Dufur Albert OD

Dr. Albert Dufur was an excellent optometrist, and I was very pleased with his level of care. Following his untimely death, I stayed with the practice to see his colleague, Dr. Matthew Sisson, and I am very glad that I have. Dr. Sisson is very knowledgeable, friendly, young, and approachable. He introduces himself as ‘Matt’ which indicates he doesn’t put on the airs that so many other doctors do. I did not feel rushed at all, and he explained everything very well. I will continue to recommend this practice!

One of the most overwhelming things, for me, about moving to a new city was the process of finding new medical professionals to replace the beloved ones I’d left behind in the Midwest. While the search for my doctor and dentist versions of «the one» took some time, I was lucky enough to get it right the first time around with my eye doctor. I’ve been seeing Dr Dufur for nearly a decade now, and every single time I go in I walk out a little more impressed.
There is rarely a wait more than a few minutes past your appointment time, and that is something that I truly appreciate. Each member of the staff at this office is incredibly professional and helpful. From the folks working at the desk, to those who do the pre-​testing, to the amazing staff who happily (and honestly!) help with the selection of glasses, and, of course, Dr Dufur himself. I’ve not once encountered anyone at this office who was anything less than a delight to work with, and I highly recommend them to anyone in search of an eye doctor.

Dr. DuFur spent several hours examining my son after a concussion that caused him vision problems. Fantastic level of care.
Additionally, the support staff was professional and courteous.

This was my first visit to this eye care facility and I must say one of the best experiences I have had. The front office was really friendly. Once my son and I were called to the back the person helping us was extremely nice and professional. She made conversation with us and explained everything that was happening. We then saw the Doctor who again was extremely friendly and thorough. Doctor Dufur took his time and explained our eyes and everything we needed to do. I was then met with another girl who helped me pick out a set of frames. They measured for proper fit something my old eye doctor didn’t do. To wrap it up I was suspicious changing eye doctors. The process and decision couldn’t have been a better one. I am extremely happy with Dr. Dufur and would recommend his office highly.
