Just visited this place to buy some boots and some other stuff for a friend on her birthday. Not the warmest or friendliest place on the planet. No one asked to help. Once my friend picked out her boots we were walking around with them, looking at other stuff and one of the employees, who had been watching us the whole time came over and kind of rudely just said«I’m taking those boots to the front counter». As if we were going to run out of the store with them without paying. We had gone in there to potentially spend a good chunk of money but it was such an unfriendly atmosphere, we just bought the one pair of boots and left. Most likely will not be visiting this place again.

The employees are awesome. I had a conversation with Linda about boots and how to properly break them in as well as maintain them. I love boots and big belt buckles. I’m impressed when I meet someone who actually loves what they do. You can tell that Linda loves what she does. On my way out I searched for her and gave her a hug. I’m from DC so to talk with someone like that was a treat. Thanks again and next time I’m in town I’ll stop by.

I was looking for a pair of boots. No one in the store offered to help me or anything. I just walked out. I’ll buy online. I wanted to give the locals some business even if it meant paying a little more. Oh well. Not going back there again.

Had a great time! The sales associate with preety red hair(whose brother I went to high school in Bishop with named Cameron) helped me and was attentive and helpful! Wonderful selection of boots, work wear, cute clothes for girls and so country glam I’m hooked! Yeeehaaaaaaw

I went to Boot Barn looking for some boots for the rodeo this year. They have a massive selection and I was immediately greeted by Samantha who showed me to my size shoe. When I picked my boots I paid out with Samantha as well. She was very sweet and professional. I would say the boots are pricey, but these boots are the real deal. Nice leather and very pretty– well worth the price. Plus, I got $ 20 off because of the rodeo deals! I will definitely be back for more rodeo gear!

I’m not a huge boot fan, but I was pleasantly surprised at the selection. I was just looking for a pair of black boots that went up past my ankles. I found a few pairs, but not in that size on the floor. Kloe, a salesperson, was very friendly and knowledgeable and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. If I’m ever in the mood for rhinestone covered boots… I know where to go.

I’ve only ever dreamed of boots so beautiful before. And there’s rhinestones. Lots of rhinestones. If you like that sort of thing.

The first time I walked into Boot Barn I was pretty impressed at their selection. I didn’t have enough time to purchase boots at that time, so I vowed to come back. The second time I found the same huge selection. However, as far as work boots are concerned, they didn’t have what I wanted. Ideally I want an american made boot especially if I’m paying top dollar at a «WESTERNSTORE». Every work boot I was interested in was made in China for $ 120+ Yes, they still had a great selection but still not what I was looking for in my situation. I figured I’d leave and maybe find a Mom and Pop boot /shoe store. I was in Gardnerville one day and found Angelos Bootery. He had a waterproof Wolverine boot I wanted but it wasn’t in stock. I tend to understand that from a small business owner. What I did find was DB Shoes with 50% off sales. They had very similar Dr. Martens that Boot Barn Had. Yes, they’re made in China which was sad. However, I didn’t have to pay $ 150 for one pair. These were on sale for $ 70 per pair so I bought 2 pairs. One in Black and the other in Dark Brown. This is not a review to bash Boot Barn but maybe to wake them up on pricing, and better selections. Come on Boot Barn, get a wider variety of work boots including waterproof styles especially ones made in America.

Boot Barn is a decent place to go to get your Western Wear. I bought some boots and and few items, their prices are expensive but they carry the really good brands. The boot selection is one of the best in Reno for standard boots. The mens shirt selection is very good, the women’s shirt seems to be more limited. The employees are helpful and give a good level of service. Anytime your purchase an item over $ 25 bucks they give you a coupon for 10 percent off of your purchase to use for your next store purchase, which is nice.
