Red Martini Wine Bar & Grill

Absolutely Fantastic. Just as good if not better than any restaurant in Portland. Drinks are amazing and the food is unbelievable. If you’re in Redmond and love excellent food and service the Red Martini you have to stop in here. I had a business meeting here and had a great time. We ended up talking, eating, and sipping drinks for 3 hours.

My wife and I ordered a drink and the shrimp cocktail. The shrimp cocktail sauce was horrible. The cook stared at us the whole time and the bartender made a comment that he could hear us talking. Don’t really understand that. It has a couple tables. The place is very small. Sorry we were talking! We didn’t know it was a library. After our 2^nd drink he brought the bill and said thanks for coming. That is basically telling us to leave. My wife and I are older respectable members of this town and cannot believe we were treated that way. This place is ridiculous. It’s for old stuffy grouchy people that want to just sit and be quite. We spend alot of money in this town and the Red Martini will never get any of ours or anyone we know again. You are a waste of space.

What a fun little restaurant this is. Lots of red, from the love seats and a table for four, to the bistro tables, and the old movies being projected high on one of the walls. The drinks were great; good white house wine, ginger martini, their «red martini» and a Moscow mule. All of the plates offered were small, but the portion size of our order was perfect. A special that night was a stuffed pork loin, which was very good. The king salmon on a bed of green rice, and the huge prawns were terrific. The Red Martini Wine Bar and Grill is well worth a visit.

Had a wonderful time with friends this evening. Food, beverages, and atmosphere was fantastic! Had the «and to all a good night» cocktail which was both flavorful and aromatic. Highly recommend it! The prawn cocktail app was ample and satisfying, as was the Italian meatballs and polenta main course. Loved the banana bread pudding especially when paired with the Argentina malbec Cabernet. Will be back for afternoon happy hour this Tuesday. If you haven’t been here yet you are missing a great treat.

I have always enjoyed introducing my friends to this little jewel in downtown Redmond. Our service, drinks and food have always been fabulous. However this past Saturday evening was a disappointing experience. I had reserved the red sofa seating area for 4 pm for 3 friends and myself, who hadn’t spent time together in over 10 years plus. We had a couple cocktails and appetizers each when we were approached by our sever giving us a heads up that another party had reserved the table at 6 and we would need to move tables. We were shocked to say the least. We do not begrudge our sever, Cara, who was gracious but being mature business women that live in the area, we felt that this policy greatly lacks good customer service. Not sure if we’ll recommend this establishment to our friends in the future. Too bad as it was a classy and fun place to meet with friends.

Very interesting menu, superb food, yummy cocktails and stellar service! I love dining/​drinking here with friends! Last week, we had so much fun with our bartender/​server! I wish I could remember her name… a great excuse to go back!

Great choice for a lovely and decadent meal. The salmon entrée and a cucumber Rosemary gin&tonic are a heavenly combo!
Helpful and attentive, Mr. bartender told me the banana brioche pudding with French vanilla ice cream could not be lived without, that it would be the best thing I have ever eaten. So I am now relishing every bite of its decadence.

Listen up Central Oregon, the best place to have lunch is called the Red Martini in Redmond Oregon. Matthew and Justin will grace you with the best customer service and food which is prepared for a king or queen. The drinks are fabulous to say the least and the food is exquisite and priced accordingly. At the Red Martini you get to experience a great atmosphere, fabulous customer service, and food that takes Central Oregon to another level without over-​the-​top pricing. Don’t forget to take in the movie which is playing on the wall. I can’t wait to go back and have dinner here. Thank you Redmond Oregon for having such a wonderful hidden gem. Thank you Red Martini for being the jewel that you are. You have a winning combination even the food channel needs to know about.

This is the place in Redmond. Better have reservations or get in early. Quality of the quisine is excellent and the prices are right. Forget any place in town if you have a discerning palate.

Nice atmosphere with red linen tablecloths (white paper napkins?)
Croissant sandwiches were excellent
Service was attentive though during a rush maybe not so much.

This was our 5^th or 6^th visit and I still have yet to be disappointed. They are always consistently exceptional. Food is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The drinks are to die for! I try a new one each time and I have yet to have a flavor that turns me off. Never too sweet, which is my most common complaint about new-​age martinis and infusions. Usually, I have their bison burger, which is AM-​AZ-​ING!!! It is not even the least bit gamey and they will cook it rare if you request. Tonight, I had the special, halibut cheeks with red pepper couscous. Excellent. These people know what they are doing! Keep up the good work… now, if Redmond could only support later hours for my night owl personality…;)

Great date night place. We’ve been several times; for a meal or for drinks and dessert after a sushi dinner next door. The charcuterie and fromagerie plates are great appetizers. Except for a disappointing coconut shrimp ‘bisque’ one evening the food has always been great. Very good service, which is all the more exceptional for being in central Oregon where restaurants seem to compete for some kind of ‘obnoxiously inattentive servers’ award.

Was flying in from Seattle and wanted to meet my wife nearby for a nice dinner, so I took to Unilocal and found the Red Martini Wine Bar & Grill. I texted her to meet me there at 8PM. Imagine my surprise when I arrived and found her waiting out front with a big closed sign on the door — despite the Unilocal hours showing a 9PM close! As we were walking away, another couple was arriving to experience a similar disappointment. I suggest that anybody not desiring to waste their time go elsewhere — I know we (and the people we speak to) will.

Had the wedge salad and prosciutto wrapped pork tenderloin.
Loved the blue cheese on the salad and the pork tenderloin melted in your mouth.
Will definitely be back.

Nice ambience, good food. Alcoholic drinks are great, wasn’t fond of the virgin drinks but that’s not what most people come here for. Definitely has a classy, romantic feel and a lot of personality.
We came the day after Christmas and they were packed, and somehow my reservation got lost, but they handled it well and got me a take anyway. Despite being the only one on the floor the waiter was always super friendly and nice, even after we had to send back the (virgin) hot chocolate. They really needed more people working but they probably weren’t expecting it to be so busy, and everyone who was working was wonderful.
Pricey, definitely makes a good treat.

My folks had tried this place with their group right after it opened and raved about it.
We came and tried some of the martinis. They were very good! We had the hummus appetizer which was tasty. My dad had the linguini with cream sauce and it tasted so good! I had the pork tenderloins with pomegranate glaze. The pork was tender and not dry. I don’t normally care for sweet potatoes, but the SP hash made a believer out of me :-)
Definitely would recommend going here and I will come back.
