PCI Construction

It was a real pleasure to work with PCI construction on our house remodel in San Francisco. We were remodeling a kitchen (down to the studs), a bathroom and the basement family room.
Hamid and his team worked with us throughout the process, from planning to construction. Hamid was happy to work with our vision for the project, and offered very useful plans and suggestions. He builds houses for a living and he cares not only how they look (he is a perfectionist) but how they are lived in. The construction proceeded as planned. Hamid has a large crew so you don’t have to deal with subcontractors very much.
The crew kept the work space very clean. The work was done on time. Tino (the foreman) was extremely knowledgeable and also a perfectionist. If something was not up to par (always happens with any large construction project) he was always ready to make sure things were done to our satisfaction.
We have now lived in the remodeled space for almost 2 years and have been very happy with the work done.

I have nothing but good things to say about PCI construction. My wife and i purchased an older home (1941) in berkeley which was in dire need of updating. We were very lucky to find Hamid, PCI construction, and Tino (the foreman for our project) to help us turn the home into our perfect vision.
We had PCI construction remodel our kitchen, refinish or replace the entirety of the hardwood flooring, upgrade the plumbing to copper, upgrade the whole house electrical from knob and tube, run CAT-​5 and low voltage wiring throughout the home, replace some exterior doors, and paint the entire inside.
It was a big project, but everything was completed on schedule and expeditiously. We bought the home at the end of april, moved into the completed project by mid — july. No delays, no problems, no hassles.
From day one, Hamid and Tino worked with us to understand what we wanted in our remodel. They never said, «no» or «it can’t be done.» They always found a way to make our ideas reality. And they offered their own helpful and practical suggestions on how to improve on our ideas. Hamid frequently visited the home with us to go over the progress and ask questions about things we might want or not want. Every detail was attended to.
The men employed by PCI are top notch. Everyone was skilled, respectful, and friendly. They always took time to answer our questions and address any concerns we had. Tino is a gem. WHEN you decide to use PCI for your needs, see if Tino is available — he is a superb craftsman.
This was the first remodel for my wife and I and I have to say that it was a perfect experience. After speaking to so many people who had bad experiences with remodels, we anticipated having at least some minor problems — but we had none. We could not have asked for a better experience.
You need to consider PCI construction for any and all of your remodel or construction needs. We will definitely use Hamid, PCI, and hopefully Tino again for our future projects.

Working with PCI was a great experience. This was our first home purchase and neither my wife or myself had any experience in remodeling and more importantly working with contractors. We had heard a lot of horror stories so we were naturally nervous. Hamid, the key PCI principal, and his team helped guide us through the way making sure we maximized the money we spent by providing ideas on how we could improve our plans, achieve cost savings through various vendors and helped us think about our project for sustainability for the long term. We consistently have visitors come to our house asking if we used a designer which was not a luxury we had. We highly recommend the PCI team. They’re professional and good people.
