After years of competitive equestrian sports, running, weight training i have issues with both hips. I was initially referred to Dr. Malcarney. I called the office and the staff said i would need to drop off any previous imaging to be reviewed by the dr. When i dropped off the imaging they said Dr. Malcarney doesnt do hips and they didnt know why someone told me she did. OK, i ask if there is another dr who does and they said there was. A week later i get a call from the office staff saying the other dr didnt want to take me as a patient because they couldnt offer a hip scope(which apparently i need). I explained that the imaging was only for one hip and i needed imaging and an exam on the other(not convinced its the same problem in both), they refused me as a patient for that and when i asked for a referral they acted as if i was totally wasting their time and told me to come pick up my imaging. They obviously have plenty of business but treating a customer who was referred to your office like complete shit is not good business practice. At the very second they knew they couldnt make money off of me they werent interested in giving me a second of their time.

If you can avoid this office, please do. They aren’t horrible. In fact, Dr. Grey is pretty dang good. But the office staff alone is a reason to run. I’ve been seeing Dr. Grey for many years and have greatly contributed to his kids college education after having both ACL’s replaced. After over a year and nothing wrong, I recently fractured my heel. It took me over a week to get in, and was treated like crap by the brand new office staff. When I did arrive, I saw that almost every nurse and office staff had been replaced. And they are horrid. Rude, condescending, un-caring, and just plain mean. I am now at nearly four weeks out and after my doctor diagnosed me and sent me for a CT scan, I have to wait a month to get back in. Um. a MONTH? I have a broken heel! I have no idea what to do next, how long I’m off of it, and depending on the final results, a plaster cast may be needed. But I have to wait a month. So my foot can get more screwed up? When I called to complain, I was told(very rudely) to accept it. Well, I don’t think so. I called another doctor, going in a few days, and they already have my scans in hand. They were caring, nice, and will even get me in earlier if they can because they said, «duh, you have a broken heel, and that should be taken care of immediately!»
