So my friends and I come on a Saturday night to this club. Everyone is free except for me! Now I get it I am an out of state, but students were no cover charge and I am a student and has my student ID for California. Nope! That didn’t work either, you have to be an UNR student! Ridiculous for me to have to pay 10 bucks when I’m a student and its not like I don’t buy drinks! On top of that I am also a gold plus member at the Eldorado so it should have been no issue letting me in for no cover charge. When we ended up going in it was completely dead too! What a complete waster that 10 dollars was.

This was a hotspot for me back in my clubbing days… won’t say how many years ago, but you might be able to figure it out if you remember the ever changing stained glass décor before they closed, tried something else, then renovated and reopened to the contempo joint it is now. I came on this occasion to celebrate a friend’s birthday with a group of her friends, several of which were mutual friends. She got the seven of us on the guestlist, so there was no cover. We had our choice of seating as we were one of the first guest to arrive. We grabbed some drinks at one of the two bars and learned that one of the bartenders was also celebrating a birthday. My drink consisted of coke mixed with Three Olive’s S’mores vodka. The drinks come in small plastic cups with a good load of ice… so what looks like a 10oz serving might actually be about 6oz. The drinks range $ 7-$ 10, depending on your mix of poisons. Later, I requested a White Russian and was disappointed to learn that they didn’t have any milk or cream. Boo, hiss!!! DJ Dragon provided the musical entertainment, a mix of house and hip-hop. There are multiple tv’s around the venue that display music videos mostly matching the songs playing at the time. Although, my favorite was one of Penelope from the movie«Wreck It Ralph» chosen as the background. The dance floor remained vacant for about the first hour of the evening, but once people started taking space, it didn’t take long to fill the area, which can pack a pretty good crowd. I was thankful that I didn’t feel overly squished as I have experienced at other clubs. I liked the atmosphere, the bar service, the music for the most part, the dance space, and that my friends and I had a really good time.

I think drinks are watered down at every night club you go. That is to be expected I guess, unfortunate so might I suggest going to a dive bar and having a few? Little nugget hooks it up haha. Anywho, I like the music they play here most times. It gets a little crowded, but if you throw some elbows it’ll get the herd moving a long. I like that they don’t have go go dancers, I think that’s semi trashy, like next step to a strip club trashy. Then again this is Reno so that’s to be expected too.

ATTENTION!!! The drinks are watered down! I had 6 – 7 long islands and I didn’t even have a Buzz… They have this«Pre-mix» for the Long islands and it was extremely disappointing. The music was good overall. Pretty young crowd(21 – 30’s).

Not bad at all! Bubinga is located within the El Dorado right by the buffet. Super easy to find, and super convenient if you are staying within the Circus Circus/Silver Legacy/El Dorado hotels. Free guestlist is before 11pm, and cover after that is a very reasonable $ 10. They play mainly hip-hop, top 40 and mix in a little bit of EDM as the night goes on. Open late as well! Parties usually will last until 3−4am. The venue isn’t as big as Edge, but it fills up quickly. Dance floor can get packed, but there’s seating around the edges by the bars so if you just want to sit back and chill, they got you covered. Crowd here tends to be younger then Edge as well! Drinks are typical club prices. $ 8-$ 10. They do have open bar and bottle service specials if you prebook ahead of time. You can score some great deals, contact a host before hand and they’ll do 2 bottles of Ciroc for $ 350.up to 12 people. So make sure you check them out on Facebook! I tend to have more fun here since we usually stay at Circus or Silver Legacy… pregame and kill a bottle in the room, then walk down to Bubinga for a good time, never fails!

I used to hang out at Bubinga back in the day. It seems like nothing has changed, the same old tired house/rap music and the same old Cali-crowd. Seriously, the women are more plentiful and hotter at Brew Bros. I also hate the all-you-can-drink cheap vodka deal not only because it’s a stupid idea with very small servings of vodka, but it makes everyone at the club hog the bars continually filling up their stupid cups which means I get NO service even though I’m buying MORE alcohol and paying MORE and probably tipping MORE. I’m not a prima donna and saunter up to the bar expecting preferential treatment. I expect to wait my turn, but I don’t expect the bartender to keep passing over me and serve idiots who just walked up to the bar and for whatever reason, they’re shockingly ugly or something, the bartender notices them before me. I have no idea why this always seems to be happening to me. I lean over, I have my cash at hand,(which means less time to process than a credit card hence more time for bartenders to make money), and I’m ready to go. Service always sucks here. I’ll stick with Brew Brothers and Rise.

