Roadway Inn Reno

I would give less than 1 star if possible. Our room was broken into and when I told the front desk they argued with
me and said it was not. They would not even look at room. Then when I checked out they upped the rate on me. The day after I checked out they charged me for another night. Room had tons of bugs and was run down save yourself money and the headache and stay elsewhere maybe on Nevada side. Encourage others to stay elsewhere too. Worst hotel stay ever!!!

I cannot believe that I stayed in this pit of a hotel. I booked through
but failed to read the reviews posted there. I was in a hurry and will never make this mistake again.
The receptionist was sullen and nasty, the elevator smelled like disinfectant soaked urine and the room looked like it had been left in the 1970’s. The bathroom faucet ran all the time (we tried to turn it off but it wouldn’t budge). The air conditioner ran well but sounded like a 747 was landing in the bedroom every time it came on.
The bed was about 12 inches off the floor, pillows were about 2 inches thick, and the lamps did not light (bulbs out). When we asked if we could borrow a hair dryer, the guy at the desk said they had none because they had all been stolen. There was a coffee maker in the room but there was no way I was going to drink anything that came out of it.
The parking lot was filled to overflowing with many of the exits blocked due to the number of cars parked in the way. Very scary looking people were outside nearly all night drinking and making tons of noise.
Cheap? Yes, but I will spring for a few more bucks next time and NEVER stay here again. Live and learn.
