First time at Darby’s I got the shrimp tacos. The shrimp was amazing, however the taco shell could of used some extra grilling or seasoning. It’s a bit cold and plain but everything inside the taco was fantastic! The place was very clean and comfortable. Service was great till we paid our bill then no one ever checked on us again. Too bad I didn’t realize I needed a refill till then. Overall I loved it and I will go back.

This is a fantastic restaurant! The quinoa salad is the best, and the presentation is lovely. The fried pickles are a favorite of mine as well. This is definitely a new favorite restaurant for me. In addition to the wonderful food, service was fantastic. The employees were friendly, helpful, and made sure that the customers were satisfied. 100% recommend to anyone who likes good food.

The second time we ate there it seemed they really had ironed out the kinks. The drinks were great, the service was pretty decent, and we had a good time.

Took our son here on his bday. He ordered a burger and it looked great! The branding on the bun adds a cool touch. My husband and I both ordered the fish tacos, for me it was fine because I typically eat only half my plate, so in this case it was just enough food. However, my husband was still hungry and had to order more food after he was done with his entrée. I would recommend if you are really hungry order a burger plate. Also, if you order a salad as your side rather than the fries or other options, it’s only about 3 bites! Overall the food was good but not sure about the value considering the portions were not all equal.

Always a yummy place to me ! I ordered off their lunch menu today and got their mini chicken Cobb salad, it was delicious but it was definitely mini! Next time I would just order off their regular menu. The service was great as ALWAYS :)

Went here for the first time last night. Absolutely zero complaints! We were a group of 6, everyone cleaned their plates and kept ordering drinks. Awesome food, awesome drinks, awesome service. Not too loud and everyone was friendly. Great place to hang with a group of friends. I highly recommend the Red Hot Buffalo chicken wrap. Definitely will be coming back… With more people!

Love this place, still learning the Redlands area and Darby’s has become my go to. Atmosphere is great and the service has always been fast and friendly. Definitely can’t beat the Darbinator burger either !

Had a wonderful first time experience. The food was awesome. It is not often I can say that there is a potato salad better than mine, but their’s definitely topped mine! Split the tortilla burger with my husband, and my son being a bottomless pit teenager tried the massive Darbinator! Our burger was awesome and my son could only eat half of his no matter how much he liked it. We also shared an order of Irish fries, which was enough to be meal in itself! We will definitely be back, and recommend!

Go home Darbys, you’re drunk. Not a fan of this place. Downtown has great character, except this Applebee’s wanna be. Can’t wait for the wait staff to start wearing flair! Cantina in this case means«we don’t make any one kind of food very well so lets just dump it all on our menu». Positive: if your idea of ambiance is 50 large screen TVs, then you will love it here!

Food was great, service was great, lots of tvs to watch all of the football games that were on this past Sunday. Family atmosphere with a well thought out menu of unique American pub food. We had the wedge salad, Sriracha chicken sandwich with the bacon potato salad, and two bacon cheese burgers with fries and chips. Everything was great!

I have heard many good things about this place and thought I would give it a try. I know this has been around for awhile, so I was impressed when I walked in and the place was clean and modern. I am assuming they have undergone a renovation. Service could have been better. When we walked in, the hostess was on her cell phone. Who does that? We waited for her to finish her call, then she seated us. The food was tasty. I got a burger that was impressively stamped with«Darby’s» on top. My friend got the fish and chips, which is dipped in Hanger 24 beer batter and is now on my top 5 list for fish and chips. Dine or Dash? Dine. As long as the hostess gets off her cell and gets me a table.

Walked in to get a beer with my friend. We were asked for our IDs so we presented our Puerto Rico(USA Territory) IDs. The first response from the bartender was that they didn’t accept the ID. At first I told her it was a US valid ID and that we traveled without the need of a passport. I would like to point out not only that the ID has every part of the ID in English but that after the bartender checked a booklet of US IDs she said they still couldn’t serve us alcohol. I asked her if she had found the ID in the booklet, she said they had but for security reasons the business was going to opt out from serving us. I told her«that’s so discriminatory» and with a mocking attitude she responded«it is?». I got up and as I was leaving she yelled in the same way«Merry Xmas». Obviously she was just being sarcastic… Not a friendly place to go to! What a shame…

I went here a few weeks ago with my fiancé for late night grub on a Saturday night. We got there a little before their kitchen was closing and we decided to order food for our friend that was coming late. Our waitress was extremely nice and accommodating. Then we find out that they’re closing at midnight — for a Saturday night I was shocked, but ok, I’ll live. But then the busser started putting the chairs on the tables all around us with a less than friendly attitude(he looked like he was ready to punch someone). We felt really unwanted and suddenly quite awkward. When my friend got there right as they closed, the door guy wouldn’t let her in even though her food was already on the table. I couldn’t see my waitress so I asked the busser, who’s attitude towards me was really rude when I tried to explain. But our amazing waitress saw what was happening and had them let her in. The food was enjoyable and we really appreciated our service from the waitress. But the treatment we got from the other two men was extremely unpleasant. It’s hard to want to go back, especially on a weekend night, after that experience.

Darby’s is a fun sports bar/pub/cantina on the corner of Orange and State Streets in downtown Redlands. The first time I visited the place was when Ben Cook from Hangar 24 treated a bunch of us to a pint in celebration of the Redlands City Council allowing their last AirFest to be held(I attended and spoke in support at this meeting.) Its a very cool spot indeed. Their menu and drink selection(40 taps!) features locally sourced and inspired selections. Some of my faves are their frickles(deep fried dill pickles) and their Fish N Chips — both made with Hangar 24 Orange Wheat Beer Batter! Mmm Mmmm! Its very sports-bar inspired in that there are numerous TVs all over the place featuring sports events, and their is music bumpin’ all the time. Its not overly loud or heavy on the sensory overload like places like Buffalo Wild Wings are. Service is usually pretty good here. Very friendly and attentive. Of course it doesn’t hurt that most of the waitresses here are eye candy. :-) Certainly a place to visit when your in the area and want a good meal in a fun, social spot!

Food was good… atmosphere is fabulous… good service as well. The hostess and some of the other staff may need Patti Label in their life. I would go back to see if the attitudes improved. Maybe it was an off day.

Great State street spot. 40 beers on tap. The fish and chips are great. The Darbinator burger and and assorted wraps are great. The bistro steak salad is fantastic. The tv’s are large and HD. Service is consistently good. Lively atmosphere with a crowd of family’s and middle aged people.

A few friends and I came out to Darby’s to watch an NFL playoff game last year. To be honest, I wasn’t excited about coming out to Redlands; not in the slightest. Boy was I wrong! Walking up to Darby’s, I saw that this place was something different. I loved the modern yet sporty look to the place. It was classy, loud, and filled with life. As the host escorted us to our seat, I got a look at the countless televisions mounted to the walls. The TV’s coupled with the bar and overall décor of the place was fantastic. It wasn’t your average cookie-cutter bar. This place had character. This place had class. And the menu! The food was fantastic! The Aha Aji appetizer was TDF(to-die-for!) It had creativity, color, and loads of flavor. I always teased my buddies that live out in Redlands and here I am, counting the days until we go back!

We have eaten here several times. The first time was just as they opened. This was a bit rough, but after that service and food has greatly improved. They have been pretty busy lately so try for off peak, if Friday evening or the weekend. they have several interesting salads and sandwiches. There are a HUGE number of TV’s with whatever game is on. If your a sports fan this will be great. It is pretty loud and there are times when there are a lot of sports folks or kids here so you can count on it being pretty loud. Food and drink prices are not deals but not excessive either. Nice to have another option in Redlands.
