A little piece of tranquility by the sea. Conveniently situated for easy access to all arriving by foot, by car, or even by plane(just 15) minutes from LAX. Relax and enjoy the ocean breeze;take a stroll thru winding and scenic walkways. Just right for all ages. Pick up your morning fix or settle for an afternoon BBQ. Perfect day.

This is the kind of park that is grassy and does NOT have any play equipment for the children. It is more suited for just sitting and having a picnic or enjoying the view. Or, for children to freely run around in. At the top of the park, there is a concrete round area where you can view the ocean or sit and enjoy the breeze. My husband knows where the good places to park and where the easy(easier) access areas are. We don’t like to pay for parking and would rather walk a little further so we can spend our money on what we might want while at the pier. So, we usually park across the street and walk down to the pier using the walkways through this park. There is a Redondo City Walks sign in this park, so the walkway is a tiny stretch of the walk. There are trees and a bench here. There is one tree which I love, it is unique. This park is seemingly always well maintained. Since there isn’t really much to this park, there’s not much to say. BUT, I do love walking through it to get to the pier. It’s the quietest and most serene time you’ll have before and after being at the pier full of people!

This is a cute little park with beautiful views of the marina and ocean. No dogs allowed but I still see dogs just about every time I come here. What does redondo beach have against dogs in their parks? From this park you have easy access to the pier or the bike path. Nice little hill which is fun on the way down, not as much fun on the way back up. Great place to sit, relax and soak up the sun.

It’s a nice park to cut through to get to the pier. There is a fun hill for rolling or sliding down. I’d give it more stars, however I think it’s absurd that dogs are not allowed. Redondo Beach has got to be the most unfriendly city to dogs and their owners, ever. Tons of people walk their dogs here every day anyway. I don’t anymore, after being harassed and threatened about it last year — although I suppose I should be thankful that a woman walking her dog through a park is the worst of our city’s problems, right?

Was walking my leashed dog along the perimeter of this park and was fined $ 266.00. I live in the blue buildings adjacent to this park and was simply trying to get into my gate. I was shocked to be fined such an extraordinary amount. Municipal Code states that the penalty for having a dog inside the park is $ 50.00; however, it seems apparent that they change the amount when the city needs money. If you’re looking for beautiful sights and atmosphere drive a little ways to Palos Verdes. Don’t waste your time here.

This park makes a nice refuge for me as it overlooks Redondo Harbor and is right near my place. You can spend a sunny sunday afternoon laying on the lawn or sitting in the circular sitting area near the entrance. My favorite thing to do here is bust out my acoustic guitar and play late at night. The park is surrounded by condos and apartments but no one ever seems to care about acoustic guitar noise. Officially closes at 8:30PM but if you keep quiet you can get a nice view of the evening stars from this park. I’d give it five stars but they don’t allow fires in the park.

This park connects to Redondo Pier It’s lovely at any time of year There’s a cool overlook With seating, where you could read a book Nice big shade trees, thick soft grass To lure you in every time you pass It’s 2 acres, not a huge space I posted 17 photos of the place Walk the path down to the harbor, facing blue ocean & blue sky Colorful banners on the boardwalk, silent sailboats drifting by An oceanfront park is a joy indeed On a summer morning, it’s all I need
