Everytime we go in we are pleased. The ladies do a great job and the price is cheap. Low prices and very friendly employees.

I love this place! It’s my first threading experience and I like it way better than waxing!

I am visiting Redding from out of town, so I needed a place to get my eyebrows done. This place got good reviews and so I decided to try it out. My eyebrows look good now that I have left, but the service was very impersonal. You could tell she had done this a million times, so it was almost as if a machine was doing my eyebrows. She also had her body rubbing against my head while she was working, leaving me with a crazy hairstyle when I left.
That being said… She did do a good job and I would go back if I ever need to get my eyebrows done in Redding again.

It could have easily just been the lady that did mine but I had a terrible experience. I made sure I stressed I love my thick brows they just needed cleaning up. I walked out with what looked like pencil lines on my face :(now I’ll be too scared to ever go back and I have to now wait for mine to grow back!

So impressed with this place. My brows were looking pretty tore up as I had let them go. I usually wax them myself at home but hadn’t gotten around to it. I was running errands around town and remembered this place. I love that you don’t need an appointment and brow threading is only $ 10! I walked right in and was told to sit in a chair. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes with my brows looking spiffy. The only thing is, there is kind of a language barrier and they don’t really ask you how you prefer your brows. They just start removing hair. I know they typically go with your natural shape and every employee in there has great brows so I wasn’t too concerned. They looked great but she took a little more off the fronts than I was expecting — I worked hard to grow those out! Only one star off for language barrier and lack of individualized customer service/​interaction. No biggie if you’re just looking to be in and out in a flash. I will definitely be back.

One word — PREET.
Preet is the beautician I go to every time my chewbacca eyebrows need a bit of calming down. She’s fantastic at her craft and is very gentle on the face. She’s incredibly sweet and always does a great job. Personally, I really appreciate the fact that she will do half of my face first, show me the eyebrow design, and if I like it, do the same thing on the other side.
I have never been disappointed and always leave satisfied. :0) THANK YOU!

When I first came here I was super nervous to get my eyebrows threaded because I didn’t want them too thin, but the women were very understanding and my eyebrows have never looked better. I really like that they have a points system to earn rewards too. Overall I would definitely recommend getting your eyebrows done here.

I had a great experience here. I did a walk in and only had to wait about 5 minutes before they took me! The lady that did my brows was understanding to what I wanted and she perfectly groomed them which only took about 4 minutes for both sides! I was highly impressed because the entire process was painless. I will definitely be coming back again! However I do regret not getting the cooling gel when i was asked, I had those white itchy bumps pop up after she finished. So if you have sensitive brows that do the same, get the cooling gel!

Preeti does the best eyebrows! I won’t go to anyone else. They are flawless every time and I get compliments on the at least once a week. Night recommend threading and this is the only place in redding to go.

Overall my eyebrows are alright. I typically prefer them to be a bit thicker but I understand when the ladies make them a bit thinner due to my sparse eyebrow hairs and their attempt in giving me an arch. =P What made me give a lower rating was their lack of understanding customer satisfaction. The store signs claim that your satisfaction is guaranteed and to come back if you’re not completely happy with their work. When I was first given the mirror to see if I liked my brows I noticed the right side looked way more arched than the left and I know eyebrows are more intended to be sisters rather than twins but mine looked like a sister from another mother! So I pointed out how they didn’t match and she kept insisting it was fine and proceeded to thread the OTHER brow when I kept pointing to the right being too thick. So I decided to just leave it alone and chalked it up to me being hypersensitive. I took a quick perusal of a few stores and did a quick glance in a couple of mirrors and I couldn’t stop noticing how much thicker the right was compared to the left. I hate complaining and I’m the type of person to suffer in silence rather than make life harder for other people but I didn’t want to walk around work looking like I had a question with one slightly higher brow. I decided to go back when it was less busy and I pointed out to the lady again how the right brow was way higher and thicker. She only had ONE customer waiting in the whole store yet she still kept rushing me. She kept saying how she was giving me an arch and by threading them again would make them less arched which I agreed with but I told her I didn’t want my brows looking like complete strangers. So she quickly starts threading the LEFT again without really looking over my brows and I had to stop her and say NO the RIGHT one is too thick. So she takes a couple of pulls on the right but at this point I’ve had enough and I tell her it’s fine. I end up going home and removing 2 strays myself. I understand when the store people don’t want to let their customers wait too long but they need to uphold their supposed customer satisfaction guarantee. Making someone feel like a leper just cause they decided to come back for a re-​thread is not cool.

