Daltile Sales Service Center

I was happy to see Jeff D. came here from the other tile shop that was on Hartnel. He has always been helpful and polite to me. I feel very comfortable asking him questions and advice. He is very knowledgeable and remembered by heart the tile brand and color of some tile that I brought in.

O.k. my husband and I go into this place (Daltile) a week ago knowing we were going to drop about a grand on floor tiles… stone floor tiles. First, we were completely ignored for about a half hour. So I decided to go into the back room where a couple of guys were sitting in front of computers. One guy was on the phone so he receives immunity. The other dude did not say a word when we stepped up to the counter (his computer is on the counter). I’m pretty polite so I waited for him to acknowledge me since he seemed to be interested in the computer. After about two minutes I could not take it anymore and I said «excuse me, sir we would like some prices.» He never looked up from the computer and said, «hold on a minute, someone will be with you.»
Wow. That is the worse customer service I think I have ever experienced. I went out to the studio floor with my husband and waited another 15 minutes!
The other guy, who was on the phone, came out and helped us. He seemed as if we were bothering him. I had questions, he looked at me like I should have known all of the answers.
Word of advice — when you can make $ 946.00 from ONE customer in MINUTES … get a personality and treat them like you appreciate them. I went to Lowe’s and got the SAME stone tiles for a little less and surprisingly, the dude knew a lot about stone, so they got my $. I will never go to Daltile again.
