So why 5 stars for Lab services? Well, in all the things that matter, they do an outstanding job.
Efficiency: You can make an appointment for blood work online and when you show up, the wait time is minimal. The actual blood draw is quick, easy and almost painless. The second street parking garage is very easy to access, and the lab is a short walk from the ground floor of the garage.
Professionalism: Everyone on staff are friendly and professional. From the receptionist who greets you and checks you in, to the person who handles all the paperwork, takes your insurance info, and gains your informed consent, to the phlebotomist who treats you respectfully and does her job very well.
Comfort: The very large waiting area is light and open and filled with comfortable seats that are arranged for sitting with others or by yourself. You can even sit so you don’t have to watch the ubiquitous TV.
Cleanliness: This is the most important thing that matters. The whole facility, from the hallway, to the waiting area to the treatment area are all clean, and light and well maintained. All staff observe appropriate protocols.

It was a clean, quiet environment. I was called up immediately. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The phlebotomist was very good at finding a vein without having to dig around like some other labs do.
