Best Pizza in town. Just a block off the«center of town» on front street. Worth the walk over! Grandma’s pie is my favorite. It’s like a thin Sicilian but great olive oil and fresh mozzarella and a crispy thin crust. The owner John and Angela are always there working their butts off. They also have great entrées, tortellini, pork chops, shrimp, etc. A decent sized outdoor area and a great casual BYOB dining room all well!

$ 4 per slice? Plus unfriendly manager at the counter. Tastes like $ 1 a slice… compound her attitude and that should make it free. Local here but won’t return.

The epitome of Italian comfort food, coupled with fast and friendly delivery, makes this a favourite place to order takeout from when visiting friends in Red Bank. The standout menu item here has to be the lasagna. Creamy, cheesy, generously full of a fantastic bolognese sauce, and baked to perfection. The pieces are huge and more suited to what you’re going to be served at nonna’s instead of a restaurant. Not far behind the lasagna would have to be the penne alla vodka. If you’re unlucky enough to be sick, be sure to order the chicken tortellini soup for an Italian antibiotic, and if you have little ones they’ll love the kid’s chicken fingers. Maybe the most surprising find here was the chef’s salad, which is packed with enough meats and cheese to be considered an Italian hero but for the lack of bread. I don’t think you’ll find a single bad choice on the menu, whether you’re visiting New Corner in person or ordering via the Unilocal app. Buon appetito!

Here is an update on my review from 2014. New Corner still never stops producing delicious food. My favorite is still the salad pizza with fresh ingredients and jam packed with flavor. Angela and John experiment with different types of pizza and toppings every day. They recently did a huge catering job for Riverview and I was there to taste it. Everyone was raving how great it was. Thanks again for continuing to feed us warm, delicious comfort food!

Food is delicious. Wait staff are friendly and the owners make you feel like part of their family. Last Christmas Eve, I was in a bind for last minute catering, The owners graciously pulled together a Christmas Eve feast from appetizers to dessert without hesitation. The best in the area.

5 stars+++!!! As patrons of New Corner Restaurant for over 25 years, our family has consistently enjoyed many delicious dinners, pizzas, subs and sandwiches. The creative culinary talents of the owners and their kitchen staff result in mouth-watering cuisine characteristic of Italy’s regional specialities. The menu and weekend specials are cooked to order using the season’s finest, freshest ingredients offering diners extraordinary pastas, sauces, meat and seafood dishes. The pizza is perfection — crisp, crusty, tasty dough topped with a delicate balance of flavorful tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, herbs and a choice of many wonderful toppings. Fantastic subs and sandwiches, too. Dining in, taking out or delivery, we have always had exceptional, friendly service. Grazie mille, John and Angela

Love it! Pizza is great and so are the dinners. The owners are so nice and the wait staff is so friendly. Parking is tough, sharing a lot with the Globe but it is worth it.

We really enjoy dining in and out here. Their food is usually fresh and tasty. Our go-to menu items are Chicken Francese, Marg Pie, and Pasta Figoli. Most of the waiters are friendly. They are very expensive for a casual Italian establishment though even for take-out. Also, the parking is sparse.

AWFUL. Don’t even think about it. Waited forever for food. This place needs to get its act together. And some manners wouldn’t hurt either.

Decided to take a trip down memory lane and get some Sicilian pizza from New Corner. I remember back in the 90’s it was the best thing around, light airy crust, marinara and cheese to die for. Don’t know what happened but whatever they use for dough now is horrible! It’s dense and tasteless. I was trying to figure out if they were repurposing regular pizza dough or bread dough but it did not taste like any of those. It was inedible as-is and I had to slice it in half and discard the bottom portion of the crust. This is only the second bad experience I’ve had there, but both times were pretty bad. For a place that pretty much ruled Red Bank with their food, they can’t compare to what other business are doing now. Whatever they are changing they need to STOP and go back to their original recipes and food.

