I’m happy that there is finally bubble tea in Redwood City! It’s a very small place(can’t fit more than like 8 people comfortably…) but the bubble tea is good. I didn’t adjust the sweetness level at all but I thought the tea was just right as it was. The tapioca was chewy as well.

Seriously great place. Although the board games smell alittle, the boba is to die for. Teens that work there are very nice.

The tea is still as great as it was under the previous owners of the shop. Unfortunately the service is much slower. Today was standing room only.

This place is surprisingly good ! The milk teas have good tea flavor and the crepes with Nutella and fruits are very yummy! The hot drinks are super hot, great for the chilly winter.

Glad to see more bubble tea places are popping up in Redwood City, and this one is the closest to my house so I’ll be back! The location is tiny and there isn’t much in terms of seating at all, but it’s located in the plaza that has a whole bunch of other useful stuff(i.e. CVS, Pet Food Express, Safeway, Caltrain) so by virtue of that, location’s a win. Also, because it’s in a shopping plaza, no need to deal with terrible roadside parking and having to walk 50 blocks to your destination. I got the Earl Grey milk bubble tea and the boba was spot on, and the tea was pretty good, not too sweet(although I had ordered it as 25% sweet, 25% ice — however, some places can’t even get that part straight). Takes credit, and also has a limited menu of crepes and ice cream. Only complaint was that service was kinda slow with an empty store at a late hour on a weeknight, which surprised me. Overall, will be back and glad to see them in business!

I tried their signature milk boba tea. You can’t go wrong with getting their top seller. The tapioca boba was soft and chewy just perfect. I have had overcooked tapioca before and it’s terrible. Would I go back here? Yes bc parking is way better than downtown San Mateo on B street

Great new, friendly boba place near downtown. Taiwan owned chain, allows you to adjust sugar level. Lots of topping choices.

I probably won’t be coming here regularly because of the calorie count in these sort of drinks but I came in because of a post card left on my card in the parking lot offering a special. I got the lavender with boba balls and it was pretty good! Maybe I’ll come back occasionally for a special treat but unfortunately I won’t be able to come in regularly. The space is small but they have a huge menu if there are particular drinks that you enjoy!

There was only one employee and no other customers were in the shop. As the guy was preparing the drinks, a lot more people came in. I heard him brewing the coffee so that was good for my co-worker. He really liked his drink, just a bit strong for him(but he doesn’t drink coffee too often). My drink, unfortunately was incorrect. On the menu, it states the ginger milk tea is hot only. So when I told him that it was supposed to be hot, he said, «No, there’s an option for cold.» I pointed to the paper menu on the count that stated«Hot Only» and said there’s no other options for ginger milk anywhere on the menu. All he said was«oh.» I really wanted a hot drink since it was a bit chilly today =(Since my lunch was almost over, I didn’t have time to wait another 30min for a drink and just left with the cold drink. Typically with cold drinks, I ask for less ice so I felt the drink was a bit watered down. The ginger flavor was good, but I’m pretty sure it would be even stronger if I had gotten hot. I’ll wait till they get more employees in and they know the menu better before going back. Credit Cards accepted Stamp Card: Buy 10 drinks, get one free

I’m so excited to have discovered boba near my new house in Woodside! I was in this plaza getting a haircut and noticed the Teatime sign. I eagerly checked Unilocal to see if this could(hopefully!) be a boba spot. While I’d planned on Starbucks post-haircut, I headed to Teatime instead. This little tea shop is small but has all of the boba essentials. I ordered the Lychee QQ drink which had boba and jelly. I rarely order jelly but decided to try it since I love lychee and the lychee jelly was delicious! I asked for half sweet and probably should have gone even less sweet but I still loved my drink. I believe it was $ 4.86 including tax($ 4.35 before) for a great boba treat! I asked for a punch card and hope to be back to get my 10 stamps and free boba drink soon!

Tea Time offers boba milk tea, various kinds of teas as well as ice cream. small corner space. little seating. has ambience of a closet. drink: earl gray milk tea(3.75) 16 oz.?. ordered less ice, less sugar(not an option actually) –watch server/cashier as he mixed drink while talking on cellphone. he was lost i.e. what to do?. –noticed he came up short on liquids,(less ice) so he added more«milk.» –little tea tasted, mostly milk and some aftertaste, probably frutose. drips: –generic syrupy boba teas probably ok. -«teas» premixed loaded with ice, milk, frutose, not natural not a good value

I decided to check out Tea Time with my friends, just to try if it was good or not. The tea was not that great. I asked for the oolong Milk Tea and it didn’t taste that good. My other two friends asked for the Black milk tea and Honeydew milk tea. After I drank it I had a really bad stomach ache which wasn’t very pleasant. My other two friends also had the same reaction which was a very bad stomache and going to the ladies room afterwards. Plus the cup is kind of simple and can easily break when you put the straw in so be careful :). The tea had this weird aftertaste. They also serve crepes which is interesting. The menu is colorful which makes you want to see what different teas they have. Even though I didn’t like the tea, the customer service was good. The lady working there was nice and helpful. It was also clean inside and there are seats outside too. I dont think me and my friends will be visiting Tea Time again because it made us really sick. I still prefer the Boba Bar though.

Pretty good little iced tea shop. The price is good, and the service is fast and polite. It’s a nice little corner shop. Too bad it’s kinda hidden away. Definitely will stop by again when I’m in the mood for milk tea or something. They also sell some Asian-style dessert and savory crepes — which I love. Normally, I can only get them in Japantown.
