I stumbled on this website trying to place another order. i disagree with these 2 reviews. The chicken was great I thought, it had a lot of flavor and was still very nice and moist even after BBQ’ing it. which seems rare to me from prepackaged frozen foods. and the guy saying the steak cut too easily… i’ve always considered that a mark of a good steak. maybe he had something i didnt, but my filet was really nice and tender(not like he said) anyway, i love that they bring it to my door, and i can just order it online. To each his own, but im going to place my second order as soon as im done writing this.

Wow, I didnt know door to door salesmen were still around, well, other than teenagers pushing magazines so they can go to the waterslides in a limousine and eat McDonalds. I honestly couldnt believe my eyes, after taking a day off on a Monday and crushing the ski hill, I found myself back at the house ready to motor boat one of the biggest sandwiches I had ever seen in my life from a great deli down the street whose name I will leave out to segregate a company doing it right from one doing it completely wrong. So… I hear a horn honk in the driveway, I guess the delivery man couldnt help seeing my front door open and thought, «Their door is open, they definately want $ 500 worth of steaks and seasfood» The sales pitch came on as if the steaks had fallen off the truck and I was about to score a ton of individual steaks of just about every cut of beef for Free. I quickly learned the price, this clown was selling $ 379 for a box of steaks door to door, ha ha ha! Credit, Check, or cash! I had $ 40 on me, and was just about ready to hand over $ 40 just to get the guy off my property, «No steaks, just put your box back in your truck and beat it» I didnt have a calculator with me, other wise I would have banged out the numbers, I couldnt even tell if this was a deal or if I was being ripped off, I was just a guy wanting to crush a huge sandwich in the privacy of my own home and now I got some dude selling a bunch of meat like I have a walk in refrigerator in the back and my personal chef was waiting to get these babies preped. When the salesman realized I wasnt digging what he was selling, he offered a box of seafood for only $ 100 and asked me if I liked Lobster. What the hell is going on? You know I dont want your steaks and now you think I want a steak and seafood combo. This company just isnt right, hard selling steaks door to door, kiss my butt. If your unable to get good beef at your local butcher, go to Costco or order online from Omaha Steaks and let Reno’s Biggest Little Steak Company run natures course.

I’ve got to consume $ 100 worth of meat…(dread! sigh!)… I bought this much meat from this company when they were delivering meat for my next door neighbor here in Lodi. I respected her judgment, and thught it was a pretty good value… if it turned out OK. But, as you notice… it did not turn out OK. The delivery guy tried to sell me $ 250 of meat with all kinds of cuts… New York, Filet, Hamburger, etc. I was not crazy enough to buy over $ 200 of meat without a taste test… I convinced the delivery guy $ 100 is more than enough for me… The meat is boxed by type of meat… and each cut is individually packaged and delivered frozen. Pretty convenient I would say… I’ve got to admit I’ve only tried one cut of freeze-packed meat… specifically a pretty hefty New York Steak. I cooked the New York like I like my steaks… Salt, Pepper, Chili Peppr, a little Soy Sauce and some Garlic. It seemed very tender when it was getting broiled. Upon consumption… the meat, although tender, had the texture of meat that was too chemically tenderized. None of the meat fiber stayed together… the meat cut way too easily. No, it wasn’t a Kobe!!! Now I’m stuck with quite a few more packages of this meat! Glad my neighbor is not a Unilocaler! Maybe I can get rid of it with a block BBQ party? Best cuts of Beef per buck? — Costco. Believe it or not!
