California Closets

Designer (Megan) worked with us until we came up with a design that we were happy with. Dennis (our installer) was exceptional. On time, professional, clean, AWESOME! We had a small issue with the closet that Dennis was able to alter on-​site saving us a reschedule. Truly appreciate the thought that Dennis put into his work. Thank you, Dennis!

We contacted 4 of the major closet contractors in town, California closets, Closet Masters, Closets by design, and Sierra Nevada Cabinets and Closets.
Our closet is very small, 5’x10’. Our neighbor’s closet on the other hand is almost exactly twice the size of ours. Their quote came in at $ 2800. Our quote came in at $ 3100. Hmm, don’t really see how that is possible considering our closet was half the size of theirs and they were going to charge $ 300 more??? And furthermore, our bid didn’t include half of what theirs included. Furthermore the woman sales person response to the discrepancy was «well sometimes people lie.» Yeah, they were not lying to us but thanks for your uncalled for response. Ultimately we went with Ron at Sierra Nevada Cabinets and Closets.

Dan from California closets called after hearing about our experience. I Felt they deserved an extra star based on his follow up with me. Dan seemed genuinely concerned about our initial experience with the design consultant who came out and gave us our quote. Had Dan come out originally we may have been in a different spot. Dan did attempt to make up for our initial experience, but by that time we had already gone with Sierra Nevada Cabinets and Closets.
Again, I cannot comment on the overall quality of the product, but only my feelings from the initial consultation.

On time and could not be more pleased. Mario was professional and made a small change after I decided it was not going to work the way originally planned. Only a few hours later and my new closet was installed. Can’t wait to get stuff put away and enjoy!!! Thank you California Closets!

Called California Closets to come out and give me a quote on installing/​creating for me a home entertainment built in for our living room. Designer came out about a month ago and said he would get back to us with a quote for the project. I have not heard from him or the company since. I made several calls to California Closets, left messages for the designer, sent emails. No response. I can’t comment on their work but I can say that there customer follow-​up is one of the worst I have ever experienced.
