This is a fine fast(ish) food burger place. No I won’t rant and rave about how wonderful it is because it simply isn’t. But in all reality what fast food burger place is truly wonderful? I haven’t come across one, atleast. Their prices are a little steep but it’s definitely quality when it comes to fast food(compare it to McDonalds). I got a medium deal cheeseburger with skinny fries. Burger was good. Not great, but definitely good, it hit the spot for me! The fries were okay but in my opinion their fries have always just been a little meh to me. That’s nothing new. It took around 8 – 10 minutes for my food to come out, but I’ve come to get used to this wait here, nice to know they are actually making the burger and fries! The staff is always friendly, and this location has grown to be my favorite splurge once every few months!

$ 18 of disappointment. I ordered a medium burger with cheese and bacon, fries, and onion rings online. Came in after 30 mins and they haven’t even started yet since they didn’t check their online orders. No one was inside the store, mind you. Apparently they were all out of salt, so they drenched my fries and onion rings with pepper. Even then all my stuff were flavorless. Literally the only thing I could taste was the bacon. Everything was so bland. I was really looking forward to it too.

Eh. not too sure if I’ll be back. I had never tried FatBurger until I moved up in the area recently, I’ve been here twice now and both times were mediocre at best. Service is just fine, and things are a bit slow because it seems like they cook to order which is just fine by me. But the burgers are just not up to par, ingredients just don’t seem fresh. My bread was on the verge of being stale, veggies were not fresh, and it was just unimpressive all around.

Well, I was quite let down. Maybe it’s because the place first opened, maybe the employees didn’t know what they were doing, but I haven’t been back since. Growing up in Vegas, we had a Fatburger up the street and ate out there at least 3 times a month. I loved the burgers, but adored/desired/craved/devoured the milkshakes. So when I saw that Reno was getting one, I was stoked. First off, the place was dead. The employee(we’re now so far past this visit I don’t remember his name) was pretty apathetic taking our order. He seemed like he didn’t want to be there, which made me not want to be there. Once we got our food, I was so let down with it all. The flavor was meh, the milkshake was sad. I walked out baffled. How could a favorite restaurant of my youth be such a disappointment as an adult? Maybe I should give this place another go, as it’s been so long, maybe the service has gotten better, maybe the chefs have fixed their preparation to make it as delicious as I remember from one of the Vegas stores.

I’m kicking myself that I didn’t check the Unilocal reviews before my husband and I made our first trip to our local Fatburger. Our wait in the drive thru was not bad. I understand this isn’t traditional«fast food» and it can be slow. Their machines were down so they only accepted cash and I luckily had some on me. The customer service attitude was icey and not very helpful. The price was far too expensive for these burgers. They were greasy and flavorless and I spent the entire time eating it feeling the regret that I could have made something so much better for this amount of money. Huge mistake. After I was done eating it my mouth felt horribly greasy. I had to go wash my face. We will never be returning.

$ 25 for 2 burgers fries and a drink. A little pricey. Went through the drive-thru, they forgot my fries. Was a little annoyed. Got home and the burgers were awesome!!! I recommend this place for the awesome food. If the service was a little better I would be a regular.

Ordered online. Didn’t even get our order right. Roommate ordered mixed fat and skinny fries with onions, salt and pepper, an XXL burger and I ordered skinny fries with salt and a medium burger. Roommate got two, yes two, skinny fries and no onions, salt or pepper. My fries had no salt. Our burgers seem to have acquired the missing salt on top of the regular seasoning. Inedible. I called, they offered to replace what we had not eaten. I make a second trip and of course when I get home, my roommates burger had been downsized to a half pound. We will not be going back to this location

Mind-blowingly expensive for extraordinarily unextraordinary food. Like, up the street, there’s a little place called Wendy’s that serves more flavorful food at a lower price with better service. Shockingly bad.

