Refused to seat our party of 8, even with 3 visibly open tables. Waitress wasn’t even polite about. Sorry I wanted to try a new place with my 2 kids and our friends from out of town.

This is my favorite brew pub in town. The food is amazing and the beer is delicious. The service is top notch — always in a good mood, always very attentive. The prices are reasonable and you receive plenty of food and drink for the investment. Cheers!

The place touts itself as «Oregon’s Smallest Commercial Brewery» — which is kinda odd thing to be proud of, to my way of thinking. Damned by faint praise or no, the Brewer makes some awesome beers. The Hefeweizen sets itself above most in Central Oregon, and his oatmeal stout is no slouch. His Scottish Ale is very quaffable. The menu is mostly comfort food, done up well. Poutine with beef gravy, house cut French fries, hand breaded onion rings — you get the idea. Great burgers and sandwiches fill out the rest of the menu. Most of the food seems locally sourced. The service is attentive and friendly. The location is hidden on the edge of a residential area. Worth going out of your way for. All this place needs to go from 4 stars to five is a couple of steaks on the menu.

My family moved to Redmond about a month ago. This is our go to spot. You already see all the amazing reviews, so I won’t go into detail about their amazing array of fried veggies and great beers. I got a bratwurst corndog here, where can you get something like that? This place is our favorite spot in Redmond and we are slowly becoming regulars(it will help when I have a better income to be able to go here more often). Great food, amazing beer, super friendly service and a giant free sticker(if you ask for it!). They also have badass looking growlers that are reasonably priced. It is our first and only growler!

Delicious food and the onion rings are to die for. I do wish they were open on Sundays though.

Perfect meal to wrap up a day of hiking with just Jill. I moved to Redmond this summer and have finally found my favorite burger spot… Smith Rock Brewing. I ordered the Gorgonzola with onion rings and I was very satisfied. The service was a bit slow, but the company was good. Next time I’d like to try outside dining. I will definitely also come back with my kiddos because I noticed a reasonable kids menu, plus a hummus plate which they love. I highly recommend this spot!

Meh. This place was ok. The waitress was very nice. The food was less nice. I had the caprese burger and the caprese was good but the burger was kind of tough even though it was medium rare. The bun was very good. The onion rings were awful. Way too much breading. I wish it had been a tempura batter and not such a thick heavy batter. My cousin had the Mac and cheese. It was good but it was super cheesy, like too cheesy. I probably won’t go back…

*Exceedingly generous portions* Fab ale/libations selection. Tasty smoked pork and beef. Salt was very overbearing in each menu item we selected(loaded fries app., beef & cheese sandwich, onion rings(breading), works burger, fries). An excellent choice if you want a true feast with your ale and have no issues with all the salt. We’ll give it a second try in about 6 months to see if anything has changed.

I took the family here today. Service started out bad with the original waitress saying no tables we’re available outside… but she would check. She went out 2x and never came back to offer a table. Our main waitress was much better and seated us outside immediately. Onion rings… sorry couldn’t taste them over the over cooked breading. We were really diaappinted. I had the mac and cheese with chicken… yuck. didn’t make it half way thru. Hummus plate was dry but ok. Kids food was ok. Beer was good. I would have given it a 2 star but the second waitress was much better and friendly. Unfortunately it will be some time before we come back.

The Best lunch in Redmond. I have never tasted better onion rings. It is a family recipe and they are incredible. They have a nice beer selection but their best beer is their Scottish ale.

I hate to say it but I was honestly a bit disappointed in this place. As we walked in I was loving the Forest Service themed atmosphere. My group overruled me and we sat inside(outside is very cool inside leaves something to be desired in my opinion). I ordered the popper burger which was supposed to be spicy but the amount of cream cheese piled on top canceled out evidence of jalapeños. I ended up scraping off some cream cheese which did improve the meal a little. The staff was very friendly and that always gets a star from me. Our waitress was also very attentive which was great.

Perfect place for a burger and a beer after a hike at Smith Rock. Super impressed with their extensive menu and love that each entrée comes with French fries or onion rings(which are amazing). They have a good selection of beer and a great patio out back. Service wasn’t the best, but the food made up for it.

Husband and I are here from Orange County, CA for a holiday fly fishing trip. He is a HUGEIPA drinker and me… not so much. But the reviews of the food looked great, so we hopped in a cab. Now that we are here, we each had the AMAZING onion rings and great beer. Turns out I’m a Hard Cider fan. And the Pear Bear Cider is awesome! Husband had the house IPA and is a fan. We may just come back before we head back to Cali! Great service! Quality Food! Cozy bar! It’s a must visit if you are in Redmond.

Not impressed. Food was just decent. The service was slow and unpleasant. The server never bothered to check back to see how the food was, never asked if we wanted another drink, etc. To bad this was the second time we had been there. Hoped that the food and service had improved. No such luck. Will spend our money elsewhere.

We went for an early dinner. We ordered: — Western burger w/union rings — Hearty Chili — Kids corndog w/fries Everything was hot & so yummy! The burger wasn’t huge(which I’m glad, it was perfect size!) The bun was so fresh & it had great BBQ sauce. The onion rings were tasty & crunchy. The chili was good too! My son loved his corndog & fries! Right when we walked in they looked a tad busy. The waitress let us know they were short staffed & to bear with them. Honestly, it didn’t seem like they were short staffed. They girls worked hard & made our experience great! Kudos!