BuBinga is the pop/top40 lounge/club in El Dorado. It’s located right in front of the buffet entrance. I like that the attire is more strict, so you don’t have fools tryna walk in with flip-flops and t-shirts. The line gets really long especially on Saturdays. Door opens at 10& a line had already formed around 9:40. I would say that Saturdays are way more crackin then Fridays. & cover was ridiculous. not free before a certain time & not free for girls… it was $ 10 or $ 20 Music on the Friday I went was ok. mostly dance pop with some mixed-in random rock, hip-hop, house. music was ok. The crowd is really chill, mostly late 20’s, 30’s and even 40’s… friendly people who just wanna get drunk & have a fun time Honestly, being 22&LOVING hip-hop, I would recommend AURALOUNGE. It’s just down stairs in Silver Legacy. & they have NOCOVERCHARGE.

My boyfriend and I went to check this club out when we came on a road trip to Reno for my 22nd birthday. We were wanted to go to a club out here but not knowing which club was«better» than the rest, we sort of just picked this out of random and based on the reviews. We were staying at The Atlantis hotel so BuBinga wasn’t walking distance. We drove there and we parked in the El Dorado parking lot(since this is where the club was located). The parking lot was packed and we didn’t find parking until the 5th floor. When we found parking, we walked into El Dorado and tried to find BuBinga Lounge. It was a bit tricky to find but looking around and following the crowd of young college kids, we knew we were going the right way. The wasn’t much of a line, since we got there after the club open. The cover charge for the both of us was $ 10 each. So $ 20 in total.(much better considering most clubs back in CA were $ 20 each to get in). We got in and it was loud(as any club is), packed with people(like any club, with drunks and non drunks). The main dance floor was really small and the VIP area was a decent size but not packed at all. The bar area was CRAZYPACKED(like any club) but literally my bf and I stood at the bar for what seemed like forever! All to order only two little tiny drinks, which was a total of $ 13, once Cosmo and one Rum and Coke, which were both watered down, but eh whatever. Once we got our drinks out of the way, we enjoyed some dancing on a really sticky dance floor, which had drinks spilled all over it. People weren’t too crazy, mostly young crazy college kids, some older couples and some singles lingering around. The DJ was awesome, played a little bit of everything, which is always a plus. The club was open until 4am and by 2:30am almost 3am it was starting to die down, so that is when my bf and I decided to leave. We arrived there at 11:30pm and didn’t leave till 3am. I felt like it was a decent time to spend at a club. Had a good time and I will definitely be back! :D

We went up for an Elvis Pub Crawl this weekend. BuBinga lounge was the last stop for the night. There was not supposed to be a cover charge for us, but because I don’t drink and was the DD for the night, I did not have my cup with me, so the little girl working the door tried to charge me a cover. Any other club I’ve ever been to has been at least supportive of a designated driver. Apparently, BuBinga Lounge could care less. I wonder if they’d feel the same if my friends had gotten into a car and tried to drive themselves and crashed. If you serve alcohol, you are responsible to those you serve it to. Punishing someone because they don’t drink is just shameful.

BuBingas *Sigh. It’s tough to give them 3 stars because they do try. The good: The management is very nice. My girlfriend claims the waitress is too nice to me but I only go to BuBingas to buy up Vip so obviously the waitress is going to flirt. Security is always on point. I usually slip a bouncer a bill to post with me because I’m a… Spirited drunk. Also you look bad ass having a security guard that only kicks it outside your Vip. Also if your not buying out the double bottle section so you get the room of seats you are not doing bubingas correctly. They have a decent selection of champagne and high end booze I enjoy the Dom quite a bit but they only have a mid-level entry. No cristal or vintage Dom’s. I did see some decent scotch but who goes to a club to drink scotch? There was a cool night when they brought me like 3 bottles of Dom with fireworks in it. The Bad: The Bottles are TOO expensive. I’m sorry but if I’m buying a bottle of Goose at 540 and 2 bottles of Dom at 380 I deserve some sort of comp or a low end bottle of sky or something. I went to the strip club like 3 days later and bought bottle Vip and that sh*t was 200 bucks cheaper on each bottle. At a stripclub. That is not cool. The dresscode is not enforced. At all. Ever. I try to go when they advertise with fliers the days there doing fancy nights and they always say«Dress code strictly enforced». When? I suit up because I’m a gentleman but I’ve seen people get in with the trashiest clothing I’ve ever seen like shooters quality of attire. It breaks the illusion of it being a nice club. So basically it’s decent. A lot of girls go. But a lot of douchebags go. You WILL see people in T-Shirts and jeans. The music is decent but nothing too noteworthy happening there. Good service-High prices. Final Verdict: Go to the Chocolate Bar instead.

Went here during their zombie crawl, it was really fun, the music is great and when I went it was packed and hot but fun. Only downfall is the bartenders can get a 1 star because of bad service, I waited for like 30 minutes until she got to me, she took peoples orders who came after me even though i have my money flashed out and standing there looking at her and trying to tell her I was there first all she said was sorry its so busy. I really dont think she heard me. Anyways that was the only downfall, overall the place was really fun, good music, good crowd and besides the service of the bartenders the drinks are good.

