Came in on a Monday around 5 pm What was ordered:(1) 1 item plate with tri tip with Mac n cheese and chili(2) 2 item plate with tri tip and brisket with sweet potato fries and potato salad(3) chicken tender plate with French fries All items were less than $ 15 The tri tip was a generous amount with a flavorful rub on it. The brisket was okay but the tri tip was the favorite meat choice. The chicken tenders are huge. They have about five or 6 barbecue sauces to choose from. A way to add great variety to your meal. Favorite thing: the cornbread with honey butter. It comes with the meat plates. Really good. Would come back!

Stopped by today with the family thought we’d give them a chance to redeem themselves from the horrible service we experienced months ago… But today was even worse, we were never greeted by the cashier his first words were«for here»? after ordering and getting my receipt i said«thank you» he answers with«sure thing» really? ughh. They brought out one plate out of the 4 that we ordered and waited 10 minutes for the other plates. While we waited the waitress went to 3 different tables where people had been sitting before us and she was asking them what they had ordered! They didn’t forget to charge them but they never even started the order? This was the worst experience we have had eating out, we will never return here. I believe that if their service was better they would get a lot more customers.

This review is for their traveling setup. They were at the Temecula Balloon and Wine fest. Ordered the Pig Boy(or something). Oversauced. Pulled pork was slightly undercooked on the inside. Looks like to me they were pulling as they served or rushed it or something. Coleslaw was blah. I know what you’re saying… its coleslaw. But I’ve had it down south(GA, NC, SC) and you can get some awesome BBQ slaw that compliments the pork. Guy on the register overcharged me and a few other people right in front of my eyes. So his math skills were lacking(that’s what I want to believe anyway). Somehow he convinced himself that $ 10 + $ 2 when given a $ 20 deserved $ 6 in change back. I literally argued with him about it until I gave up. And let him keep the extra $ 2 as he rushed me away. The guy behind me had $ 22 in his hands because what he ordered was $ 15 + $ 7 but was somehow charged $ 25. And he too paid it like a chump too.(No there wasn’t tax on any of the items). Again. Could be a mistake. Benefit of the doubt I guess. But the two stars goes to the pork.

So this is my first review, and I sort of feel it’s an obligation due to the pity service. Being in the area we came across Mill Creek on Unilocal as the top location for BBQ. I must say food quality is good, but the service was by far the worse. I’ve traveled worldwide and checked into multiple restaurants from Brazil to Dubai. I have to say the service by the cashier here was by far the worse experience I’ve ever encountered anywhere. The cashier not only lack customer service skills but had not tack ability to engage in an order transaction with a customer. I will certainly not be coming back to this place ever again, not because of the food but because the people who are the face of the restaurant, what a pity.

Went thru drive thru. Ordered the tour and a brisket sandwich. I sat in front of drive thru window for 10 minutes and didn’t even get a hello! I was the only car in the drive thru. They must not care too much about customers so I left… They’re either short handed or just plain don’t care…

I don’t live in the area but I was driving to the casinos and found this restaurant on Unilocal.I got a smokehouse omelette with brisket. It was wonderful. It came with hash browns or tator tots, fruit and your choice of beverage — all for $ 6.99! I would have paid $ 5 more and not batted an eye. The prices– especially for breakfast, are a real bargain :) I opted for brisket, grilled onions and cheese. It was one of the tastiest omeletes I’ve had in a long time. The brisket was fantastic and I would love to have it as a meal on its own. The service was really great and the restaurant is run by a family who takes great pride in their homemade menu. The owners are very sweet and make sure that you’re happy with everything. I would love to come here again if I’m ever in the area.’

Oh my what was that. smh…it’s a good thing I asked for extra BBQ sauce because that was so dry I could not swallow it without help… no taste at all… it looks nice inside the restaurant but the trip tip and brisket was very dry. truly disappointed! !!!

