Been going here for years. It’s our go to neighborhood Chinese restaurant. Consistent and friendly. Food is very good.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is bullshit. Placed an order 45 min before closing. Went to pick up and they said they never received my order. What the hell do you have an online ordering system for if you can’t fulfill an order! She told us «her boss took the computer home so she didn’t have our order» uhhhmmmm what in the hell? Beyond angry. Never recommending or coming here again.

I love when you visit an establishment and the two people working the front are having a disagreement. I don’t speak the language, but I can tell when a woman is mad :)
We came in to get food to go. Changed our mind in 5 minutes and decided to stay in. It’s a good thing we didn’t wait longer because the food was done right then! I’m not sure how they do it, but they crank out some meals in a serious hurry! Now, don’t go in here thinking you are getting some high brow, fancy pants, decadent meal. You are getting Chinese-​ish food in a hurry at a very reasonable price.
It’s pretty good food. It’s hot. It’s fast. I’ll be back.

Wow! Really impressed by the wonton soup here. I haven’t ever experienced additional veggies, chicken (not wrapped), and shrimp with the pork wrapped wonton. I also ordered a sea same chicken which they cook extra crispy (yum!). All at a very good price!
I chose to dine in this time and was happy with all of the food we were served… And it was a lot of food! I would suggest splitting an entrée if there’s a party of two… Unless you want a ton of leftovers.
Keep in mind that this isn’t the fanciest Chinese restaurant that is in this town… But it’s really the food that matters in the end! They’re clean and super affordable. I order take out from here anytime I have a craving for some Chinese food. Would definitely recommend this place (and I have!)

Can’t say I tried the food… Walked in and stood at the counter for several minutes without even being acknowledged. The «workers» sat there in a booth watching TV, even made eye contact a few times but no one ever bothered to get up. Don’t know how this place stays in business when they completely ignore potential customers. Unbelievable!

I was looking for a convenient place for takeout or delivery and one time tried pickup of just soup and all was fine. We have it a try for dinner takeout and had some problems with the ordering process. That wouldn’t have earned a one star rating from me but the dinner certainly did. The sweet and sour pork and chicken dishes were barely edible. My son (who really enjoys s&s chicken) picked at his plate and ate two tiny pieces. The vegetable lo mein had very few veggies. On top of the sub standard food, the poor ordering process and the unfriendly staff at pickup the price was way too high. To my dismay it all wound up in the garbage. I hope they can get their act together. It would be great to have a reliable quick restaurant in the neighborhood. Better luck next time Asian Wok-​but you’ll have to try again on someone else.

Ordered online with the roomie for pickup, *spicy orange chicken and sesame chicken combos, $ 6.25! Heck of a deal, in n out in minutes of getting there. Everything was good and will return to try out more

The service at this place is terrible. We ordered food for delivery, and not only did it take an hour and 15 minutes to get to us the order was wrong. I called to let them know and the man on the phone was rude, and accusatory telling me we ordered it wrong. I said I wanted a refund and he said «good for you» …seriously awful service.

We ordered hot and sour soup, potstickers, crispy sesame beef, orange chicken, general chicken, steamed rice, and veggie fried rice. Everything tasted like it was made that morning and sat out all day. The soup was good but almost too hot for us. The orange chicken was okay but was over cooked. Potstickers were burnt. Crispy sesame beef was way too tough and nearly cremated not to mention an underlying fishy taste. General chicken was breaded and again over cooked. No one can mess up steamed rice. The veggie rice was okay too. Overall it was a poor experience and we will not be back.

I’ve been here a couple times, once for take out and twice for dine in. The food comes in generous portions, however it’s not very fresh and it tastes very mediocre. Their service is definitely not the best, as the staff is stubborn and not too friendly and the language barrier makes it hard to communicate. The first time I went I was waiting for a pretty long time before the staff finally decided to resume the conversation with each other to answer my questions in a slightly rude manner. Do not recommend this place.

The food was average for quick, fast Chinese food in Reno, not bad, not five star. The hot and sour soup was good. The sesame chicken was average as was the vegetable chow mien. We are not fans of the vegetable fried rice. All in all, if we want quick, fast Chinese food, we most likely will be back.

Asian Wok is as good as any other Chinese restraunt in Reno, or pretty much anywhere. I have come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as gourmet Chinese food so why pay the prices at Palace ‘D Jade for the same quality unless you think being treated rudey makes the food better. The people at Asian Wok are ALWAYS nice and friendly. the food is fresh and FAST. Granted we prefer take out but have on occasion eaten in and the service, while not 5 star, has never been rude or dismissive.

The food is pretty typical for a sit down/​quickserve chinese restaurant. Nothing is bad but nothing is out of this world. The staff is very friendly and the food is served quickly. The restaurant itself is a bit dated and plain but I wasn’t really expecting much to begin with.

Great for a lazy night when you don’t want to make dinner but also have a great cheap Chinese food. This is the place for that! We call in and by the time we get there the food is done, the staff is sweet and friendly and will give you your food just the way you order it.

I’m glad I found a decent Chinese restaurant close to me. The food is consistently good, and I get great service when I’m there. It’s really about the same as other Chinese places in terms of food taste and quality, nothing wrong with it, it’s consistent, but doesn’t blow me away. It’s a nice neighborhood joint to grab lunch on a busy weekday.
