I had a great experience from start to finish when I visited this salon. It’s beautifully decorated inside and everyone is very welcoming.
I’ve had trust issues since my previous hair stylist quit doing hair, but Jennifer was highly recommend by a friend so I decided it was time to take the plunge. I’m so happy that I did… my highlights are absolutely amazing! I’ve been getting compliments all week! Jennifer also provided some great hair care tips and suggested a new styling tool for me to use at home.
I appreciate the time she took to make me feel at ease, and I really love the beautiful caramel highlights she gave me. As a bonus, I found the salon’s pricing to be very reasonable. I will definitely be back to see Jennifer in the near future.

GL Salon is fabulous! Jennifer was my daughters’ (10 and 12 yrs old) stylist today. She made them feel fancy and gave them the complete salon experience for only $ 15. Jennifer even recommended certain cuts and tips for their different types of hair. Her expertise is obvious. We will certainly continue to come to Jennifer for the whole family! We didn’t have to wait and the salon itself is beautiful and peaceful. The owner was friendly and fun to talk to as well!

I’ve been going to the same stylist in Beaumont for years but wanted to find someone closer to home in Redlands. Jennifer was recommended to me by my next door neighbor. I get my hair done every 4 weeks and am extremely particular about the color… and because I go so often the price! I told Jennifer exactly what I wanted done and how much I was willing to pay. She more than exceeded my expectations! I’m happy to say I have a new stylist! Not only is Jennifer a great stylist but was so down to earth and fun to chat with. In addition — the GL Salon is just beautiful on the inside! It’s been decorated beautifully and the salon experience itself is great. The part I love about the location is that it’s on the quieter side of State Street without all the hassle in parking… and my boyfriend is thrilled because I can run to Saverinos for takeout as soon as I’m done!

Jennifer is one of the newest stylists at this beautiful salon & I am SO glad I made an appointment with her last week.
I am a mother of 2 and have always kept my hair very low maintenance. I turned 28 and desperately wanted a change but I love the length of my hair so I didn’t want to chop it.

I got my hair done by Jennifer Peetz, she did a partial highlight cut and style. I absolutely loved it! When I walked in I was greeted by the salon owner, Gitty. The salon has a wonderful atmosphere, clean and beautiful, with great products. Jennifer then showed me to my chair and started on my color. After my color she washed it out and gave the beast head massage! My boyfriend then came in and while my hair was air drying she was able to cut his hair. She then cut and styled my hair. I would recommend this salon especially Jennifer to anyone in the area!

I had been cutting my own hair for years. I tried to find someone that could do it better than I could and couldn’t find anyone until I went to GL Salon.
I’m a guy, so it seems most of the salons just want to use buzzers, but it’s not that way at GL Salon. Baily does a fantastic job every time.
This place is great with a nice atmosphere and friendly people. I go on there sometimes just to say hi.

I’ve been going to Gity since 2006 when she did my hair and makeup for my wedding. I loved my hair and I left like a princess after. She spent several hours with us and even allowed all my bridal party to get dressed and ready at the salon (Charlston House). It was a very special time for me. She is friendly and professional. I was so thrilled when she opened her own salon. She knows how to do my hair just how I like it and I trust her to do new things with it as well. She carries great products, my favorite are the oils, especially Mythic oil. Although having an appointment is best, I usually walk in and I she’ll see me as soon as she can. The new salon is great and the prices are very affordable.

Finding Gity was just what I needed! I had been going to someone in Highland for years. When she moved away, I was devastated. I saw someone with beautiful hair and asked where she got hers done and that’s how I came to know Gity. That was about 18 months ago.
I’ve been completely happy with EVERYTHING she has done not only to my hair but to all of my daughters and daughter-​in-​law (s). She even did our wedding party (including the bride’s makeup and hair) September 2012 and everything turned out just perfect.
I suggest you try out her salon before you judge it based on one negative review (you know how people can be at times). At least go meet her and talk with her about what you want done and the price.

Worst customer service I’ve ever received was by the owner! .The owner is very rude in person and on the phone. Be careful because she may talk about you behind your back. I found out she cussed about me behind my back and made comments that sound racist. It was not only sad to hear those comments, they were hurtful and it showed me how little she values her customers. The reason for the rudeness is because she couldn’t apologize. She arrived late for my appointment and did a rush job on the hair. She overcharged us and would not apologize for being late. I asked for an apology and that’s when she began the trash talking.
Because a «customer» commented about me. I’d like to reply. How would you know my real name unless you are the owner writing comments about your own salon? I don’t know a John D., that may not even be your real name. The owner did my sister’s hair for her wedding and she did a rush job. She arrived late and didn’t bother to apologize. When I called her to ask for an apology for being late, she explained how wedding’s are always late and that it wasn’t her fault. It is not a vendetta against the owner, but the owner should be a positive face for the salon. It was a disappointing first and last experience. She made us feel unwelcome at our appointment and as if she had better things to do than be there on time.
All I wanted to say in this review is there are much better salons with better customer service out there. If the owner doesn’t care about the customers, that is not a good first impression of the type of service you can expect to recieve.

Very friendly. Before going through the with cut and style, we talked about what I wanted and what we felt was best for my hair, which is very thin. She was able to clear up questions I had and then did a great job on my hair.
Being a grad student, i was even happier when she gave me a student discount!
Will definitely be going here again!
