We were seated right away by a nice staff. I had the steak burrito which was HUGE and delicious!

The food was amazing. The service was good and great drinks! Prices were more but the quality was worth it.

We’ve been to Mad’s now many times, breakfast, lunch or dinner, you cannot go wrong. I like their prices, they seem very fair in these days of rising prices everywhere. But the service and the food is why we go. Service is always good, cheerful, friendly and reasonably fast. They don’t leave you there waiting wondering if they’ve forgotten you. The food is, to me, the best Mexican food I’ve had in a very long time. Their Red Chili Colorado burritos are to die for, for me, I can’t get enough of them. My wife loves the chili verde a lot. We’ve had friends go there with us and they liked it a lot, too. Some of them have had some of the American dishes which were also very good. Why Redmond has so many good places to eat is beyond me. Oh and their restaurant health rating is superb.

Two visits to this restaurant with excellent food & service both times. We only had breakfast. Great omelette, French toast, bacon & Monte Cristo. Wish we were going to be here longer so we could try additional menu items.

I’m from Fresno California, where there are Mexican restaurants then all the others combined. That being said, this place has the most authentic Mexican I’ve tried since I’ve been in Oregon. Great food, top notch service. Other then them being out of the 3 rotating local beers on Tap, everything was on point. Would definitely recommend it!

I have been visiting Redmond for the last 25 years. I was seated immediately and was greeted with chips, water, and salsa. The waiter promptly took my order and even though there was a large crowd, I was served quickly enough.
I ordered the chicken taco and beef enchilada combo. It was a little to greasy for my taste. The meat had little flavor. I had to dig through a mound of lettuce to find my enchilada! I actually like Mazatlan better for food and atmosphere.

Very decent food at a good price. Excellent service. Sometimes lezs than good, but usually satisfying.

Great experience, Manuell was our server. I had the Steak loco burrito and my companion had chicken enchiladas. They bring tortilla chips and salsa to start, the chips were thick and homemade, not the typical Sysco stuff. The salsa has good flavor with plenty of cilantro, tomato and onions in it.
My burrito was very large and had tons of perfectly cooked steak tips in it for only $ 14. I couldn’t eat it all but I performed a burrito-​ectomy to get to the steak :-)
I’d come back, but I live about 2720 miles away.

I really like eating here. Always a good meal. Service can be hit and miss, but has gotten much better lately. The gentleman who does the bussing and chip and salsa distribution is the hardest working man I have ever seen. Give him a raise. We eat here a couple times a month and is easily the best food option in Redmond. We have only eaten here for dinner but, like I said, the food here is really good.

The customer service was spectacular. We were seated in a great time for 4 although they were certainly busy on a Monday night.
If I were to ding them at all it would be the 25 minutes to get our meal. They were busy so I didnt. BUT by then I was stuffed with chips salsa and drink and only ate half my meal.
However the customer service, smiling and attentive waitress still gives it 5 stars above that. My rating everyone at the table agrees with this post. We had Mexican and American food.

Very few restaurants do American, Mexican and Italian food and get all of them tight. This one is the exception. Best food in Redmond at family friendly prices and the great service is an added bonus.

Good food, but a bit overpriced for the area.
Service was a little slow, but it was very busy the night my husband and I stopped in for a bite. Multiple large parties were taking up much of our section’s server’s time, but we still managed to get our drinks refilled occasionally.
I would love to say that my fajitas were excellent for the $ 20+ ticket price, but they were just average. My husband had no real comment on his food but he ate it all so it was acceptable.
Not bad, but be ready to spend a little more than you’d like.

Very good location excellent menu and great staff. Be sure to ask for the beer menu. We had traditional Mexican food but they have lots of items you don’t see often enough. The pricing is quite unique, like items are priced the same not priced separately. Recommended by our hotel,

Service was lacking. Prices were on the higher end given ambiance. It’s an out dated décor. Beer was good but 5 dollars a glass and the glasses were small. Food was decent though.

Have wanted to try this place for a long time. Had heard it was great. It wasn’t.
Got there at 4:45pm on a Wednesday afternoon. Only a few people there so I expected to have a nice experience. The waiter seemed bothered to answer questions about the menu and was not friendly, cordial at best. Then service was very slow and food was mediocre at best.
Chalk this one up as a two-fer…First time/​last time.

Great staff. Great food. A must!!! The chips & salsa was good. The Margarita’s were excellent. I had the tortilla soup it was great & Seafood Jumbila was good. I recommend!!!

This is a great place if you like Mexican food I like it and will bring my family here.

I’ve lived in Central Oregon longer than this restaurant has been in business. When it opened it was rather good and worth the cost. After not visiting for a few years we went for a friends birthday last night. It was a Friday night and we waited about 10 minutes to be seated-​no big deal.
Once we sat down we were given chips and salsa. The salsa was very spicy and the chips were hard and stale. I ordered the guacamole fresco ($ 10!) and was hoping they would bring fresher chips with it. Although they did bring warm chips the guacamole was horrible. It was so salty that we weren’t even able to taste the veggies. I let our waiter know and he took it to the back to «fix» it. When it returned all he had done was folded another avocado into the bowl. It was still too salty and we refused the dish. There had to be enough salt in there for 4 – 5 fresco plates.
When they finally got around to taking our order someone at the table wanted a nice steak. The waiter said they were out of this cut (on a Friday night?!) and he could offer them the $ 30 T-​bone with no discount. She ordered the 32oz plate medium rare and thought she could take some home. When it came out it was still raw in the middle and all of the veggies were undercooked as well. The waiter took a look and agreed it was blue inside. He took it to the back and has them cook a whole new steak. When it came out it was much closer to medium rare.
When we got our check there was no discount on the steak and no apologies made. My friend asked to talk to the manager and he argued with her about the temperature of her first steak and how it was just fine.
Needless to say… We will never be back.

Their food is amazing. The salsa is awesome. I asked for some hotter stuff and they delivered in a huge way!
Try their combos. Lots of food and all very good!
You will not be disappointed. I wish we had one in the Portland area as well.
The staff is friendly, attentive and fast.

Wow. I over ordered. Decide what you want. Order HALF. Food is great. Loved the chimichanga, enchilada and taco plate. Hubby loved his choices as well!!! Paid thirteen a plate. You can’t beat that for three items!!!
