Forest Design

My neighbor uses this service for his lawn and it always looks very nice. The employees seem courteous and clean up their messes. If I had a lawn I would use these guys over the «other guys».

We were very fortunate to find Forest Design. We had met with many other landscapers, but none of them had the time or the equipment needed for the job of demolishing our entire backyard and creating a new space for us and our dogs. We met with the owner many times to discuss our wants and needs, every time he came prepared and ready with plans. We changed our minds on the final design a few times, but he was very accommodating. The end result is amazing! We now have our dream backyard and enjoy time outside with our dogs, family, and friends. Forest Design maintains our yard weekly and they do a great job. So much so, that our in-​laws hired them to redo their front yard and maintain their yard as well.

Before I signed a contract for this company to fix my irrigation problem, I carefully checked their website and noticed they had been voted «Best in the North State.» The supervisor who came out and gave me a verbal quote seemed honest and fair. But wow. They didn’t stick to the original bid I signed, charged me twice the cost they quoted for labor, and when I called the company to try to resolve it, the owner showed up on my porch and was menacing and threatened to rip out the work they had done if I didn’t pay the entire bill. (I did pay the bill all except the disputed labor amount.) I can only imagine that they got voted best by having friends and family stuff the ballot box. Or maybe customers who never had the misfortune to encounter the bully who is the owner. They must give good service to SOME of their clients, but I wasn’t one of them. Steer clear.
