I think this has been one of the best locations I have visited. I didn’t buy anything this time, but the gentleman that helped me was so helpful and you can tell he genuinely cared about what I was looking for. Clean. Friendly. Professional.

Typically when you walk into foot locker in the mall, you browse around, maybe try on some kicks and you either buy them or you don’t. My husband has been wearing the same style Nike’s for probably 9 years now, and we decided it was time for a change. Upon walking the store, we were greeted by Bill, who seemed to be quite knowledgeable on the products he sold. My husband asked what was popular, and his answer was, «Whatever feels good on your feet». I knew we were about to have a great experience at that very moment. He started off by asking what my husband does for work, how often he is on his feet and what type of surface he typically walked on. He then made some recommendations based on all those factors. We were really impressed at this point. After picking out the brand that felt the best, it was time to narrow it down to color. Bill was so patient, as my husband is a bit picky when it comes to his kicks. He kept going back and forth, lacing, unlacing, bringing out new colors, taking back the ones that didn’t work, and focused his attention on us the entire time. As my husband was wrapping up his selections, we causally started talking about my feet and what awful pain I have after working a long day in the restaurant. I explained how I am nearly crippled with pain and walk like I am 90 years old on almost a nightly basis due to the fact that I have fallen arches in my feet. After carefully listening, he told me to wait right where I was and to he would be right back. I figured my rambling about my old lady feet problems bored him and he was politely trying to excuse himself. Wrong! He walked back to me holding a slim box, arch support inserts. He asked me what kind of shoes I typically wear to work, what kind of work do I do and what surfaces do I walk on. He had me take my shoes off to examine my feet. He told me I would notice a huge difference if I tried the inserts in my flats.(I am just not ready to hit up rockport shoes yet, so I suffer daily to wear my cute little flats which are terrible for my type of foot.) He took my shoes, and slipped the inserts in and then put the shoes back on my feet. It was like I was walking on clouds. He explained the mechanics of how my foot is constructed and what damage I was doing to my hips and back by neglecting to wear the right protection in my shoes. He let me keep them in my shoes for awhile and I was shocked at the difference they made in my shoe. We had him wrap everything up, and paid at the counter. This experience and his customer service was above and beyond. He wasn’t there to just sell me us a shoe. You can see he was passionate about making people feel good and giving them complete satisfaction. HUGE kudo’s to Bill at the Foot Locker in Meadowood Mall. It really was TOPNOTCH service he provided.
