Great fresh south of the border food. Prices are a little high, but probably because food is high quality. Very casual bc you order at front and then seat yourself. Condiment bar was great

The original ooba tooba; and far better quality than the other ones . Is it going to be the salmon burrito, or the skirt steak taco plate? Either way prepare for deliciousness. Bland but tasty white rice and black beans. Chips and guacamole is ridiculous in price but worth trying.

I came here for the first time with my friend to try something new. And I was satisfied with the food and the customer service. My friend and I had burrito in a bow and a chicken quesadilla. We both shared each other’s food. One thing that grabbed my attention was the veggies. It had zucchini and other and it was sour, which I love!!! Warning if you don’t like sour food, you might be disappointed ;). The quesadillas was full of cheese, which drove me crazy(in a good way) :-P I forgot to buy my soda, sense I don’t drink soda very often, so when I went back to buy it they just told me to get it for free. I was not expecting it at all. What a nice gesture. Those kind of act makes such a difference.(Heart) PROS Best burrito Large menu Very nice staff Great location to find parking Outside seats Self service table of spices, veggies, and salsa. LOVEIT!!! CONS It is expensive The restaurant was not very clean Beans is not the best. It seemed/tasted like a canned bean(I don’t think it is though). I will definitely come back here to get the burrito in a bow steak again.

Food was really tasty but it was kind of expensive! I got 2 pork tacos with rice and beans and it was close to $ 15. It was good pork and well flavored and the salsa bar was great! I love being able to try all the different salsas. I ended up liking all of them and just rotated when eating the salsas with my tortilla chips. It was pretty busy at lunch time but the food came out quickly. I would definitely go back next time I am in town and try some different options. Very friendly staff as well.

This place was good. I really like the salsa bar and that they had a seating area outside where you can sit with your pets. The food was fine,(wish they had Spanish rice) but the Margarita was amazing! The people who work there are very friendly, we will be back!

Meh. Can’t justify a $ 17 taco platter. No matter how fresh, and tasty it is. It’s like getting a taco in Disneyland, without the Disneyland. I don’t see no Space Mountain nearby, okay? The only way I’ll cough up this much for something so basic is at a theme park. It’s tasty and all but let’s not forget, these are tacos. Three stars for the taste but minus two stars for the unreasonable prices.

Just happened to drive by this place so I stopped. There isn’t much good Mexican on the east side, but this place delivers with fresh ingredients and low key atmosphere. We tried the red chile pork burrito, a mojito and the tostada salad. Chicken on the salad was delicious and the burrito was good – especially the rice inside. They have a full salsa bar and are kid friendly which is great because the matador isn’t.

This place is very good! I usually get the potato quesadilla which comes with a side of chips. There is a salad bar set up full of salsas for everyone. Their margaritas are also good and they have some outdoor seating. The guys working here are super friendly and quick, too. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!

Stopped by for a mid afternoon snack after a visit to the dog park with our pup… perfect out door seating area on a hot day so we didn’t have to leave our dog outside all alone… service was almost too fast… by the time I paid and got back to my seat with sides they were already there with our chicken tacos… the salsa bar was well maintained and had some great options and everything was definitely tasty and fresh… the food was very good for the price and I definitely loved the option to get the glass bottle coke made with real sugar… overall if you’re looking for some good«tex-mex» in the Redmond area this is a must visit…

A chain without the chainey feel. Ooba’s food is high quality, loaded with flavor, they serve alcohol, and their condiment(salsa!!) station is the best I’ve ever had. Their prices on some days seem too high, and on others I can deal with it(depends on what I’m ordering). Love their nachos, their tacos, their outdoor seating where my pup can sit beside me and soak up some rays.

I watched American Pickers and wondered who would pay the premium for some old signs, number plates and similar antiquity stuff. If you are like me, visit this place(they have unique décor and I mean it in a good way). Here are few great things about this place: 1. Fresh Salsa(they have an entire bar), pineapple salsa is wonderful. 2. Decent food, not super cheap or expensive but tummy filling quantity. You get free chips and can grab as much salsa as you want from the bar. 3. On a quiet street and outdoor seating options so on sunny days, great place for lunch. Plenty of parking around. Hate that it closes so early in evenings. 4. Multiple items for vegetarians(well, meat lovers like it too as per other reviews) The only complaint I have is some items are served on paper in the plastic tray where the paper gets soggy. I am little fussy as I fear that I will end up eating paper — please start serving everything in the dish and you can have your 5th star.

Loved this place — the host there gave us free chips for being first timers. The Pineapple salsa was delectable, and so was the medium salsa. So wonderful that the salsas are self-serve! I ordered the potato quesadilla, which was absurdly delicious. Simple, but tasty — the chipotle sour cream or mayonnaise(couldn’t discern which it was), added a super flavorful burst with each bite. Definitely worth stopping in to try.

Awesome! Fast, fresh, friendly. Great food, casual, family friendly. The rice has a touch of fennel. True, not everyone likes it but my family loved it.

Consistent and tasty, food never disappoints. Energetic and customer focused staff, with a great atmosphere. My go-to place when looking for great food without all the fuss and wait of a wait staff. Only problem is I can’t stop eating the chips! I love this place!

I have probably eaten here 30 times as it is close to my work. Great food, it gets busy around the lunch hour but they never disappoint. If I were to say one negative thing it would be that their portions are big. A bit too much for lunch. Others would probably disagree with me though. Their salsa bar is excellent. The habanero salsa is a bit hot for me but their del dia is about right they have others also to choose from.

Ooba Tooba is a place I frequently go for lunch. They’re fast. I am usually in and out within 4 minutes. Chicken Burrito is really good. It’s a little pricey — at $ 9.40(with some chips that come with it, and some salsa from the salsa bar). It has a creamy, light texture because it is loaded with chicken, guac, sour cream, cilantro lime rice, and pinto beans. Add some habanero salsa, and it’s pretty killer. Sometimes I wish it was a little smaller, though… because I am usually stuffed until dinner(but I can’t complain on those days when I skip breakfast). Salsa: I always get the habanero salsa. It’s the spiciest(but it isn’t painfully hot) and it has some really good flavors. I highly recommend this if you are into fresh, Americanized Mexican food.

Here’s the sad truth of my life: I have been forced to eat burritos several times a week for years on end. Why? My kid eats them, and at times, precious little else. Since there’s no 12-step recovery program for Mexi-holics, I’ve had to resort to trying every Mexican place I can find in an effort to add some variety to our takeout menu. This is where Ooba Tooba comes in. Salmon burrito? I had no idea such a thing existed, anywhere, but it does at Ooba Tooba, and more than that, it’s crazy good: marinated grilled salmon, seasoned rice, spicy sauce. I shouldn’t eat the whole thing — it’s huge! — but I do, every time. The restaurant itself isn’t much to speak of. You order at the counter and wait for the food at a table. You can eat in or do takeout, which I usually do. The restaurant itself is nice enough, with vintage NEHI signs and license plates on the walls. They have games for the kids to entertain themselves, Tetris and so on. There’s a salsa bar for your chips. Plenty of seating and street parking the times I’ve been there. Prices are a little high relative to other burrito joints, but I don’t think high for the quality. You won’t need dessert after one of the burritos, but have the churro bites anyway.
