We’ve been coming here for years and love it each time! The best thin crust pizza around and it’s great for large groups of people.

Best thin crust pizza in Red Bank. This place has been around forever for a reason. Decent calamari, although I’m not sure it’s fresh. But you get a lot of food for relatively cheap. It’s your typical, old-school, family-owned pizzeria. I hear their entrees are also good, particularly the penne vodka and chicken Marsala.

Never got to eat … We were visiting my aunt and cousins in NJ. They have been going here for 13 years. We walked in the door under the dinning awning. And told immediately that we needed to go to the hostess area for a table… no greeting no nothing .my aunt and cousins looked at each other and just said that’s weird because that was the 1st time they were told that. We get to the hostess area and no one is there . The place was empty and they told us that they were booked with reservations till 730? It was 445. And they couldn’t/wouldn’t accommodate us. The place was literally empty and had plenty of open seating and two long tables open that could fit around 15 – 20 people. I think because we had 6 kids(well behaved) and 11 of us all together. My aunt has been going here for 13 years and this never happened? She walked out saying I’ll never go here again. It was disappointing because I heard the pizza was really good. But the costumer service was horrible. Overall I did not get a good vibe from this place. It was as if they didn’t want our money

I have been ordering pizza here for 30 + years. This is strictly a pizza review I dont think ive ever eaten anything other then that since Ive been going there. If you like thin crusted tomato pies look no further. Their sweet fennel sausage is the best. I always order well done. One plain One sausage. I could eat a whole pie when i was younger. Its a 3 bite slice… Heaven. Now I can only eat about 4 or 5. At a regular pizza place 2 if its really good good. Recently my cousins and i have been getting together every few months to grab a pizza and a cold beer at all the local similar famous Tomato pie places along the shore to catch up. Pete & Eda’s, Vics’s and Val’s a long time ago. Well 2 weeks ago we took a vote after another great evening at Brothers and it was unanimous Brothers was the winner Hands down. The others are great as well in their own right and we will certainly go to them again for a change of pace but nobody makes a better sausage or sausage & pepper pie IMO. The service is fast, friendly & efficient. It gets very busy on weekends Maybe try take out it will be HOT. Some of these waitresses have been there as long as Ive been going. I met some high school buddies at the bar just a few days ago to visit a friend in from California and again the perfect place the 5 of us ate 3 pies and Ice cold Blue Moon Beers on tap sitting at the bar. Great Pies super casual but warm and friendly décor and very reasonably priced A+++

Damn fine pizza & Italian food with consistency. Peppers and onions is a standout as well as the thin crust pizza. Peeps seem to remember you which is always nice. Very friendly staff and will return.

My favorite thin crust pizza. Very casual dining but I prefer to take home. I’m not sure if they are currently open but I am hoping the re open soon because I’m lost without their plain pie.

When you come in 2RB from the Parkway this is one of the first restaurants you see. The sign for 20 years has about 3 letters that light up and it looks so ghetto. Get a new sign!!! How cheap are you!!! But other than that the food is great, margarita pizza is Awsome.

Barflys… Chaos. and spitballs. Friday night in Red Bank can be tough to get a table. But if you are married without kids… don’t make the mistake we made. Waiting 10 minutes for a table here is a feat of patience. Next to the toilet one waits while herds of children play games and slam their way into the restrooms… and then quickly out again. Or perhaps listen to the opinions of the local bar flys who have been imbibing since noon and raise their voice to a scream when trying to drown out the chaos that is happening in the restaurant. Chaos! Children throwing food, banging on tables… a crazy mix of every class of white collar, Blue Collar, bar fly… elderly. I must admit. There is a great sense of community. But everybody is coming here on AUTOPILOT. Because they’ve been coming for years… their parents came for years. Its an institution… Nobody thinks to look up… up at that kitchy blue and red… panelled, disco balled ceiling… because if they did, they would see the decades of SPITBALLS that litter the dusty ancient ceiling. Or perhaps they just don’t care. Don’t care to look at the years of sauce that have accumulated on the walls near tables… nobody even looks at it… its lit perfectly by the table lamp. They just come in… eat… And ignore that stuff. The pizzas pretty good

I have a soft spot for The Brothers as I grew up in the area and used to go here all the time before I moved to the culinary wasteland of Northern Virginia for a job 20 years ago. Just stopped in again on Saturday night as I was up visiting friends. The Brothers is a bastion of personality and charm in a Red Bank that is becoming increasingly air brushed, contrived and yuppie-fied. Thin crust pizza with sausage and peppers is as good as I remember, with ice cold beers on tap and great service(as I call it, «Jersey Service»; waitresses that have been here forever and are one with the place… just great!) I hope The Brothers holds out and is there in another 40 years. It’s perfect!

