Terrible all the way around. Been to several different locations of POS and this by far is the worst location I have been to. No wonder it was D E A D inside! Customer service was completely lacking. 2 folks on staff — male and female and both were complete airheads. Complaining outright about this and that and carrying on about personal issues. Seriously?!? No pride in ownership at all in this location. Looked dingy and dirty. Ordered 2 small sandwiches on less than fresh white bread. This chain sorely cuts corners in all ways possible and screws its patrons. They do skimp on the meat… seriously sorry amount being put on sandwiches as well as a 1millimeter thin thin thin amount of cheese. Unreal! They hardly have any condiments to add to the sandwich and even then they try and skimp on them when making the sandwich. Don’t like how less than sanitary they make the sandwiches… just slap that bread on that metal table and start making it. Why not put down the paper wrapper first and then make the sandwich on top of that? That way all the toppings that fall off as you sloppily make the sandwich fall onto paper and the customer still gets the product? WHY let all the extra sandwich material fall all over metal table and you throw away and waste food?!? The condiments don’t even appear to be kept cool at the legal temperature to keep the items fresh and keep customers safe and healthy. Unbelievable. Yah no more. High prices for nothing. Risking my health at the same time. Highway robbery here.

Very slow service! In fact, I downloaded the Unilocal app, signed up for an account, and wrote this review all while waiting to get a sandwich at 4:23pm. Hardly a busy time of the day!!! Stay away from this one!

Ok, I LOVE Port of subs sandwiches… but this restaurant in itself fricken sucks! The reason why… Customer Service. I walked in one day, starving and completely taken aback by what was about to happen. I frequented this particular store because it was close to home, quite often. I ordered a Chicken Cesar wrap, with provolone and bacon, grilled… Now at this point I should have been paying closer attention I guess, but instead I walked over and grabbed my bag of chips, took me a minute to decide, as the lady started. Upon returning to the counter, the women asked me what veggies I wanted on it and I thought she had already done what I asked so I proceeded to tell her. She was putting on the Cesar dressing when I thought to ask(Because I am so picky about the way this is made) if she had grilled it.(I’ve worked for a port of subs a long time ago, and I am VERY picky about the way my sandwiches are made. This applies to every sandwich shop I go to.) She replied with a cautious no. I promptly stated that I had asked for it grilled when I told her what I wanted. With a bit of an attitude I might add, she quickly wrapped it up and threw it on their grill(Lettuce, dressing, veggies and all) and grilled it. Now… there’s nothing worse to me… than soggy, hot lettuce, or hot dressing that’s supposed to be cold. The point of the way I do this is to have, a warm tortilla, melted cheese and warm chicken, with cold lettuce and veggie and cold dressing. A perfect combo. So I told her again, trying to make a point as to why I was going to ask for a re-make, Hey, I asked for this to be grilled when I told you what I wanted, I do not like hot, soggy lettuce or hot dressing… and asked if she would re-make it for me. She told me no, to which I replied, No?! in a surprised voice. Then said she’d have to ask her manager. The manager came out(He was probably the owner as well) I told him what had happened. He said, in the same broken English I got from her, They would Not make me a new wrap because there was nothing wrong with the one she had made originally. I told him that I didn’t like soggy lettuce or hot dressing, and I didn’t want that one. I said, «You seriously wont make me a new one!?» Nope… was all I got… «You pay for this one, this one just fine.» I was so furious and so hungry, and SO pregnant, that I almost lost it right there in the store and threw the wrap at him. however. I simply said, FINE, and pushed the wrap back across the counter and walked out. The look on his face was priceless… Needless to say, I will NEVER, EVER go back there,

This is the most forgettable Port of Subs I’ve ever been to. The sandwich seemed a little light on the meat compared to anywhere else I’ve been. Minus one star. Extremely limited selection of toppings. I normally get spinach instead of the generic shredded iceberg lettuce – they didn’t have that option. Also, the jalapenos were shriveled and sad looking, tossed into a dry metal tin. Dry, as in they weren’t soaking in any juices, just sitting there. Lastly, anyplace that doesn’t accept American Express automatically loses a star. They don’t, so YOINK! – Minus that third star.(I have my very specific criteria, much in the same way a certain unsweetened tea drinker has his…) Avoid this place if you can, it just has an overall generic feel to it. Next time, I’ll just stick to my usual South Meadows location.
