here again because the service was great and the beer was even better, but I hope they turn the music down just a little in the future!

Came here with my bros, had some great beers, great hookah flavors. Played some pool, had trouble with a ball getting stuck but the bartender Cole was very helpful and got it out. He had a great sense of urgency and always made sure we had a beer in our hands. Over all a great bar. Will be coming here more often!

The service and hookah were horrible. The guy was very rude and didn’t know how to make a sex on the beach. When we asked him to make a new one he started arguing with us that he drinks more and knows how sex on the beach taste. If you love smoking hookah I would suggest not to come here. They need to upgrade the hookahs and pipes at this place. Again, if you love to smoke good hookah this isn’t the place for you. Worse customer service ever.

Great bar with friendly bar tenders. Every time I go there they remember me and poor me an extra stiff drink. The bar is nice and open so it doesn’t feel closterphoebic and they have other things like pool tables and beer pong.

The most Unprofessional and rude owner/bar tender I have ever seen. Went out there for some hookah with my female friend. One restroom for men and one for women, my friend just took a tad longer then usual… about 10mins or so. Which is pretty common at any night clubs or bars for women. The owner who is a male decided to crack open the door while she was in the restroom. He never knocked, or even if he did it was not clearly heard in all that noise. He even says he looked under the door and didn’t see any feet/leg assuming that no one was there. Obviously he did not he just unlocked and opened the door. My friend was shocked and felt humiliated. Then he had balls to come and tel us that you took way long and he had to open. He even called a so called«witness» a female to say he checked but then he handed her a drink at the bar for free no doubt. I wish I had read reviews cos this place is not even worth half a star! Other reviews mentions about sexual harassment of female customers by bouncers who instigated fight with the bf when he complained. This is just a pure pile of shyt place! Highly NOGO!!! Only question I had was, why couldn’t a female employee open the door. The answer i received was you couldn’t do it. That’s absurd, any club or bar with female employees would have done that. So any excuse you make does not justify it. I’m sorry!

Great place to chill have a drink and smoke good hookah. Everything from the art on the walls to the décor to the pool tables beer pong darts shuffle board games to the staff service and drinks and music is hella cool. Our hookah girl was a real sweetheart, the bartender was cool and made some damn good AMF’s, the door man was nice and not like other bouncers some other places. My new favorite spot to kick back while in Reno.

Monday night. Hanging out with a friend out of town. He wanted to come smoke hookah and found this place. Pros: great looking place, Atm, pool tables, darts and a beer pong table! and so many beers on tap! Cons: serves was bad. The bartender/hookah prep guy. Was just eating the whole time. Didn’t even brother asking us how was it. Need a refill. Nothing. so we called him and ask to close out. And the Hookah taste like chocolate. And didn’t even order that. Hookah needs to be clean? The guy didn’t even bother saying thanks guys for coming no bye. Nothing… like we weren’t even there. Only gave an extra star because the place looks amazing.

Waterfall just expanded, and now it seems like an entirely different bar. Funny how that happens. From the street, it looks like a tiny dive bar, but people(mostly tourists) can’t see that there’s a sizeable lounge around the back corner where people smoke the hookah. Now, they took down a wall and expanded, so you can see from the street just how large it is on top of the new space formerly next door. There are now two pool tables in back and a lounge on the left side and the same bar on the right side. And for those who don’t know what hookah is, don’t worry, you won’t really smell it. It’s definitely not like cigars and there’s significantly less smoke and barely any smell. If any smell, you’ll get fruity and stuff. The bar has a nice stock of beers on tap, although they ditched their wonderfully cheesy and cheap Busch beer. They used to have Natural Ice. I asked the bartender, «What happend to your Busch.» He gave me a funny look. «I shave it.» «No, I mean on tap.» None-the-less, they have other options, many indies including a flavorful Mama’s Little Yella Pils. Without a wall behind me, it just felt so much more mellow and open and free, you know the difference between boxers and briefs. I just felt more relaxed in the new, larger space, or was I browned out? It was so late, they yelled last call. They have a juke box too if you don’t like their background music. I’ll definitely hit this place more. I’m telling bar owners, women don’t like back rooms or rooms around a corner and they like big windows. Red Rock has a whole room downstairs, but I figure, you’re not going to find a bunch of women lounging around down there. This is no longer the bar I pass between the casinos and the bars on Arlington. A very nice improvement that really changes the whole vibe.

The Waterfall in Reno. I’ve never been to a place quite like this — a decent bar, a waterfall in the middle — with grandmas left over furniture in the room next door; and yes folks, you can get hookah too. It’s probably not a place I’d hang out all the time — but a chill spot, on a night where you just want a relaxing spot for a drink.

So I tried coming back. BIGMISTAKE. So, I decided to get cocktails and do hookah. The hookah server said that we couldn’t do that all on one bill, so we had two bills. This is fine. However, I paid her cash for the hookah, then I go to the bar to pay for my drinks, and two Tokyo Teas come up to be $ 40? The bartender said the hookah and drinks were all on one tab. The girl said that I never gave her money, so she basically pocketed the cash while I was double charged. Why are all the workers over here so shady?

Oh The Waterfall! This place has been boasting a big ass selection of craft beers from the day they opened their doors. 24 on tap to be exact, along with a full bar and hookah service. It’s one of the few hookah bars in town! Many a fun night have been spent lounging on the pleather couches that line the walls of this place, huddled around the low tables sipping craft beers and occasionally enjoying a hookah with friends. On the particular night I was in, I bumped into an old friend, which made for some colorful conversation, and another friend, Magic Meitz, was on the floor doing up close magic and card tricks with the entire room! His talents always amaze and having seen him perform a number of times, I was happy to have some new friends see his act. I tried Tahoe Mountain Brewing Company’s Ranch Dog, a hoppy amber beer with a 7% ABV. Delicious and a freaking great way to wind down a friday! All said and done, 5 beers later between a friend and I, and I was out the door for just more than $ 30 including a tip. That’s a deal for craft brews in my book and a fun night for all. If you’re headed for night out downtown, grab some friends and hit Waterfall on a Friday night, choose one of the awesome beers on tap and Tell Justin, aka Magic Meitz, Michael T sent you. You’re guaranteed to have a great time!

The doorman was rude. I showed him my id and told him i was 24. He rejected me because it was a month before my 24th bday and he thought i was lying. He was clearly too drunk with illogical words. I explained to him a month did not make a difference. He assaulted me he was going to call the police and escorted me out. I was like okat i would try another place. The other hookar bar called ‘hoohare’ had way more nice servants.

Came here for the beer crawl and then the hookah. Bartenders started off a little cocky, kind of blank stare like. The guy collecting money and giving out glasses(i think he may be the owner/manager) was definitely not friendly throughout the entire process and even during and after the raffle. The hookah girl was nice… but she didnt tend to our hookah as much as she should have. They stream a non-paid version of Pandora, so hopefully you like listening to commercials. Its all good though… I would go back.

Chocolate Syrup Whether you’re into billiards and beer pong, lounging on a comfy couch with a cocktail and a hookah, or diverse and affordable drink specials, The Waterfall is the spot.