I’ve frequented this Fat Burger since I’ve moved to Reno, and tonight I was sadly and very much so, disappointed. My boyfriend and I came in around 7:15PM, to a packed dining area and drive-thru. This doesn’t usually bother me, as I work retail and am very understanding and patient. We placed our order, and sat down to wait. About 20 minutes after we placed our order, my boyfriend noticed a bag that looked like ours on the counter for pick-up. It was promptly picked up, and flung out of the drive-thru window to a customer. While waiting for our food, two other people came in, ordered, and sat down to wait. They were quickly given their food, while my boyfriend and I still waited for ours. At this point, I was frustrated, tired, and hungry, so my boyfriend walked up to the counter and waited there until he was addressed several minutes later. We were then notified our food had in fact gone to a customer in the drive-thru. I asked for my money back, and left. I think this review really explains itself, so I don’t have to leave you with much of a closing statement other than if you want good customer service and your food, don’t go to this Fat Burger.

15 minutes in the DRIVETHRU! We got 4 milkshakes. Did not order anything special. Saw people inside order their shakes and leave while we sat there waiting. Their shakes taste awesome but the wait is ridiculous! Four shakes with discount was a little over $ 13. Their shakes are about 16ozs and come with whip cream. MILITARYDISCOUNTS available.

Had a real craving for a good burger I drove across town to try this out having seen there food trucks and such before, wasn’t greeted and in fact the lady taking orders took a drive through order while I was standing there ordered the western Burger and a soda which I believe was 8.50 didn’t get a receipt I got my burger and first bite was into hard over cooked bacon then into the well done charred patty the bun was uninspiring kinda dry n falling apart and lacked condiments :(not what I was hoping for at all I live by an in n out and they are ½ the price sorry to say I wouldn’t be back… is it just this location?

Too bad there is so many one star reviews. I actually was pretty happy with my food. For $ 30.39 to be exact we got a ½ lb Fatburger with fries and a drink, a kids Fatburger meal, and an order of chicken strips. I think that’s fairly decent for a semi fast food restaurant. My little man said his burger was really good and ate half of the strips, but didn’t really touch his fries. My burger was freakin delicious. Probably best burger I’ve had from a drive thru. The ½ lb patty was seasoned with pepper on the outside before it was grilled giving it a really good flavor. I do wonder however if they actually weigh the patty because I’m not quite sure if it was actually a ½ lb. seemed a little bit small. The hamburger was a little dry in my opinion, but when I put some thousand island dressing on it, I was in fat kid heaven. The fries were probably my only complaint. They were bland so I could taste whatever oil they cooked it in. Not a fan. All in all it was very good. I think that I would return if in the area and in the mood and would definitely recommend it if anyone asked.

Went here hoping to find a great burger. But was disappointed by their customer service. I ordered through the drive through and it took forever before someone to come and take my order; I almost drove straight to the next window. After ordering and having it confirmed, they couldn’t even tell me my total, saying they would have it for me at the next window. When I drove up there, it took about five minutes before someone even approached the window. My order took another five minutes before it was ready after I paid. I had gotten one burger with mushrooms, and there was one miniscule withered mushroom on there, the meat was overcooked, and the bacon I ordered was so dried, almost like jerky. Final word? Over cooked, over priced, over the bad customer service.

Was curious how the reviews of this place are going since my 2012 review, so I just checked the reviews. I’m appalled at the reviewers! Many 1 – 2 stars from people who just«don’t get» Fatburger and probably had, at worst, 2 – 3 star experiences(a place should be REALLYBAD to deserve 1 star, ever!). Disregard them. Now hear this: although their listing comes up mainly in the fast good category(because it’s a «burger joint»), Fatburger is NOT fast food, and that’s neither good nor bad. Fatburger is simply slower, higher quality, and hence higher priced than fast food – go expecting more of a restaurant/diner burger experience, speed/quality/price-wise! Plus, this location is tiny, so they can get swamped; that means mega-waits both to order and for food. On top of that, because it’s not fast food, busy periods make the wait longer… if you don’t like waiting, suck it up, buttercup! They make everything to-order and by-hand, so everything takes long and it’s normally worth the wait if you don’t let the wait bother you and foul your appetite and objectivity!(BTW: umm, duh, the fact that they get swamped tells you that many people«get» and love Fatburger!) Finally: because it’s not fast food, don’t do the drive thru and complain(and review cluelessly) about drive-thru wait times… especially if you don’t know if it’s swamped inside or not! Heck, due to how they’re not fast food, they probably shouldn’t even have a drive thru… so use the drive thru STRICTLY because you’re doing take-out anyway and you’d rather sit in the comfort of your car then go inside – but do NOT expect fast food speed and then post a bad review if you wait like the people inside are waiting!
