All I go for is the dipped cones. They are the best and cannot be topped. I would not buy their meals they don’t appeal to me but keep giving me that Ice cream. The banana split is great to share and the cashiers are always smiling. I have had a great time here.

I admit, I had never been to a DQ. I saw the commercial for the Flame Thrower and had to try one. It’s actually pretty darn good. Not sure if it’s worth $ 10 (I got a double), but they made it from scratch right in front of me. There are a few $ 5 lunch combos, so I’ll definitely be back to try one of those.

DIPPED CHOCOLATE CONES! Yes! Reminds me of McDonalds chocotops back in Indonesia. Inside is Vanilla, outside is a crunchy chocolate crust. UUUHHH SO GOOD!

Went here and saw a customer bring in an extra burger and fries she got in her bag she did not order but was charged and given. So the Chinese guy who I presume is the owner takes the burger and fries back to the cook and tells him to something extra low then the cook takes the burger patty out and seems to slide it in the next customer’s burger and what do you know save’s the rest of what was there for my burger. give’s me my burger with cheese after I asked for no cheese then tries to take it back and continue the reuse ritual by trying to scrape the cheese off my patty with the already soggy material from the customer who returned her burger earlier. I finally say you better make my burger fresh but did not want to get out of line since children were present.. I called DQ headquarters and filed a complaint wonder if I should call health inspector.. Beware I will not be back!!! I lived in redwood city my whole life this is a landmark but not anymore.

The place closes at 9pm we got there at 8:50. The girl at the front started taking our order at 8:58 because she was doing something else scooping ice cream or something. So when we got up to order we order a cheeseburger and a chicken sandwich to which she said, «I think the kitchen is closed.» Ummm well maybe if you would have taken our order when we first got there or let us know when we walked in. Luckily we got food so I’m giving them 3 stars because it was also really good. But if the kitchen is closed maybe you should inform us upon entering.

Believe it or not, DQ has some of the best tasting burgers. Also, the Blizzard, the Blizzard!!! Very good. If you’re not looking for your average McD’s ice cream cone, but a step up with more options, DQ. :D

Personally I’m not a fan of soft serve ice cream, but I do enjoy their chicken strips, fries, and occasionally their mushroom burger. I was a little taken back by the price of a Blizzard though– $ 5.44 w/​tax for a small?! Whoa. Other than that, this place makes the kids happy and it’s walking distance from our house.

When did an ice cream outing mean I needed to take out a second on my mortgage?!
Came tonight to console my Giants fan daughter and we enjoyed our supreme caloric treats but we’re shocked to see that for the two of us we spent nearly $ 11. Now I don’t know what the average person expects for ice cream these days, but I can tell you that for $ 11 I can buy 5 gallons of ice cream at Costco.
Ok, with that off my chest I can say the competitor McFlurry from unnamed fast food chain can’t hold a candle to the delicious candy/​chocolate/​creamy/​heaven that DQ somehow delivers.
Don’t worry we’ll be back. Just not as often…

This place is the friendliest fast food place I’ve ever been to. The speed of service is fine, nothing exceptional, but the staff — and particularly the owner — are so friendly and welcoming. The owner recognizes just about everyone who comes in (including yours truly), and is enthusiastic about serving his customers. I love coming here

I felt dirty as a «healthy» person being here. But sometimes life calls for a chocolate dipped cone. YUMMYYY. I wanted all of the sundays but that will have to wait for another day. Service was nice. I ordered something to take home and the girl waited until I was ready to leave to make it.

stopped in again to DQ on the way back from burritos.
got a mixed vanilla chocolate cone of dipped awesome. this is the stuff of DQ.
i got a medium size and ate it outside, it was just about to break away the chocolate as i got down to that perfect level of cone safety, a few drips on my white t-​shirt, badge of honor.
the crew in there is sweet, respecful, damn cheery. even when I had to use the bathroom (which is convienently located outside, though get the key because the door self-​locks) the guy was like, here ya go sir, enjoy! (haha, worth a laugh)
of course I’ll be back again. DQ gets better and better.
Here’s a parking tip. go in the first (east side) driveway and park there. sneak around the back of the building on the way out and pop out the west driveway.

DQ is a tradition in my family, plain and simple. I’ve been eating the chocolate-​dipped soft-​serve cones for as long as I can remember!
This Redwood City DQ is sadly one of the few left in my area; but their ice cream is just as good as always. :) I’ve only ever had their desserts, so I can’t speak to their actual food offerings, but DQ is certainly a classic!

This biz has it’s sown 5 – 6 car parking on the side. It’s a busy street but we found parking right in front :)
