Mobile QB 63 Service Station

Spoke to Niko the manager on the phone. He told me to come in a half to get inspection at 1230 and then do them until 4. I get here around 2 and he tells me they aren’t doing auto inspections until Monday. Also, there was another customer right next to me who said he called and was told the same exact thing. Why lie to a potential customer.

DO NOT COME HERE for any repairs and not even for a NY inspection!!! I came here today trying to get an inspection and when I came in they told me it would take two hours… Since I lived walking distance and didn’t have plans for that amount of time, I agreed. 15 minutes later, they called me and told me I should come back and take a look because there was something wrong with my brakes. So I come back and they try to «show» me that my two front brake rotors were rusted. Note, I got new rotors and brake pads just about a year ago so I knew what corrosion to brake pads looked like. Mine were fine!!! So I disagreed to the repairs and they let me go without giving me a formal documented inspection even though they said my car was perfectly fine otherwise.
They tried to scam me into paying over $ 500 for repairs because they had nothing better to do. They do not have good customer service and are not ethical. They could care less if your car was perfectly fine, they’ll make up an excuse to charge you $$$. I would never come back here, not even to get gas.
Go to Sears auto center– they passed me with no problems whatsoever, as expected.

Very Shady!
Took my car here to get repaired based on AAA recommendations. I was quoted a price to repair my car double of what the dealership repaired my car for. You would think this would be the opposite situation as dealership prices are known to run higher. The mechanic actually told me «good luck having the dealership fix your car for the price I am offering you» When I told the mechanic I could not afford the repair price, he asked if I wanted to sell my car to him. I was also told by the AAA tow truck driver that this place is known to scam people and I would not walk out of the shop without $ 1500 bill. He was right! I am glad I had my car towed out of that shop and taken for a second opinion.
This is awful customer service and would never recommend anyone to get their car fixed here. They are out to scam people.

Amazing service, all the employees were very helpful and answered all of my questions. This was the best place I ever took my car to be fixed. Nick the manager of the work shop really helped me out with good advice on how to maintain and continuously service my car for a better drive. I will recommend this station to everyone I know and continuously take my car in.

Niko and the mechanics are honest and loyal to their regular customers. They have given me tons of great service for almost a decade now. If a repair problem recurs, they always make good on the warranty. Thanks to this station, my old car is still on the road and I haven’t needed to plunk down tens of thousand on a new model.
Go to this station, you won’t be disappointed.

Came in for inspection, was told by the manager that my both struts were leaking, and offered them replaced for half the dealership price. That smelled fishy, especially considering only 25,000 mileage. Took the car to another shop — no leakage. Not coming back.

Beware, this place is very shady. Stay Away!!!
I took my car here for a NY state inspection and they tried to rip me every way they thought possible. Little did they know, I actually know a thing or two about cars.
First off, they stated that I needed new brake pads even though mines were less then 2 months old and had less the 1,000 miles on them. When I argued for them to show me the current status of my brake pads they refused to let me in to the garage area.
Secondly, they tried push me into purchasing their line of windshield wipers ($ 40), stating that mines were not sufficient enough to clear rain while on the road. After exchanging words for 15 mins with the manager, I decided to purchase their windshield wipers with the condition that it can out perform mines. Their was clearly no difference when the mechanic did the comparison test with me in the car.
Lastly, they took out one of my license plate lights and tried to get me to buy one from them for $ 10 bucks. Luckily, I had one in the glove compartment so I didn’t have to buy one.
I ended up getting out with just a passed NY state inspection charge, but not without a good amount of arguing.
All I can say is «stay away from this place»
