Great breakfast and great lunch. We stop in every chance we get. The country gravy is the bomb!

nope. ordered chicken fried steak, eggs and hashbrowns EVERYTHING tasted the same and that was bland, breading mushy, toast mushy, eggs not cooked to order, hash just bleh, honestly couldn’t distinguish the foods from one another. the gravy was ok I can see if you just smothered all the food in that you wouldn’t really know or care . also took longgggggg time to get food.

This is an unassuming location with super friendly service! Excellent brunch! Best hash browns and biscuits and gravy, said my husband and son. My 10 year old daughter loved the clam chowder. Most dishes are made with locally sourced fresh, and natural food. We’ll be back to try dinner next time!

Excellent breakfast! Just had basic(eggs bacon hash browns toast) but it was delicious. All locally sourced foods and made fresh. He’s starting dinner soon and it sounds like we will have to try next time we’re here. Good food, good prices and friendly people. Will definitely stop by next time we are here :)

This is such a great little find. Wonderful home style cooking and no skimping on the portion size. Come hungry and enjoy.

We were traveling through Redmond and decided(based on other Unilocal reviews) to try the Cozy Café. We had the berry nut extravaganza salad, and it was fantastic! Everything was fresh, lots of toppings, very good price, and the owner is great. Plus you get a homemade cookie for dessert. Highly recommend!

I liked the Cosy Café’ well enough. The food was good, *for the price*. Not gourmet, or sophisticated. I’d call it it more along the lines of comfort food. Hot & hearty. The soup was delicious. Thick enough, homemade. Good flavor. Not too salty even though it had chunks of bacon in it. The chicken sandwich was good, not great. The bread was delicious, the rest of it was a little bland and for crying out loud, please throw that cheese away and find something that doesn’t taste like goo. Homemade cookies were brought out after the meal. Delicious, they added a nice touch. This appears to be a mom and pop affair so the wait is a little longer and that was fine. If I’d wanted fast food i’d have gone to Sonic. The hamburgers here are delicious. I’ll be back. Edit: I’ve been back. Eh. The clam chowder was barely edible. He called it ‘loaded’. Loaded alright… with salt, bacon and cheese. So much cheese(he even puts this huge wad of fried cheese in it) that I couldn’t taste the clams. I won’t order that again. Bottom line: This café’ likes heavier(ok greasy) salty food so eater beware.

Great food!!! Breakfast was done to order and the weekend staff was helpful and very friendly. The restaurant is truly cozy but clean and welcoming. The owner works most days by himself but he makes sure that the food is done right and what more can you ask of a restaurant? We will definitely be back and recommend this as a stop for anyone looking for a great home cooked meal(that you don’t have to cook yourself!).

This new café in Redmond definitely lives up to its name. One of the smallest restaurants I’ve visited in quite some time. Two booths, two tables and a few stools at a counter inside. A couple tables are located under a canopy outside along the busy 6th Avenue. I visited on a Monday because one of my local favorites, Christie’s Kitchen, is closed that day. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience. I’m not sure if this is typical, but on the morning I visited it was a one-man operation. So the cook was also the server and cashier. That meant there was a LONG wait to:(1) place an order,(2) receive the food and(3) pay the bill. While having a server would make a world of difference, I am not sure there is space for another person to wander through the restaurant. But, because the kitchen is in a separate room, not an open kitchen facing the diners, you couldn’t flag down or communicate with the cook until he came out. I actually got off easy because I arrived after another party, so I was grouped together with their order. The people arriving before and after I did had longer waits. My order, biscuits and gravy, came out as ordered. The cook actually mixed up the orders of the two other tables, so the folks that came in before I did had a more significant wait and saw two parties who arrived later, served before they were. The food was fine and the gravy had thick pieces of sausage, but it wasn’t special enough to make up for the atmosphere or service issues. The biscuits were also on the dry side. Prices are also average for the area, so not a cheap alternative and the menu for both breakfast and lunch is limited. In short, my favorite breakfast places in town remain the same: Original Pancake House, Christie’s Kitchen and 3 Doors Down.

We had an amazing breakfast. Service was great, fast and around $ 10 per person. Well worth a second visit. Had the Denver omelette. Very tasty. Definitely worth coming back.
