Went in to buy a pair of tall gray uggs. Asked about a blue pair bc they were there, and the old guy with the brown hair and glasses was a total snob. He wouldnt even look at me. He did that look at you from above their glasses bs thing… lmao … the tone of his voice was so snobby it was clear I was not welcome for whatever reason… Im sorry if you hate Nike shoes columbia beanies and Columbia fleece that I am currently sporting dude, but you just lost a $ 200 sale bc of you bitch ass tude. Customer service is key to getting my $$$$$ and btw the store is friggn empty soooooo you prob could use it. The old lady with the black hair wasnt any better. Snotty tudes all around here. Go some place else!!!

My husband needed something for his plantar fasciitis. Doctor already told him what to get. When we came in then he told the lady about what he needed. Then she measured his feet and put on a pretty cool scanner to check it which type or size/strenght that fit for him. Service was nice and friendly. Not a big place but they’ve good selection of shoes such as Birkenstocks, UGG boots and some high quality athletic shoes, foot support and socks.

Myles assisted me in locating 2 pair of walking sandals. Because I am registered there at the store, I received a coupon for a couple of bucks off my purchase. for my birthday. Okay, this did get me back into the store. And the 2 pair of shoes I selected happened to include yet another discount if bought together. Myles was very helpful and didn’t get on my nerves following me around. He was available when I did want assistance. I am extremely satisfied with my shoes and he had a lot to do with the type of shoes I bought. Service like this and any kind of discount I can get along with the great«above standard quality» shoe selection are what keep me coming back.

Today was my first time in, I will not come again. I came in looking for a pair of kids Birkenstocks for my 6 year old. There were 3 employees in the empty store one asked what I was looking for, he said he didn’t have them I asked if he had any kids shoes he pointed to the crocks. I then asked if he knew of other stores might have them. He sent me to The Perfect Fit, they were even worse. The whole time I felt like they didn’t think I was a serious shopper. If I’m looking for an $ 80 pair of kids shoes I can afford them and you can probably sell me on something else; they didn’t even try. I felt like I was more of an annoyance than someone willing to give them money.

I was recently helping an elderly friend find a comfortable pair of shoes and Beck’s looked like it may have just that. They do appear to have a wonderful selection of comfortable and stylish shoes, however, they were clearly uncomfortable with this elderly, walker-using client. They were insensitive to her needs to negotiate the narrow spaces with her walker, and had little selection in her size 11. Granted, she is a difficult fitting situation, but a little more sensitivity(and friendliness) toward the elderly and disabled would be greatly appreciated.

I have been to Becks shoes many times. I finally bought some uggs from Jim. Some of the stitching came undone and when I talk to Jim about it he told me he would be fair. Not only was he VERY fair he told me where I could take them to be touched up, wonderful customer service and the only place I will ever buy UGGS. * plus his prices are better than Dillards in my opinion.

The first time I went in the service was great. Seemed to understand my feet problem. I left with shoes and inserts. Tried them for about a week and did well. Decided to get second set since this was for work, 10 hour shifts on my feet. I was always told if I was unhappy or uncomfortable, I could bring everything back within 30 days. Not once was I told it had to be in original packaging. Nor is that stated on the receipt. When I started to have a lot of pain, I decided to return the second pair of shoes and inserts. Never wore them, just didn’t have boxes anymore. Well got rudely pointed to a sign on the back wall about original packaging for returns. You would really need to be looking to see and read it. So after a lot of huffing and puffing and trips to the back room by Matt, I exchanged the inserts and kept the shoes. NOTHAPPY. Stuck with $ 200 of shoes I do not want and probably will not work for me. The return policy should be printed on receipt if they really are that picky. Not a teeny tiny sign hidden on back wall. I will stick with The Walking Company from now on. They honor their word.

Ok… Update… I was in the Bay Area in May this year and I knew that I was in need of a new pair of NB. I googled Becks and it directed me to the one in Sunnyvale. Iwhen my gather in law and I had arrived their were a couple of people in the store but nothing crazy… I was a immediately a little disappointed because I was welcomed or greeted or anything… Finally after about 15 or 20 min. I was asked if we needed help… When I said yes I need a pair of shoes. I was priority #1 at that point. And was given a guy immediately. I was then told I needed a different shoe than I was wearing one with more flexibility??? I actually really enjoyed the last shoe I was in?.. He put me in a new(slimmer) shoe w/less footprint. And SHOVED a pair of WIDE insoles in them.(literally they were wider than the shoes tred). Initially the shoe felt ok. But after the 20th time of wearing them… It felt horrible… And I mean. My foot was pushing out the sides. He rushed through everything to the point where my father in-law didn’t even feel like staying and getting himself a pair their… sorry Your bad guys! Get some better customer service oriented people :-)… So this past weekend my wife and I were shopping in Reno and she constantly reminds me how bad her feet feel… So we went into my favorite shoe store in RENO… We were greeted promptly and jim(the manager) appeared to be doing clerical work and immediately stopped what he was doing and engaged with my wife… She told Jim her concerns and he had her in a new pair of NB within 10 min. My wife was ECSTATIC… I then explained to him the issues I was having with the shoes I bought in May. He told me to bring them in on Sunday and he would see what he could do… Well unfortunately I was unable to make it Sunday and instead I came in today. And guess who was their??.MR. MATTBECK… The same guy that made me a customer for life last year… I explained my situation he thoroughly apologized for the way I was treated and assured me that is not the way ANY Becks shoe store should operate… He looked at my insoles and just again started apologizing and then looked at my shoes and again the apologies were just non stop at this point… WRONGSHOEFORMYAPPLICATION, WRONGINSOLEFORTHESHOE, and an extremely POR trim job to the insole for proper fit… And the shoe that was sold to me was obviously TOO slender for my foot and 1 full size to big… Matt was extremely helpful again. Fitting me getting the shoe that best fit my foot. And my application. And only asked that I pay the difference between the 2 shoes… REALLY? It was that easy… I SAYTHISAGAIN! If haven’t had the pleasure if meeting MR. MATTBECK put it in your list. go experience what this guy does for his customers… GOBUY1PAIROFSHOESFROMHIMYOUWILLBEHOOKED…. He is exceptional!.. I think every beck store needs a MATT in them… He took a very bad situation and made it right 10 fold!.. I will echo what others have said about this shoe store. Found some great pairs of shoes, all very comfortable. The hardest part was restraining myself from buying too many new pairs of shoes! Tom S. helped me and he was a delight and very patient with me. This experience reminds me of shoe stores from days gone by when you actually got real customer service.

Well… I happened upon Becks by chance. Conveniently located near Whole Foods… what goes better with groceries than shoes??? Anyway, they have a great selection of shoes. Outdoorsy and daytime… even some great and comfy heels!!! Rechelle hooked me up. And I left my shoes over night to be stretched… shoes that I, ahem, bought from another unrelated retailer. Yay!!! This place gets my business and all my referrals for going above and beyond the call of duty!!! A gem in this peculiar town of Reno! Give ‘em your business… they’re deserving!