Other reviewers have written that you don’t go here for the ambiance. Don’t go for the pizza, either. This was the greasiest pizza I have ever had in New Jersey. So greasy that the oil ran down my hand in several streams when I picked up a slice. So greasy that some dripped on the table and left a big oily blotch on the paper placemat. The«thin crust» was not as thin as what I think of when I think«thin crust», and all that excess oil made it a soggy, chewy disappointment. There are several places for terrific thin crust pizza in Monmouth County. Sadly, Brothers is not among them.

You don’t go to Brothers for the personality of the waitresses. You go for the pizza. …thin crust and very tasty. Besides the waitress, my only complaint would be about their antipasto… $ 12.99 for a small platter of lettuce, a quartered tomato(not ripe yet), a few black & green olives, 3 slices of deli provolone, 4 slices of capicola, 3 pepperoncini a few cucumber slices and short celery twig? To boot, no balsamic vinegar(but I didn’t ask for any. Maybe they did) Would I go back? Yes Would I recommend it? Yes with a «waitress warning».

Excellent from the moment we walked in, to the moment we left. I believe the only issue was that there was no one to seat us, so we decided to seat ourselves. I’m assuming that it’s their rule for seating anyways because the waitress gladly served us. Two appetizers we ordered were the wings, and popcorn chicken. Both phenomenal! But the pizza… Let me just say wow! Very good, thin crust, warm(not hot to burn your mouth!) and tasty! Will most definitely be coming back here, and because there’s an Urban Outfitters nearby… enough said, wonderful!

I can only speak of the pizza, but we tried it once and never went back. It was so small, and for the money, just go to pacinis’ or new corner and get a real pizza. However it does smell amazing every time I walk by. I have no clue how the other food there stacks up.

Comfy, warm, inviting. Nothing fancy — just a solid pizza place. We go here for lunch with coworkers a lot — and we grab pitchers of beer and a bunch of different thin crust pizzas. The environment is friendly, and they have an extensive menu. The pizza is solid and the slices aren’t huge. So you don’t feel too guilty when you go for your third(or fourth).

This is a family favorite of my friend, who lives in the area. My favorite thing there is their Sicilian salad but the pizza is always really tasty too. Had the fried zucchini sticks for the first time which come with marinara and a ranch dip. You can get beer by the pitcher or pint and I believe they have a full bar as well. Service was fast and we had a large group, although it was a Monday night. The parking lot is a little tight so just be aware you might have to park down the street.

Consistent, old school pizza joint. One of the few places in the area where you can get a decent pie and a pitcher of beer. I also like the fact that it is wannabe-free and that is saying something for Red Bank. I would definitely recommend a visit to this glimpse at the«ghost of Monmouth County past», before it was overrun by pseudo– sophisticates.

Brothers’ is a local institution. Everyone has one of those places nearby where your parents took you when you were a kid and now you find yourself taking your own kids. For those in Red Bank area, Brother’s is that place. Generations have come here to eat their pizza — and if Brothers’ continues to operate for the next 25 years, I’m sure the children of today will be taking their kids here as well. The building and interior are old and I doubt they have refurbished much since the place opened decades ago. The regulars at the bar in the front of the place are fun to watch as well. Its a typical old fashioned family Italian restaurant with a bar attached. The pizza is definitely the highlight at this location. Their non-pizza menu isn’t anything to rave about and much better Italian can be found throughout Red Bank. As others have commented, their service is often odd as well. The waitresses seem so unhappy. I’ve never quite figured out why there are so many frowns as the place is always crowded and I have to imagine tips are very good. I always hope I’ll catch one of the waitresses sporting a smile. So in summary, if you want a good old fashioned pizza experience, Brothers’ is the place to go. You won’t be disappointed. However If you want a good Italian meal with friendly service … try one of the other zillion Italian offerings in the Red Bank area. Brothers’ is about the pizza and not much more — go there with that in mind and you’ll leave a very happy customer.
