George is a Subject Matter Expert when it comes to repairs. Had a lens drop out of my glasses. Took it into George. He had it fixed in a matter of minutes. He is absolutely the best. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately my prescription changed, so I required lenses with a stronger power but didn’t need the added cost of a new frame and George said that was fine! He put the new lenses in my old frame and even spruced them up a bit while I waited. I think he gave me a bit of a deal on the anti-​glare option too! I love being able to support small local businesses, and I’m glad George and «My Optical Shop» is available in our community.
I definately recommend George for all your Optical needs.

I wanted «Dark» prescription sunglasses and no one could provide that for me.
I searched high and low… in the South Bay. Finally, I got a referral to go see
George at My Optical Shop.
What a find!
I walked in and asked about getting Very Dark Lenses for the Frames I already had.
George’s answer… no problem!
I loved that answer.
He gave me knowledgeable advice on all aspects, and the best part…
he took the time to answer all my questions.
He cuts the lenses there, so you are getting custom work, and he was cheaper than LensCrafters.
I received incredible service from beginning to end.
Thank you George for all the help, you were wonderful! I will definitely come back.

I’ve been using George for something like 10 or more years now. He always goes all the way to make sure your glasses are just right for you. He gives great advice on all aspects and offers gentle suggestions as to style. He cuts the lenses there and also offers free or low-​cost repairs, depending.
His prices are fair. I mean very fair. Do yourself a favor and patronize a single-​proprietor business while there are a few left.