I Have been going here for about 15 years or more. Their secret weapon… Philly Cheese steaks. Not quite as good as Pat’s in Philly but damn good and you can save the 11⁄12 hour plus drive one way :) Certainly much better than that cheesesteak place that opened on Monmouth St if they are even still there. I lived on their The Chicken Parm dinners & sunbs for a few years when i lived nearby(Split them) Family owned & always a member there. I was surprised by the very negative review and bad experience someone had. They typically address almost every customer by first name when they come in as they have a very loyal local following But You can’t be perfect all the time Try giving them another shot They have not been there for 25 years or more by accident. Typically used to go for take out unless i’m walking about town then will grab a HOT fresh slice not something that looks like it was cooked 10 hours ago

I have been a long time customer of New Corner. We get pizza delivered by them once a week, and have always been happy with the quality of their food. My family and I decided to have dinner at the restaurant last week, and I was absolutely disgusted by the experience. Our waitress was completely ineffective and appeared to be overwhelmed by the very few diners eating inside the restaurant. The food was delivered at different times — my husband was done with his dinner by the time my daughter and I received our food. I was brought the wrong food. At this point, after waiting nearly an hour for eggplant and ½ a sub, I had reached my limit. I went up to the counter and asked to speak to a manager. The person I spoke to was incredibly rude, and essentially told me that there was nothing he could do — that he was short staffed and couldn’t get anybody to work. Completely unapologetic, and was a prime example of what customer service should NOT be. Honestly, if you treat your customers this way, I can certainly see why you can’t retain employees. Another employee from behind the counter came out and spoke with my husband, and comped us our dinner(note: I did not eat dinner, and was not interested in waiting however long it would have taken them to possibly get the right meal to me). My 1 star rating is not based upon their food; their food is generally 4 stars. I would give this place 0 stars based solely upon my experience with the«manager» and his terrible attitude towards the customers.

We ordered a few different subs, hot & cold… one was better than the next. The cheese steak with peppers and mushrooms is a must have. The wrap(build your own) is delish! The owner is so nice and always so pleasant. Looking forward to our next order!

My favorite dine in dine out pizza! The grandma pie is a huge hit in my household in fact it goes almost the second it touches the counter. I also am a huge fan of their Sicilian. Love the owner she is always there and never without a smile. Great food even the arugula white bean blue cheese salad. Yum!!! Bring a bottle of red and your family and its a great Friday night out.

I work at Riverview and we have all eaten there from time to time. But one day awhile back now my husband tells me about this Grandma pie and how good it is from there. OMG! Out of this world delicious. So I convinced my co-workers to try it. They used to get delivery from another pizzaria in Little Silver. I couldn’t figure out why they thought it was so special-dripping in oil. Now we only get pizza’s from New Corner. My co-worker’s rave about the Grandma pie. If you want it well done/crispy on the bottom just ask and they make sure it’s done right. My favorite is the Salad pizza. It’s so good with artichokes, garlic, fresh spinach, fresh mozzarella, I think a few other ingredients. It is so delicious!

I called at 6:30 — prime time, for a cheese steak pizza. After a brief hold the man on the phone was courteous and accommodating for my «delivery to my hotel» order. The pizza arrived well before the promised time, right to my room. It was not only one if the best cheese steak pizzas I’ve ever had but my special requests were honored perfectly. The delivery man was courteous and friendly. To me, this is as good as it gets.

Grabbed a quick bite with the family after a morning at the pool. Service was fast and courteous. A beautiful large plain arrived about 10 min after we ordered, kids loves it and everyone was happy :-). Can’t ask for more than that. Pizza was good, crust was solid but not too thick, lots of cheese and a good sauce. Well be back!

Visiting a friend’s church in the area, we decided to get dinner here afterwards because they’re the new«regulars» here. We got Calamari to start [[which was incredible, I could go for some right now]]. And then we got two pies — one was Margherita and the other was half arugula, half white. Everyone left with full stomachs and very satisfied. The young sunday night waiter was great. :) Outdoor seating was really neat, what a cute part of town its in! Great for people watching! and the bathrooms are clean [yay].

I was back in Red Bank this weekend, and got to grab dinner here with a friend who lives downtown. We sat outside so we could watch all the afternoon drunks trip over the sidewalk as they worked their way back to the cars. Must have been a pretty good«Beer and Wine» festival in the park because these people were in bad shape. Good entertainment all around! We ordered some garlic knots and a plain pie. The food came quick, hot and it was better than any RB pizza I have had. OK, first the knots. They were cooked just right… not the doughy kind, and not the burned ones either. These knots had an outside crunch, but soft inside. Juuuuusssttt right. It was a bonus that there must have been a dozen knots in there. The pizza was your typical NY style thin crust. Great slightly crunchy below, and the sauce was great! The cheese wasn’t covered in grease, which tells me they probably went the extra step to get the higher quality cheese. It paid off. Five(don’t judge me) slices later, we paid and were on our way. It is not often I get to have NY style pizza out here in the midwest. Next time I am in RB, this place is definitely on my list!
