Sugar Love Chocolates

I asked my boyfriend to bring me a sample of chocolates today after his haircut next door… Your chocolates are so wonderful! I especially liked the one with coconut! I also love your chocolate to center ratio and beautiful detail prints on top. Makes a girl feel special! Kudos to my boyfriend who bought them and kudos to your skills with chocolate making! I will definitely be in to buy a bigger sample! ;-)

These chocolates are amazing with great flavors that are creative and absolutely incorporate only top quality ingredients. On top of that, they are each a work of art. If you need a hostess gift, thank you gift, don’t know what to send someone gift, corporate gift… really any kind of gift these should be your «go to» gift. Beautifully packaged so they ship well and show up looking and tasting as good as they do from the store.

Love, love LOVE Sugar Love. This place is located in the basement of the historic post office building downtown. We decided to stop in and check out the basement since there has been some buzz on it recently and I am always up for a new adventure. There are only a few businesses open down there so hopefully they will get some more. The vibe is kind of cool and it seems like it would be a great place to spend some time wandering around.
In the meantime, it is worth a visit to the basement to get these chocolates. The selection is not huge but what is there is very high quality. I appreciated that the owner was there and she spent some time answering our questions about where she gets the chocolate and what the different options are in the case. We ended up getting some Earl Grey truffles, Scotch truffles (made with real scotch and had a great smoky peat flavor), salted caramel chocolate and a few others. They run about 1.00 to 1.50 each and are well worth it. I am sorry to say they did not make it to our dinner table because we ate all of them within a few hours of getting home that afternoon. There is plenty of parking nearby and the basement is easily accessible from the outside of the building so show this place some LOVE the next time you are downtown.

She has a nice selection of about 15 various flavors of «truffle» chocolates. Most were a dark chocolate coating that I prefer. Very soft centers with unique flavorings. Half had cute decorative designs on top.
I can’t remember the pricing structure since my son bought them for my Valentine gift.

Amazing! The shop is super cute and the chocolates are to die for! I loved the Earl Grey and Mocha Truffles I bought. I also bought a few more manly ones for my hubby for v-​day! Go in and check this place out. Very high quality and I love supporting local businesses!

These chocolates are INCREDIBLE. I just picked up a box of 15 assorted and can’t believe how delicious each flavor is. Really high quality chocolate, and the fillings are smooth and decadent. I’ll definitely stop by and get my sugar love fix whenever I’m in the area!

Sugar Love is one of those great little places that you hear about from a friend of a friend. It’s downtown in the old post office, which just adds to the magic. The chocolates are amazing — seriously, the best truffles I’ve ever had. The bananas foster truffle slayed me. As you eat it, each layer of flavor just unfolds. The proprietor, Krysta, is 100% enthusiastic about her craft, and it shows. Her chocolates are the perfect balance of sweet and savory. It’s a must visit in Reno.

This is such a cute and tasty little place. The chocolates’ flavors range from traditional to unique pairings I have never tasted before. I have to say, I have never had a bad chocolate at Sugar Love. The designs on the chocolates are so intricate and adorable. The owner, Krysta, clearly has a knack for both design and flavor, and is super sweet herself. You can order off the website and get some chocolates shipped to anywhere in the country. Special care is taken to make sure the chocolates don’t melt in transit. The types of chocolates are always changing, so be sure to keep dropping in to see what’s new.
