Best fish tacos I’ve had! Grab 2 because after 1, you’ll want a second one! The place is always packed because the food is really good and they manage to keep the prices really affordable! No need to post more than that! It’s simple, great food, great staff, great prices. And I don’t work there by the way…

One of the best FISHTACO I have ever tried. I am yet to try other offerings on their menu BUT currently stuck with the yumminess of their fish taco. Order on the counter and food is served to your table via table number! Their house salad with grilled fish! Sooo good.

Wow, I didn’t know carne asada could be so tender! I’m glad I went with it! Their tacos are super simple but they really hit the spot. They’re small, so I’d order at least 3 for a full meal, but they’re also really cheap, especially for a food truck. I really want to try their chorizo but they’ve been out of it both times I’ve ordered from them. One day, hopefully!

At 1.50 for each taco, a decent lunch choice. I ordered a couple of the chicken tacos and the chicken was not what I was expecting… oddly sliced up which gave it a weird texture. Most of it was pretty lean though. Salsa was good. Next time I’ll definitely try the fish.

Got a vegetarian super burrito. I asked about hot sauce and he said it’d be on there. I didn’t taste anything. Actually, I tasted just bell pepper and black bean. There was more stuff on there though and I’m not a huge bell pepper fan so that could be why it was distracting me. It was ok, I guess. The cafeteria has a better one, I think. Didn’t taste any«layers» or that freshness factor I get from the burritos around here. Will probably try the truck again but get something else like the just bean and cheese burrito.

So Mi Sancho’s Taco Truck paid a last minute visit to Pillsbury-Palo Alto yesterday. They were a replacement for Road Dogs who faked on us. And since Sancho’s had to cancel their booking for next Tuesday. I figured they would be trying to redeem their Rep! Well… they showed up. They were scheduled to be here from 11:30am to 1:30pm. I had my mouth all watering and set for a Lengua Super Burrito. But at 1:05pm when I walked outside to get one, Mi Sancho was gone! Apparently he forgot about an appoint that he had to go to… and BOUNCED!!! Didn’t tell anyone he was leaving or anything. NOTCOOL! MAJORFAIL!!! YA’LLJUSTLOSTMAJORCOOLPOINTSWITHME! Considering it is nearly impossible to get ya’ll to come here more than once every other month as it is. REDEMPTIONISWARRANTED!!! SINCERELY, ANTOINETTE a.k.a. Ms. FOODTRUCKSTALKER

really yummy tacos for $ 1.50 each. Tacos have meat, raw onions, and cilantro served with a lemon wedge. I had the Carne Asada and Chicken and both were good. IMO, the asada is better than the chicken. My lunch mate had the burrito which was absolutely enormous. Fish taco was also a winner. This is really good street food. if you see the truck, get into line fast because people queue up quickly.

KILLER super nachos! Every time we see Sancho’s at Edgewood Eats, we have to get our two fave things: super nachos and carne asada tacos. Those two items are my favorite mexican food items and it makes me giddy to know that Sancho’s does both of them so well. Their carne asada is never dry or overcooked. Their fresh salsa is magnificent and perfect on both the tacos and nachos. I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to the super nachos. It literally has everything under the sun: salsa, avocado, cheese, beans, enchilada sauce and sour cream. However, unlike others I’ve tried, their’s isn’t just a bunch of stuff thrown together. Everything has its place and comes together in perfect nacho harmony. They use shredded mexican cheese instead of the standard neon orange nacho goop. I don’t know what else to say except for that you HAVE to try it for yourself. You’ll know what I mean as soon as you open that little to-go box and hear the chorus of food angels singing.

I think we all agree that Edgewood Eats is fabulous. There are a lot of options, you don’t have to cook or clean, and you can obtain dinner pretty inexpensively. Sort of. Other trucks have $ 16 lobster rolls or $ 7.50 noodles or $ 5 gelato. And the lines at most trucks have gotten out of hand. And then there’s Sancho’s. There is rarely a line, and maybe that scares people or maybe folks are looking for something flashier. So often when I try a trying-hard-to-be-haute truck, I look wistfully at Sancho’s and wish I’d gotten my usual al pastor. With $ 1.50 tacos that are served up hot, fast, and with the perfect amount of onion, cilantro, lime, and meat.

