Danielle Fletcher Photography

Danielle Fletcher is a great photographer. I admire and respect her talent as well as her eye for artistry. I was very pleased with my pictures, however I will say that although she is great at what she does, I was very disappointed at her costumer service skills. I felt that since I was paying a pretty fair amount of money for my photos that I would at least get the service I deserved. I took my pictures on March 29^th and it took her almost 3 months to get my pictures. The contract doesn’t state any dates or how long it will take to get them. It would be great if she can changed that. I also thought it was very unprofessional how my e-​mails to her were just non existent. Before the shoot she was very responsive but once I took my photos it was as though I wasn’t her client any longer.

I found danielle through some rec on the knot, and we decided to set up a marathon session with her, I was in charge =)
Well, Danielle gave great direction and I felt really comfortable infront of her. She has high energy and I didn’t feel self concious around her at all.
THe images were amazing had I had a really hard time choosing which ones I wanted edited.
She lost a star though, because her communication was really bad. I felt like I was hounding her for the images a few times. At one point, she promised me that I would receive the images by the first of the month, but when I hadn’t gotten them by the 19^th of the month, I emailed her, then received them on the 23^rd. I was really dissapointed with this, but I was the only one on the knot that has these issues.
If you have time to wait, want great images, and don’t mind being patient Danielle might be a good option for you

Danielle has a creative eye and has a lot of fresh ideas. Her studio has lots of great props and set ups… although I haven’t seen it since she’s moved it from the garage. She makes you feel relaxed and confident even while standing around half naked… that’s a talent in itself!
I loved the quality of the pictures that I received. Danielle is definitelya star photographer as far as style.
I took two stars off because my biggest frustration was getting my pictures. I took my pictures the week before Thanksgiving and received the the last week of February. That’s 14 weeks to edit and print about 20 pictures! Communication through this time was pretty much non-​existent. I missed giving them to my husband for his birthday, Christmas, and Valentines Day.
I set up a marathon with Danielle so I saved quite a bit of money on my boudoir session… if I would have paid more and received the same poor customer service I would have given her one, maybe two stars.

I did a boudoir shoot with Danielle as a gift for my fiancé. She was so professional and fun, and really made me feel comfortable. Danielle works with Sarah Hyde for hair and makeup, and she did an AWESOME job. I was blown away when I got my pictures back, and the quality of the leather album was great too. My guy actually cried when he got it. Worth every penny!

So I wanted a great birthday present for my husband and what better gift than sexy pictures of his wife! I went to Danielle’s studio in Petaluma where she has a bunch of different sets to choose from. I know she also offers to do photo shoots in hotel rooms, but then you are limited to just one room. During the shoot Danielle made me feel really comfortable the entire time and she was very professional. I never once felt awkward even though I was standing there half naked. The only downfall to her studio is that if you have to change in her house, you have to walk from the house to the garage where the studio is. Her backyard is open to all of her neighbors so there is a pretty good chance that some of her neighbors saw me walking around in my thigh-​highs! oh well. I wasn’t too worried about it.
As promised the proofs were done in exactly 3 weeks. Her website has improved since I first looked at them. I had a hard time comparing one photo to the next because you couldn’t look at them side by side. I think you can now though. Just a note when picking out your favorites: Make sure you write down the photo numbers on a piece of paper as you are going through them. The website does not save which ones you like as soon as you close the window. Danielle ended up taking over 250 images of me, so its a lot to go through especially when they are ALL great!
Once I gave Danielle the numbers that I liked, we went back only a couple times with editing (i.e. changing some from black and white back to color or changing orientation, etc) the album was at my door within the promised 3 weeks. I was so excited when I got my album I was seriously checking the front door every 15 minutes waiting for the mailman! I didn’t even wrap it up, I just gave it to my husband with a huge grin! :) He obviously was VERY happy to get his gift. He looks at it on a regular basis.
Danielle was able to make me look so hot without looking slutty at all. Every image was very tasteful and classy. She was also open to any ideas that I had about shots that I know my husband would like. Overall, I had a great time and I am REALLY happy with what I got. I think she is a great value for the money.

Danielle recently shot my boudoir photos at her studio. (They’re bedroom-​style photos that I’m giving to my husband as a gift.) I used 3 of her sets for the shoot. She has many great ones to choose from that each create a different style and feel. She has some good examples on her website. Danielle was extremely nice and made me feel very comfortable while still remaining professional. When you’re barely covered (or aren’t at all) having a photographer who makes you feel comfortable and confident is very important. Even though I thought I’d be nervous, I ended up having a ton of fun and really enjoying the experience. Talk about feeling like a model for the day!
The result of the photos were wonderful! I am so pleased with how they came out. My hubby is going to have a tough time narrowing down the selection for the album! :)