Very late but thought I might as well still give my review. BF and I was enjoying a weekend getaway at Reno and decided to give this place a shot. We were here May 19 and surprisingly it was graduation weekend for UNR. So the crowd was perfect for us 21s-30s. It was crowded but we didn’t mind at all; beats being at a dead club. All I ordered was an AMF and it was a female bartender that served us. She’s was fairly quick and the drink wasn’t bad. DJ that night was from Vegas and his mixes was also great. Another Unilocaler mentioned the ground being sticky, it was the same the night I was there but it was near the bar so I kind of expected it. There was a cover charge for $ 10 which isn’t that bad. They did however honored the check-in on Facebook or was it Unilocal.which waived the charge. We got there around 11PM and there was a large crowd in line; wait was probably 20 minutes. Also, On their website is says«stylish club attire», totally false from what I saw. Girls were in flip flops, flats, and t-shirts etc. but they were nit picky on the men for not wearing collared shirts. Which caused some groups to get heated with the management there, thankfully they had extra security that night. Overall I enjoyed it and definitely will come here again next time I’m in Reno. Or maybe we were just here on a lucky weekend.

I like BuBinga and would recommend it to anyone. It’s really cheap for locals, has a good ratio of men to women, all you can drink for $ 10, and has classy setting that’s well maintained(a lot of clubs start to get a grody feel to the seats and floors after a while). It has a more relaxed dress code than Edge only in it’s allowing different shoes. I like to go out in comfortable shoes, especially if you’ll be walking around the casino or the downtown area. Cin Cin across the way is a much classier, quieter sit down bar, as is Roxy’s a short distance away, so you can meet that girl dancing and invite her to talk somewhere quiet or vice versa. You can feel comfortable with all the Casino’s security that things aren’t going to get out of control too. One draw back is it can occasionally get crowded, but still worth checking out on busy nights because the whole of downtown and other casino bars are within walking distance if you wan’t to leave.

Friends back home were raving about this place so I finally gave in! I got on the list through their Facebook page. Myself plus 10 other people… It ended up that we had 15 people, and everyone got in just fine. I couldn’t say the same for the long line that I saw as I was leaving the lounge. As for dancing, this place was ok. The DJ area is TINY and my girls were practically dancing on stage. The tables were above the dance floor, which wasn’t very smart considering half the people in the place was drunk. Their bar area was like a ghost town. I don’t know if I came in at the wrong time, but I swear I was the only one getting drinks. The pro to that was the no wait! The bartender was also very nice but presented my kamikaze(which was I swear less than a shot) in a not so fashionable way. He served it in a plastic tall cup, not even a shot glass! Ugh I don’t know, but this place didn’t give me the best first impression. From the snooty door men who were way into their jobs, to the weird dance floor/seating area set up. Would I come back? Only if I didn’t have any other choice…

We came here on NYE for a while. It was crowded and people were partying. We came in close to the countdown, so everyone here was already pretty much a mess. The floor was so gross that my shoes kept sticking to the floor and coming off There were at least 3 major fist fights while we were there that seemed to go on for a while before it was properly handles by security. Again, NYE might not be a typical night here. I did have a good time, but the above issues made it less fun than it could have been.

Better than brew bros, the thugs are dressed a little better and the fights are more tame. The bouncers wear suits nad they let your guys in for free if you tip them well enuf!

I came here with a couple of grad students after a conference for SWACSM. Needless to say, I had a great time, but I don’t remember much. I remember paying to get in for me and a friend, and I thought $ 20 for the both of us wasn’t too bad. I did find out, however, that some other friends were able to get in for free because they had told the bouncer they were«scientists that cured cancer.» I didn’t feel so hot once I learned that I was apparently saving the world, but not getting any recognition for it. Bottomline: I would come back so I can actually remember what the place looks like inside, but that’s after I save the world.

Went there this past weekend and had a blast. They had a all white party going on and with all the black lights on poeples outfits looked pretty awesome. Cover was ten so not to bad and ages ranged from 21−45ish. We would definitely go back to this spot if we did another girls trip.

i had a really fun night… girls were free and guys were 15.00.so the girls went in to check it out first. it was dead but it was only 11pm. the cashier said it does not get busy atl 12. so i talk to the bouncer and he let my bf and guy friends in… even though they were not on the guest list. they brought alot of drinks so it made up for the entrance fee. when it was 11:45 more people came and it was cracking. the bathroom is outside of the club we got to go in and out. if your in reno go to this club inside Eldorado casino. i dont remeber if there was a dress code. the dj did a really good job with playing a mix music. i like his old school music that he played at first then he change it up middle of the night…