One thing this place has going for it is a cute theme. Interior and exterior are both decorated to fit an old western theme. The inside is one giant collage of mounted deer heads, wagon wheels, war memorabilia, and all things rustic. Service was prompt and all three waitresses who tended to our table were extremely friendly. The food was not bad. My date and I ordered onion rings to start, hot links, pulled pork, Mac and cheese, and sweet potato fries. The hot links were really flavorful, but a little too greasy for my preference. The sweet potato fries were also good– crisp and not greasy. All entrees are served with a salad too. I loved their vinegarette dressing. I didn’t try my date’s food(pulled pork & Mac and cheese) but he also said it was«alright». All in all, it was a nice dining experience. My date and I had a great time conversing over our meal(the noise level is low) while checking out all the random decorations. The food was only alright though. Sn: we went on a Friday night and were able to overhear karaōke going on in the connecting bar room. May have to check out karaōke night another time.

Totally blows the competition away!!! I hadn’t been here in many years(prior to Chef Irvine), but 2 girlfriends and I were out and about on Saturday 3÷19÷16 and since I had a $ 10 coupon, we decided to have lunch here. You order at the counter and they bring the order to you if you are dining in and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly and helpful and very pleasant. They seem to go out of their way to make sure your experience is memorable, and boy was it ever! 1 friend ordered the Chicky Chicky Bone Bone, and 2 of us ordered the Sloppy Pig sandwich, mine«Memphis Style», and an order of fried pickles. WOW. The portions, including the sides, are very generous. The food awesome and we all said we will definitely return here, and soon. We. Were. Very. Impressed. After I got home, I told my 2 sons about it and they both wanted to check it out. I gave a $ 10 coupon to them, and went with one to order dinner. They got the brisket dinners and they too are very impressed. One got the mac n cheese, and he is VERYPICKY about mac n cheese. He said this was probably the best he’s tasted. This is now our«go to BBQ restaurant» — definitely blows Famous Dave’s out of the water and Dickie’s just doesn’t stand a chance. We will definitely return, coupons or not!

Food is great! Tasty! Prices are just right! Wasn’t expecting table service, but Anthony brought us refills and condiments and cleared dishes as soon as they were emptied! Anthony is sweet AND cute! Oh, and the«SLOPPYPIG» sandwich combo was great! I recommend it and will order it again!

I have been coming to this Mill Creek since it opened almost 10 years ago, since I used to live and work close by. I hadn’t been here for over a year, when we decided to stop in after my Wife’s Doctors appointment at Kaiser up the street. Parked the jeep and strolled on in. They have remodeled the place into a more classy, artdeco kind of more modern look. I came in here hungry for breakfast, but saw the special for the Reuben on the bulletin board. It took about 5 minutes for me to decide, but I went with the Reuben. The Wife took just as long deciding between the Cowboy Breakfast, and the Stuffed French Toast, and ended up getting the toast. She also got a side of «Cowboy Taters, which are really just tater tots deep fried, but are pretty damn good. The Woman at the counter was patiently waiting for us to approach with a friendly smile, as she always has. Ordered our grub, got our drinks. Sat down and talked about all the good meals we used to enjoy here. Our food came out about 5 minutes later, lookingimpressive as ever on our plates. The Lady went and got me the mustard I requested, and we started to chow down. The Reuben was just as I remember it. Delicious Rye Bread, toasted crisp on the top. I recommend turning this sandwich upside down soon after you get it, as the bottom bread gets rendered into paste from all the juices as it sits on your plate. The corned beef is beautiful The best texture as it comes with a few chunks that fall apart as yiu take your bite. It’s a tad sweet for corned beed, but the mustard takes care of that mighty quick. The fries are thin-cut processed fries. Standard but good. I like to dip them in that delicious barbeque sauce that they have at each table. My Wife’s cream cheese stuffed Frenxh Toast came covered in Strawberries and looked really good so I pirated a few bites from her. Really good, but eat it fast, it gets soggy quicker than you think. We used to always get the Cowboy Breakfast, as it is a great value. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, tots, it’s $ 5 now, used to be $ 3.99 back in the day. All of the Brisket and Pulled Pork here is marvelous. They have a tap machine for drinks, which is cool, but the Iced Teas they have are really good, so thats my go to. The bathrooms are small, but clean. The staff has always been nice. We should come back more often.

