Beach Nail Care

My pedicure lasted a month. Can’t beat that! I didn’t have to wait long at all, especially considering I was a walk-​in.

My mom has been going to Mimi at Beach Nails for years. One day I saw she had the most beautiful gel French manicure. She told me she had gotten them done two weeks prior (yet they were still so shiny and looked pristine). She told me the French tip gels along with manicure was under $ 35…I made appt for later that week. It is a quant, clean nail salon with 4 nice massage chairs. Mimi and Linda work there and they are all about quality. Mimi is very meticulous but the time it takes is worth it because the gels and reg manicures/​pedicures last longer than anywhere else I’ve been to. I get comments on my nails at least 4 times a week and the people ask me for the salon’s phone number after I tell them how inexpensive they are!

1^st let me say i ONLY came here because Fantasy Nails were closed. HUGE MISTAKE! Based on the Unilocal rating of beach nail care I would not have come here otherwise.
The only two ladies working there were both very rude. I was APPAULED at the customer service. I received THEE worst treatment here. I went in expecting to leave contented with cute nails yet I left irritated and incredibly insecure about my nails. The whole ordeal was pretty unbelievable.
Why was I treated this way, you may ask. Simply because I told her she was shaping my nails wrong. She got upset, tried to fix it, ruined it again, and her anger intensified. WHY BE MAD AT ME BECAUSE OF YOUR OWN INCOMPETENCE???
The reason this situation is so disappointing is because I’m a nice customer. I told her about the mistake in a calm, rational fashion. She was all but rational.

Speak English — especially when you are discussing how much tip you did or did not receive. The inclination and tone of your voice tells the real story. Not nice to do this over customers getting serviced.

Any place where my manicure can go for over two weeks is a winner in my book! In fact, a month later the manicure still looks pretty good aside from the fact that my nails have now grown (but the bulk of the polish is still there).
I took my mom here during Christmas break for some mom/​daughter holiday bonding. We went here for a mani/​pedi. Manicures are $ 10 and pedicures are $ 15. I love that they have OPI and China Glaze nail polish! They have a wide selection of different colors! They also have gel polish.
The place is kinda small (4 chairs for folks getting pedicures). I loved the chairs however because they are massage chairs. You get a free chair massage as you are getting your pedicure. How awesome is that!
They don’t have too many folks working here. There were initially two when we came and then another lady came later on. They have good service though and are fairly friendly.
Aside from manicures and pedicures; they also offer some other services like lip and eyebrow waxing. They are $ 6 and $ 8 respectively.
Overall I liked this place! I love, love, love that a month later the majority of my nail polish on my hands is still there! Yay for long lasting manicures! My pedicure looks awesome still too! I think this will be my new go-​to place for a mani/​pedi.

This place is never crowded and they do a fantastic job. Linda’s manicures have lasted a full week without chipping — a rarity! The inside isn’t the most updated and it is small but it is very clean.
The staff is very friendly and they take their time to give you a great manicure.

The staff is super friendly and they have great specials Mon-​Wed. Mani/​pedis are only $ 20.00. I went there for the first time yesterday and was really happy with the results. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because their massage chairs are a bit old and they only had 2 chairs available for pedicures. You may want to make an appointment.
