best experience, I ever had, Ismalss is so nice, professional and responsable, he works by appoinment only.

The most horrible customer experience one could ever find on earth. First thing, which I ignored initially is that the guy doesn’t understand your language (English) and needs an interpreter for same ! So do we need to undersand him !
Secondly, I got root touch up done — when he started applying I felt his hands and gesture is rude, he didn’t handle the hair properly. Also, whenever I asked for any accessory to protect my ears or anything he would frown.(i wasn’t too worried about it) The product he used felt itchy to me near the neck area (not sure why but i got color done before as well where i never felt this itchiness)
After he applied, he took me to wash the hair which he finished in 10 mins itself. I have long hair and its not pssible to be done so quickly.
After the was done with drying the hair, i got up to check the coloring.
What i find is a gray hair minimally colored and its very visible. So i asked him to cut that one out.
Then I scrolled all over my hair and find that all the gray was still gray !!! I mean hardly any color worked.
And when I gave him this feedback, he got furious and started an awful argument.
His language was below any standards for a customer — all I did was told him that not all are colored, may be we should have left it for a little long time ! Since my hair color, wash and blow dry was done all in 1hr, considering the long hair.
He was warning me that he would call up police and drag the matter there !
Has no respect for customers, all he works for is money and his cheap attitude put me really off ! I am afraid if i was not a girl he would have slapped me he went that wild !
I would recommend everyone to not go to him for a little cheap price that he might offer ! Trust me he is not a professional and doesn’t even know his work properly.

I was spoiled as a child growing up with an uncle that owned a very well known salon on Broadway in Seattle. Then, my sister worked for Aveda for years and cared for my hair. After they moved away I was left without someone that knew how to deal with my hair. So I settled – Hairmasters, Great Cuts, Etc!!!
I met a woman while on vacation in Santa Barbara that did a great job, but I couldn’t convince her to fly to me once a month.
Anyhow, Ismael is awesome! I started going to him about a year ago, and now my whole family (five of us) have our hair done by him. I have even been stopped in a restaurant by a mom in the area asking where my kids have their hair cut.
I recommend him to all of my friends.

Ismael knows how to style a man’s hair to his liking. If you don’t know what you want he will figure it out. True barber.

I’ve been going to Ismael for over two years now, and I absolutely love his work! He takes a whole person approach to styling hair, accenting your personality and personal features for the best look. I completely trust his expert guidance and experience. and when I do know exactly what I want he delivers three-​fold!
Price is very reasonable — I’ve been to a few other ‘upscale’ salons in the area and have paid out of my nose for a haircut that was butchered and the stylist clearly not an artist. Ismael is more than fair in his pricing for the incredible service and outcome you receive.
Ismael will do everything to make sure hat you are 100% satisfied with your do. I have no hesitation recommending Ismael.

Watch out when you go in with a deal find vouchers. I bought one for 2 haircuts, first he charged me $ 35 instead of $ 25 for longer hair which the offer clearly stated. For the 2^nd haircut, I made an appointment for my daughter. As soon as I got home, he texted me and said that I will have to pay full price for my daughter’s hair. He also wanted to charge 2 of my friends $ 150 extra on top of the voucher. He is a liar and a is only after your money.

My mistake was to mention a dealfind coupon on 2 cuts to book my appointment. I went in on a weekday at 2. I was offered tea and I was basically made to sit with the hair mask that I was supposed to get for about an hr. I was fine with the deep conditioning as I got a manicure and pedi while waiting. The lady who does that is absolutely amazing so no complaints there.
I got a scalp massage from Benajmin which was not firm so I thought he was just washing my hair or something in ‘cold’ water. After that was done I was lead to the chair for Ismalss to cut my hair. I told him I wanted less volume but in short layers at the same time maintaining my original length, so that whether my hair was curly or straight it would be manageable without having to style it. I wanted it to look less voluminous when curly. He twisted my hair into 5 partitions and cut it from bottom up, vacuumed a lot of hair out and said your cut is done. I was like seriously? It wasn’t a 30 min cut like the lady in one of the reviews mentioned but it took him all of 5 mins to cut the 5 sections and call it done.
I thought stylists need to measure and frame ur face to make sure they cut it the right length on both sides on layers. Then he kinda half heartedly blow dried my hair and gave it a curl at the end and said «This is a cut to suit curly hair». I asked him to give me some angled bands and he said it wont suit my curly hair but did it half heartedly. I asked him if he would blow dry it straight so i could see if it was a cut that would suit me and he said he’d have to charge me an extra 35 bucks to do that. When I asked him about getting partial highlights in the front he quoted an extra 35 for long hair so I skipped on that. Whatever products he used to set my hair, I was allergic and my scalp was itching that day. When I got home my husband commented that it looked like the worst cut I ever got. I had to wash my hair to get rid of the products and lo and behold once I towel dried my hair was super voluminous around my face and completely uneven. I was cringing. I had lost my curls in the end and the ends just looked terrible and like I had split ends or something from a razor cut. I tried straightening it out and that didn’t help either coz the terrible random uneven cut looked more obvious. I finally ended up going to a different salon to get my layers fixed. This might be a good place for ppl who have straight hair to get a cut but not for curly haired people.
I’d also like to say that I had a dealfind for two haircuts and this guy refused to honor my second appointment by sending me on a wild goose chase after dealfind for not sending his payments. The voucher expired and I couldn’t use it. I would stay away from this stylist just for the terrible experience and customer service.

I’ve received a couple of haircuts from Ismallss, one in October and another recently in December. I heard about this place from a voucher deal. My first time here I booked an appointment for a haircut. When I first arrived I got to learn a little about Ismalss and Benjamin, his assistant, and they even made tea for me. Ismalss did a great job the first time around, and he gave me what he called a «Kat Von D» haircut based on the description of what I wanted. It didn’t feel any lighter, but he got all my split ends, so I was pretty satisfied. Ismalss and Benjaminwere really helpful and talked my hair the whole way. In fact, they threw in a free haircut for next time if I was willing to come in to do a video shoot for an ad for their salon, which I gladly accepted.
So this time around a couple days ago I came in for a video shoot and my free hair cut. As Ismalss was cutting my hair, he had done some twisty thing to it and cut my layers using a technique I had only seen the first time he cut my hair but never seen it prior to that. All I can see was hair flying everywhere, and I was secretly flipping out in my chair! The videographer even made a comment that I looked tortured. I touched my hair and it felt like I had a lot less hair. When all was said and done and Ismalss finished styling my hair I looked in the mirror to see that my hair was only cut about an inch and felt a lot more manageable and voluminous. I hate getting haircuts and usually only go to cut off split ends and get trims, but I must say this was the best haircut I ever got. I had to sit in fear for 30 minutes while I was getting it, but it was well worth the wait. He showed me a straightversion of my hair, a curly version, and even did an up-​do for me. All within 10 minutes! Ismalss and Benjamin are always so kind and courteous to me and treat me like I’m their #1 customer. I think the face-​to-​face interaction helps because the very first time I called them back in September, the lady on the phone was a bit unknowledgeable.
I really do highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something different. Ismalss really listens and pay attention to what you want and delivers and Benjamin is great support. My hair looks and feels so much healthier now, and I’m so glad I came in again. Plus this place is clean, and I’ve never had an issue with parking.

Loved the Hair Cut given by Ismalss. This is the best hair cut i have ever got in years! I loved all the advice he gave and the hair color he recommened was tooo good. It is exactly what i had in mind. Now I know where I’m gonna get my hair cut from now on!
I must mention the hospitallity that these guys offer. Wonderfull people. Awesome job. and i got amazing hair cut with nice scalp massage!