Won’t be coming here again. We’ve been here a few times, probably once or twice a year. I’ve always found it to be decent barbecue for California. We came here for lunch today, this time I didn’t get barbecue; I got the turkey burger(w/guac and pico) and a side of coleslaw. The burger came with limp lettuce, the tomato was mealy, waterlogged, and partially frozen. The bun could have been good but it was way too soft. Also, they put ketchup on it… guac plus ketchup? It was weird all together. I took off almost all the toppings and ate it. Definitely wouldn’t order again. Had to send the coleslaw back, as it was rubbery and the dressing was full of water. So, so, so disappointed with mill creek. By the way, of the seven dishes we ordered, half of them arrived with missing or wrong sides. The one bright side of the meal was the corn muffin with whipped butter. That was really good, and worth a star.

Delicious BBQI I had the trio without the pork. The tri tip was amazing, so tender and tasty. The brisket was a little dry, but still good. They make the rolls in house and they were soft but held up to the extra sauce I added. I also got the cole slaw and it was perfect for the sliders. The fries are crispy and hot. I am really impressed by my meal. I did have to wait in the drive thru line for about 5 mins, but the girl at the window was really sweet and helpful. I totally recommend anyone try this place for lunch or dinner. I had tons of food for $ 11. Easily 2 meals. Dangerously close to my house!

First time visiting here. We enjoyed the bbq pastrami w/onion rings and my wife had the Brewster burger which was cooked perfectly on a lightly toasted potato bun w/fries. This place serves local beers at an affordable price. Great staff. Would recommend this place to anyone. I will definitely be a regular here!!!

Been here a few times and only because I was next door buying baking items and starving. The burgers are huge but there just ok. The burgers are loaded with good toppings but the flavor lacks. The other items I’ve tried have been ok as well. Customer service needs improvement big time! This place is not friendly or cozy at all.

Super yummy. We had burgers, ribs & chicken. Just ordering the Chickie Chickie Bone Bone makes you smile! Ribs were the best! The BBQ chicken & burgers were good too, but I recommend getting ribs. I don’t however recommend the chili. Which is disappointing because that seemed easy for a place like this… But it was runny & not flavorful. I will not post my description I gave at the table…

3.5 stars. Yes, Robert Irvine was here. I did not see this particular episode, but yes, he did a Restaurant Impossible makeover sometime last year, 2014. And yes, Mill Creek Cattle Company has remained open. This is a good choice for the man/woman who needs their«rib fix». The ribs are big and meaty, moist, and the sauce is delicious. The coffee rub is delicious. I can highly recommend this. The sides of cornbread and slaw were good. Now on the other hand, I needed to drink a bottle of Pepto Bismol after *my* meal, chili to be exact. My choice, hoping it was as good as advertised, was a bowl of(no bean) chili, also Robert Irvine’s recipe. RI, you did a great job on some recipes(ribs and burgers), but the chili was not one of them. I happen to have had a good chili the night before, and the comparison was not even close. I would not get this again in spite of the tender meat in it. It is quaint inside, considering it is contained in yet another colorless strip mall. The music, well if you are Born Again Christian, you will like it here. I thought the conservative, soft, Country Western style, was soothing, but I would prefer that religious music be kept to religious structures or in private. Just sayin’, and that was not a deal breaker. The overall menu surprised me. It is posted all over the wall, no sit down service. You order at the counter. However, you need to be ‘in the know’ to realize that only the ones that start with RI something, are the ones made over. The remainder appears to be the throwback menu from pre-RI days. IMHO, they may have bit off more than they could chew, too many choices, especially knowing RI’s philosophy that less is better for a struggling restaurant. We were there on a Sunday around lunch time, and the place was visibly empty. Not sure it that meant anything. The dinner meals are judiciously priced, not too high. The service was pretty good, this is after all a fast-food model. If I needed ribs, I would stop by. And it is appreciated that they have a dog friendly patio for those of us that like a little puppy love with our meal.
