We used these guys for a cross-country move from NJ-WA in July. Cost 4.40/cuft for about 500 cubes. Sebastian is a salseman. The other folks were pretty helpful, albeit a bit disorganized. They were fairly professional, however there are some caveats you should be aware of. Things Sebastian said that were true — 1) they would pick up and pack without additional fees — did that pretty well, although a chest was damaged overall the stuff was in pretty good shape. 2) No surcharges for taxes/tolls etc…(outside what was included in the original quote) Things Sebastian promised that turned out to be false: 1) They would not subcontract to another company for the delivery(indeed goods were delivered by a company I never heard of) 2) The price offered at pick-up would be the price we paid when goods were delivered. Just before delivery, we were told the volume was 30% higher than what was measured at the time of pick-up. After some negotiation this was lessened, but not to the original quote. MAKESUREYOUGET A BINDINGESTIMATE! Goods were mixed in with other people’s goods and could not be measured on delivery. 3) Had frequent trucks(delivery took 45 days, which is a long time on an an air mattress). 4) Extra Stairs, or long-carry are not included in price quote and determined by delivery company. Overall, I gave them a 2 because the stuff did arrive and in pretty good shape, although it was really frustrating how long it took, and the run around with regards to the timing of delivery. I set my expectations pretty low, but was still frustrated by the delay and the lies. Finally, make sure you tag and inventory everything you ship! We would have been down several boxes without good records of what we shipped(numbered boxes ourselves and kept track) as the delivery company didn’t keep track well. On a side note, after telling rental truck companies(Penske specifically) that I had booked with movers, they dropped their original quote by about 70%(1100 from 2400). Worth negotiating that cost, if you want to drive your stuff across country.

Unfortunately, I was forced to deal with this moving company as the moving company I signed with(Neighbors Moving, also reviewed) contraccted to Simplicity due to proximity. We were told by dispatch at Simplicity Moving that they couldn’t make our original pick up date and would come on our back up date, Saturday June 30 between 9−11am. The movers didn’t show up until 7:30pm! Of course we tried calling our initial moving company but they couldn’t give us a location on the movers. They gave us Simplicity’s number and they were not in the office on Saturday. When the movers finally showed up, it was 3 random guys in a Budget truck, they were told they weren’t given a time frame when to show up. Also, they weren’t given the correct contract with the actual deposit we paid. We left many messages with Simplicity on their answering machine Saturday, and never received a call back. When I called later in the day on Monday, I was transferred to dispatch and of course no one answered, so I left a message. I am working with the BBB on this company as well. Terrible experience.
