Was super excited to try this place but they closed 30 min early. Online and on the door it says it closes at 8:00PM but it was closed at 7:30, major disappointment ! We saw the workers inside too! Not impressed.

I went at dinner, they appeared to be short staffed because it took five minutes for the proprietor to notice me. She took my order for a chicken bowl, but then informed me that there was no chicken available. Wut? At a teriyaki joint? Okaaay… well how about a kalbi bowl then? Fine. I order and she goes in to the back. Two more customers show up, they wait forever too before they get their orders in. Their orders come out before mine. Then mine comes out like 15 minutes after theirs, wut? Beef is thin, over cooked, and grisly like it came from tendons, not ribs. Gross. I hardly ever have to comment on Unilocal, but this was truly disappointing. Maybe it’s better at lunch.

An amazing hidden treasure! I am a little bit of a foodie but, I am never that compelled to write a review. me; I am too lazy, lol. I am from San Francisco and given the plethora of Asian food, I am spoiled with Japanese food and I love it! My bf and I pulled up to this place without checking Unilocal because we were in a rush, thinking«guess this place will do». The chicken was tenderized and marinaded in a homemade teriyaki sauce. The shrimp tempura was large and crispy with fresh deveined shrimp. And the portions were huge especially for the price. For real it was so cheap! That wasn’t the only shockingly outstanding thing about this place because my crunch roll was. Seriously it was better than some fancy 5 star restaurants in San Francisco. My advice… TRYIT!

Yassssss! This is probably my go-to place for lunch. I only live a few blocks away from this location and I gotta say I enjoy their take out as much as I enjoy sitting in to eat there. The lady there has such great customer service and they are always quick to get the order out to you. She’s the sweetest, she even gave me a small Money Tree plant she had there after I asked for a root to take home. What a sweetheart! For meals we always get the: *KOREANBBQ Bento Box: Boneless Korean BBQ, Salad, 4 pcs California Sushi Rolls, Tempura, and Rice *CHICKENTERIYAKI Plate: Chicken Teriyaki, Salad, Tempura, and Rice and both are always so filling! As the duchess of this location ;o) I recommend it!

Very good customer service and pretty fast service. They’ve got Korean and Japanese food here. Chicken udon is very good, have yet to try the calamari and japchae noodles but definitely on the next visit.

Bento Asian Kitchen is a small, clean, casual restaurant in a discreet strip mall. They specialize in «bento boxes» for $ 5.95, which include two pieces of California rolls, bread, salad, rice and an generously sized entrée. It’s not gourmet food, but it’s consistently good, and wonderfully cheap. If you’re on a budget and want a quick take-out option, this is a great option! There are enough options to keep it interesting(for fish, try the Shioyaki; for meat, try the chicken katsu or beef teriyaki), and the portions are huge for just one person, so I would have to stretch the portions out to two meals. I’ve also probably tried ten different items off the menu here, and all of them were just as tasty as the next.

This is a slightly above average place for quick lunch box(and that’s why it’s named bento). The wait can be quite long so be warned.

This place has a fast-food vibe to it, which is not the best vibe for a place that serves sushi. They have a very limited selection. I ended up ordering the spicy tuna roll, and only ate 3 of 8 pieces. The rice consistency was way off and there was way too much masago on the outside of the roll. I didn’t like the roll at all. I also ordered the edamame, which was not cooked enough! However, what saved this place and gave it the three stars was the korean bbq bento box. My brother ordered it and the meat was delicious. The sushi that came with it still wasn’t appetizing but the meat was great, and the tempura was okay. Overall, I think you can find better food for the price you pay here, and a better dining experience(I didn’t really like the inside of the store). I would potentially recommend this for a bento box if it ends up being really convenient. Definitely do not come here for sushi.

I’ve been here countless items more after I have written my review and I would like to say that the food is very deliciously consistent. The people that run the place are very friendly. The Chicken Katsu Bento Box is a personal favorite, and the Garlic Chicken one too. I’ve also tried the Calamari and it is just as delicious. This place is always empty, so no waiting :).

I really like the food here — great value, and I feel like they really care about making their food well. Very large quantities, and great variety. But the(owner?) lady does kind of scare me — she says«no» a lot. Can I order a side of Chinese broccoli? «NO»… ok, haha, don’t take my money. Overall, great take out place, we will be back.

The food options are vast. I’ve been here a few times and have been happy with each choice. I’ve tried the katsu curry spaghetti. I was curious if it would go well together and it did. I’ve also had the teriyaki chicken bento box and the garlic chicken bento. Both were really good. I personally liked the garlic chicken better and will probably order this as my go to. They also have specials during the week that are cash only so bring cash if you’re interested.

Really good for takeout. Very clean, tables to sit at, friendly service. We ordered: Korean BBQ Bento box, Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box, Garlic Chicken Bento box, which include, meat/chicken, rice, green salad, 2 shrimp tempura or gyoza and 4 pieces California roll. Also ordered, Spicy chicken special with California roll and Tempura(vegetables only I don’t like shrimp, potato, zucchini, onion and squash) plate. Everyone agreed it was really good and a lot of food for the money. They also have udon and ramen which I think I will try next time.

The first time here and I had spicy pork belly bowl to go. When I walked in to the store, I was like why is it so dark inside. But the food there is good. The sauces are special and perfect match with rice. But maybe because of taking it out, the rice stick together and didn’t seem like fresh rice.

I’ve driven by this place countless times but never tried it until today. The teriyaki plate was filling but not too heavy and included a small bowl of miso soup. Fast, freshly prepared, and reasonably priced. I would, and will, go back. Note: the prices on the menu that is taped to the window are outdated. Prices have gone up.

I heard about this place from my brother. He said it was good size for a good price. I decided to try out this place. I came here around 12 and it is not that busy since it is lunch time right now. I went inside and it has few specials and many items on the menu. They have different types of bowls, plates, bento dishes, noodle dishes and different types of rolls. I ordered the steak plate. It came out to be 7.95. She also asked if I wanted a water cup. She was very kind. I waited for about 10 mins for the food. The did is good except that the steak is basically well done and it is hard to chew. I will have to come back to try out the grilled chicken.