Sancho’s Taco truck is good!!. My company has had them cater with the truck — Making tacos, quesadillas, burritos or nachos on the spot. I had a Pastor quesadilla and will be having a burrito for din-din! =) Yumm…

Even though we’re from south san francisco and we have quite a few mexican trucks around my mom wanted to try all the trucks at edgewood eats so we got the fish taco and lengua(beef tongue). I thought the fish taco for $ 4 was a little pricey but it’s about 2.5x the size of a normal taco and it’s fish so when i saw it i was pleasantly surprised. The lengua was tender and good but what took the cake was the fish taco. The sauce on the fish was delicious and it tasted creamy and moist i could have eaten 3 more without a second thought.

Winner. Thanks Adam for sending us the best taco truck on the planet for our party. While I am a huge fan of their fish tacos, the carnitas were a big winner too among my guests. All you can eat tacos made a big hit(along with my margaritas). The taco truck is clean, the staff that arrived with it super nice and professional, and the food was a cut above your regular taco fare. Not that this surprised me — Sanchos Taqueria is no ordinary taco joint. High quality and reasonable prices are a hallmark of this restaurant. BTW, just reviewed their new place, ‘Patty Shack’. Same deelio — great quality at reasonable prices. Folks, we got a winner.

Sancho’s Taco Truck pulls up to our parking lot at work every now and then, and yesterday, I finally got in line with everyone else and tried it out. For $ 5, you can get a pretty hefty burrito(I had the pollo) that makes me wonder how devastatingly full the deluxe would make me feel. For the adventurous, they also offer the lengua, for a burrito that tastes you back.

Taco truck is good. My company has had them catering three times now — twice with the truck — and I’ve always enjoyed the food. As usual, you can get the Sancho’s specialty(fish tacos), but I’ve had their super burritos twice now and have liked it both times.

A long time ago, I wrote a bad review of Sancho’s on my personal website. It wasn’t unfair by any stretch of the imagination, but, in retrospect, I understand that I must have just gotten that 1 in a million bad experience. I took photographs of my bad experience which clearly showed what I was complaining about(I’ll spare you the details or the photos), but, none the less, I received a ton of emails telling me that they were amazed I’d had a bad experience. I’ve eaten at the Sancho’s restaurant in Redwood City several times since then and it’s always been great food made by some really nice people! At work today, we had a meeting about our health benefits. To prevent people from missing the meeting, we had the Sancho’s Taco Truck show up to feed everybody and give them an incentive to stick around. This time around, I got the fish tacos which were large and chock full of sauteed red snapper with cabbage, pico de gallo, and a zesty red sauce(probably crema with hot sauce mixed in). Yum! I could’ve eaten 2 or 3 orders! The last time they showed up a few weeks ago, I got a carnitas burrito which was also very tasty with no funny bits and a fresh, non-greasy flavor.

Sancho’s Taco truck came to our office, and I was pleasantly surprised. Truck is super clean, orders taken efficiently, and quick to to the window. I only ordered the carnitas tacos($ 1.5/each) but they were very good. Plentiful for a regular taco, and just the right amount of onion and cilantro. Nothing overpowered the carnitas and it was very enjoyable.

I have twice been involved with hiring the Sancho’s Taco Truck for charity events. Both times the Taco Truck was a huge hit, everyone loved it, and we had amazing, delicious food prepared on the spot for our party. The food is pretty much the same delicious fare served by Sancho’s two restaurants(Emerald Hills and Palo Alto), prepared in a beautiful, classic taco truck, gleaming with polished stainless steel. So, if you’re looking for a fun, crowd-pleasing way to provide catered food for your next event, I highly recommend the Sancho’s Taco Truck. Complete with the warm smell of carnitas, rising up through the air. Yum.

Every weekday morning at about 10am or so, I hear the Dukes of Hazard air horns signaling me that Sancho’s Taco Truck is here. Sudden aromas of Carne Asada and Carnitas fill the air. I’ve had my fair share of tacos off of «roach coaches», but Sancho’s is different. it’s clean, organized and doesn’t try to offer the world(i.e. egg rolls, french dip sandwiches, fried rice etc). It just does what it does best and that’s Mexican food. I highly recommend the crispy tacos. they are to die for!