Let me say that i am sure all the ladies are fabulous but rajbeer is my girl. She remembers who i am and my preferences. Its far and few between that someone gets my «mexican» arch right but she nails it every time. Thank you. Five stars to rajbeer.

I’ve been a patron of Beauty by Thread for a few years now. I love them! I am very picky about my brows and know exactly what I want. Not only does Rajbeer do an excellent job, but she remembers my preferences and always communicates with me before beginning my service. Good customer service is a plus, but personal customer service is the best! Thank you, Rajbeer, for keeping me beautiful.

I have been getting my eyebrows done here for about a year now, and I have yet to have an issue. The ladies her are nice, fast, and always do an amazing job! Every time you go in they give you a $ 2 of coupon for next time. I love this place! Best place in Redding to get your brows done!

Recommend this place. The only place that I would go to in Redding. Great service and plus they do a good job. I always go in and get it done by preet. Shes amazing. Will be a consistent customer: D

I had a great experience coming here. I’ve been on vacation and needed some eyebrow attention. I vowed last time I was waxed on the bows, I’d never do it again. So I was in need of finding a eyebrow threading Salon while I was on the road. Yay Unilocal!Plus there was a check in offer for $ 2 off. Unilocal Helped me find this place.
I was kindly greeted and they got to work.
The brows turned out very nicely. I’m super pleased and was in and out quickly!

I had a great experience here.
The staff was friendly and they gave me a coupon for my first and second visit. I usually wax, but the results of the threading were so much better that I will only thread my eyebrows (if it is available).
The experience of threading was difficult for me because my nerves are sensitive around my eyes: I have not been able to often wear glasses because of this. At one point I think I almost reflex-​punched the lady, but thankfully her thread broke at that moment and I was able to have a breather. My friend went with me and she didn’t experience this same sensation; so it must have just been my odd nerves.
The shaping that one can achieve with threading is so much better than any waxing that I highly recommend it to anyone who gives a rip about their face.
Plus, they almost always have coupons and rarely have a wait for walk-​ins.

They are fast and my eyebrows always look great. I also like that their hours are pretty late because I get off work at 630pm. Very friendly service. I don’t like that it’s in the mall, but that’s probably not a problem for most people. I always look like hell when I get my eyebrows done and I don’t really want to have to walk through the mall. Also everyone in the mall can see you while you are getting threaded. I don’t like that. What if you have to get your upper lip done? Which I do, or I look like a 48 year old Italian man. But I don’t want the whole mall watching! But I still go there bc my eyebrows look so damn good!

The ladies here are always so kind and welcoming. I was scared to get my eyebrows waxed with all the horror stories I’ve heard so I went this route.
I love it! I’ve very pale skinned so I turn very red, so I always come prepared with huge sunglasses to put on the second I leave.
They’ve never took too much off. No one wants sperm– looking eyebrows! But they always check with me after every brow they do too make sure I like it.

I was greatly impressed by the quickness and the employee/​owner. I don’t like my brows too thin, and she did it so they match. Quick, and almost painless.
Pros: Quicker than plucking, no hot wax, cheaper than waxing ($ 10 for brows), whole appt took maybe 6 mins. Redness went away in 20 mins. Cleaner than wax or plucking.
Cons: If you don’t pluck or wax…(you have gnarly catapillars), be prepared for it to sting.
They also do chins, sideburns, hairlines, upper lips, etc. I asked her and yes, she works on men too.
Walk in and appts. Appts get seated first over walk-​ins.
