Yes, drive-up service is that bad. Tonight I stopped for for a pumpkin spice latte. The guy at the window took my order, I paid, and when I got to the second window, I was told they did not have lattes. I replied that it would have been nice if the person at the first window had notified me that they were out before I paid. I then ordered a hot coffee with cream and sugar sub, and also asked the person taking the order at the second window to be sure the coffee was hot. I had gotten lukewarm coffee last week at the same McDonald’s. He brought the coffee, I paid and asked if it was hot. His reply, «sorta». I took a sip and handed it back; it was lukewarm. He asked, «Do you want the coffee or your money back?» I responded, «You don’t have a microwave?» He just shrugged his shoulders. I asked for my money back and got my coffee at Jack in the Box. The thing is I love McDonald’s coffee, but I like it hot. Last week I ordered a grilled chicken snack wrap, and paid at the first window. When I got to the second window, I was informed that they were out of grilled chicken. They couldn’t have communicated that to the guy at the order window? The manager did nothing, and she was standing there, looking on, no apology or explanation. It’s like this McDonald’s is being run by a bunch of ill-trained newbies, and it never gets any better. There is usually a wait, there is confusion at the windows. The owner of this McDonald’s needs to take a good look at the incompetence at this location. The McDonald’s on East Prater is so much better at customer service.

I did not have the negative experience that many Unilocalers here are describing. I came here with my family before we hit the slopes for skiing and we ordered 5 Sausage McMuffins. No more than 5 minutes after we ordered, we got our food and was ready to go. The cheese was not fully melted on the sandwiches, and while this sucks, this is consistent with other McDonald’s that I’ve been too. Scott’s negative review from 12÷2÷2014 because he was charged for extra dipping sauces is a bit unfair in my opinion. This particular McDonald is not charging customers more than other McDonald’s. Other McDonald’s will charge you as well for extra sauce.

This review may seem like it’s a joke but I kid you not. If you cant believe it, just ask any employee next time your at a McDonalds. As for me, I really don’t understand McDonalds nugget sauce math, because it does not add up! Employees tell me that they can only give me two(2) dipping sauces for an order of 10 piece nuggets. I ordered the 20 piece meal and was told that they can only give me three(3) dipping sauces. Worse yet, employees insist on charging myself and every customer .25(That’s twenty-five cents) for the additional sauce! In addition,(no pun intended) I can not believe that employees would run the .25(That’s twenty-five cents) charge on my credit card because I had asked for the extra sauce when I picked up my completed order! Don’t they pay a fee per transaction? If so, I bet its more than the quarter charge and the manufacturing of the nugget sauce in the first place! It almost seems like they robbed themselves any profit from this kind of transaction. What the hey is going on here? Plus, I was under the impression that applicants were at least required to have a G.E.D. or equivalent to be employed with this popular restaurant chain. What’s next? An extra charge for the to-go bag? I mean, are the nugget sauces driving you toward bankruptcy? It sure does appear that way.

July 6, 2013 Saturday — breakfast 6:00AM 2 adults & kid Atmosphere — NA Food — 4 stars Service — 4 stars Background — Tried to go to Carl’s Jr. just down the street but their breakfast is limited and they were missing items, because of this they had nothing for my daughter. Atmosphere — No rating as we went through the drive thru. Food Appetizer — none today. Drinks — I skipped this as I had some canned Starbucks drinks with me. My Main Course — I had two sausage egg mcmuffins. What you expect in these breakfast sandwiches, but nothing that great. Dessert — None today. Service — The ordering station had a display unit to verify what you ordered. They used two windows first to collect your money and the second to deliver your money. Future — sure.

I was looking for some cheap fast food and remembered that I had a coupon for Mc D’s. Buy a 1⁄3 lb Angus burger and get a medium fry and drink for free. When I arrived I saw they still had the sign that for any sized soft drink was $ 1. I went inside and ordered the Bacon and cheese Angus burger. The cashier asked me what number. I said just the burger because I have this coupon. She still insisted on me telling her the meal number. I did. Then I asked if I could upgrade to a large drink, since it was the same price. She did not know how to ring in the coupon or the answer to my question so she called the manager. The manager arrived, and spoke with the cashier in Spanish about what I wanted. I was then told NO I could not upgrade, even though the drinks are the same price. When my food was finished the girl giving food out could not tell 12 from 13 tried to give my food away, not once, not twice, but about 4 times. The cashier even had to ell her 2 times that was my order #12 not #13. When I finally convinced her that it was my food and I got to eat the fries were still OK, but the burger was just OK, the bun was a little stale. Over all this was the worst experience I have ever had at a Mc D’s This location does have a play area outside, so it would be good for children. The restaurant is also clean. Just poor customer service on this trip.
