I’ve heard a lot of negative reviews about jib before trying it for the first time! But I gave a chance to it to test if I might like it or not! Honestly, it was the worst fastfood experience i ever had! Disgusting food with the lowest quality you can imagine!

I stopped going to this jib because they had messed up my orders many times(mostly missing items) at the drive thru. Also because they will often ask you to drive forward of the window because they want to help people behind you. This only happens at this location and I don’t think it’s efficient. Today my wife went and order two burger and fries. When she got home there were no fries, we looked at the receipts and they were charged.

Came in on a Wednesday morning for breakfast by myself, but a pretty big order for 5 people. Food: Order 5 biscuit breakfast sandwiches, 2 of them were bacon, 3 of them were sausages. Tasted ok, like any other fast food breakfast sandwich. Place: Small, At most maybe 10 tables, about 4 of them could seat 4 people, couple of counter top seats. There was a large flat screen TV, at the time they were showing Tosh.0 so presuming they have cable access. Service: For a fast food restaurant it was kind of slow to get our order, guess they were focused on getting the drive-thru first. There were only about 2 other orders ahead of me, and they did not seem to order a lot. There were 2 other orders after me and they seemed impatient as well since there order did not come out fast enough.

I went on a pretty strict low carb diet about a year ago. As a result I have been going to this particular JITB on my way to work daily and ordering 2 scrambled eggs and a sausage patty(400 calories, 0 carbs — fits perfectly in my diet!) The woman working the drive-through(Lillian) was an absolute joy. In fact I told two other women in my office who were on the same diet about this perfect breakfast served with a smile and pleasant conversation and they have been going daily for several months as well! Well, unfortunately, Lillian quit to move back to Mexico two weeks ago. Since she left I have experienced rude attitudes and arguments about whether they can prepare my food. Today I drove up to the drive-thru, placed my order and the attendant punched it in as a sausage croissant sandwich. I told her that she had my order wrong, but she said come to the window. Since there were other cars ahead of me, I knew that would mean I would have to wait some time so I restated that she had my order wrong, at which point she yelled at me «COMETOTHEWINDOW!» I actually did go to the window only because I knew from Lillian that with my receipt I would get a code for an online survey and I wanted to review this woman. After I got to the window I was informed that the owner had told them that they do not serve eggs, only sandwiches, and that I could not order eggs. She said that I had to order a sandwich and they would hold the bread and cheese and other sundry things. So in essence, I should order a sausage croissant sandwich, hold the bread and hold the cheese rather than 2 eggs and a sausage patty. Oh, and the difference in price was about a dollar, which of course I could eat. Well I personally have a problem paying an extra dollar for food I don’t eat, particularly when for over a year I have received receipts showing entries for«eggs» and«sausage patty.» Nor do I understand why they can prepare it and serve it(and their computer can charge correctly for it), but they can’t sell it! Nice way to make extra money owner! Do you get away with charging people for items they don’t get and saying«that’s the way we do it» often? I also assume that order this and hold this and that will result in many days where I do not get the correct order. Now I understand this is a «fast food» restaurant. But needless to say I will begin going to a different JITB since every other one(including one I pass about 5 minutes earlier on my drive to the office) is able to sell me what I want!

The food is the same as any Jack in the Box I’ve been to, and that’s fine. I’m not expecting anything amazing when ordering fast food. This review is targeted toward Ana, the manager working here on her Saturday morning shift. Ana seems like a person whose goal is to make her customers smile. I believe that all employees of food establishments should be this friendly. I am happy to have started my day off by eating here today!

I visit this JITB way more often than I should admit. Sometimes I just have a craving for curly fries, tacos, or bacon cheddar potato wedges. DON’T JUDGEME!!! At any rate, anytime I show up, JITB gets my order right, the customer service is a-okay, and I leave with exactly what I want when I want it. I have ZERO complaints.

Disclaimer: I hate fast food; after all, the reason they call it fast food is because you have to eat it fast, or else you might actually taste it! So, the following review may be colored by that perception, but… Jack in the Box is terrible. That’s really all there is to say. I used to come to it pretty regularly during college and shortly thereafter because the South Bay was just starved for late night dining options, and I really didn’t have much choice even as recently as five years ago. That said, things are greatly improving on this front, and I haven’t been to Jack in the Box since. To its credit, Jack in the Box does have a very friendly staff. Even in the context of driving through the restaurant, I’ve had their staff ask me about my life, and how I’m doing. They also seem to remember me very well from visit to visit, so kudos to Jack in the Box for finding people that represent them well. That said, the food is pretty bad, by and large, especially since they keep discontinuing all the items I actually like! I used to like their Chipotle Chicken Ciabatta. Canned. Then, I went for their mini-buffalo chick sandwiches. 86’ed. You know, with luck like that, I wouldn’t normally post the item that I currently order, except that it’s literally been a year since the last time I went to Jack in the Box, so I really don’t care if they remove it from the menu anymore! My current favorite is the deli meat trio, hold the pickles. It’s three deli meats and cheese. It’s salami, ham, turkey, provolone cheese, all bathed in a creamy Italian dressing. That one is pretty edible, so if you’re like me and you hate fast food, but need something to order, it may not be the worst option in the world. That said, it’s certainly not enough to get me to return to Jack in the Box on my own accord!

They remember me, and my preferences, as I go there on a weekly basis for breakfast. Great restaurant, basically not fast food, better.
