I planned to try another restaurant nearby with my frd but it was full, so we picked this restaurant after looking at Unilocal… We were a bit scare because the restaurant was quite empty. There was no picture on the menu so we had a hard time choosing what to order. We ended up ordering the same Noah boat(it’s not really a boat though) that the next table was having. Lol It’s a pretty good deal, just $ 40 for the boat that you can see in the picture. And the owner recommended us something that’s not even on the menu. The white tuna sashimi is so yummy and the sushi that the owner recommended us taste good! Overall the quality of the sushi and sashimi is GREAT!

I’m not usually one to write negative reviews but I just have to share my experience here. My friend and I had gotten off early from work and ordered take out from this place since it was new and we wanted to try it ever since Chikurin closed. We got the Beef Teriyaki which came in a sandwich– like form and wasn’t that good. but I can’t compare an Asian restaurant to any of the American places for items like these. In addition to that, we ordered a couple of dim sum items like the shumai and much to our horror, we found a dead roach in our food… right underneath the shumai. COMPLETElY disgusted! As a restaurant, you should be double checking your orders and making sure your kitchen is as clean as possible. I don’t even want to imagine how bad and non sanitary their raw sashimi might be. This place might be inexpensive but it’s sure not very clean. Needless to say, we threw out our food and will never order from here again! There are other sushi restaurants surrounding the neighborhood that are hopefully a lot cleaner than this place is.

New restaurant in Forest Hills. Everything was fresh and service friendly and accommodating. The garlic seafood noodles, the salmon skin salad, the Japanese pancake were innovative and delicious. The Korean dishes such as the stone pot and bibimpap were imoeccable

The food here was AMAZING! My friend and I shared three special rolls(Couple’s Roll, Dawn, and Yuki) and the Seafood Garlic Udon. The sushi was so fresh I wanted more after eating three rolls. My favorite of the three were the Couple’s Roll and the Dawn. The Couple’s Roll had a crunchy texture while the Dawn was pure refreshing deliciousness. Yuki was great as well — you’d love it if you like spicy. Last but not least, the Seafood Garlic Udon was a cream-based noodle dish made with cooked salmon, shrimp, and scallops, different from the typical seafood combination. The portion seemed small at first glance but trust me, it’s enough to fill you. I was beyond stuffed. I would definitely recommend this place. P. S. Please bring this yumminess to Brooklyn!

This Japanese restaurant just opened and it was pretty empty while we were having dinner. The service and food were ok, but the portions were pretty small and the quality could be better comparing to other Japanese restaurants.

Food here are delicious! They also have yakitori. The cheese cake is the best, not to sweet, just perfect for my taste. If you love noodle like me, you should definitely try the Seafood Garlic Noodle.
