Best salon around!!! The stylists are very knowledgable and are on top of the latest fashion. They make you look and feel your best. The salon itself is beautiful and probably the nicest one in Portage County. You may pay a little more than you would at a chain salon, but the old adage is true«you get what you pay for.» Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

While on the search for a permanent replacement stylist(I believe this is salon #6 I’ve tried) I have been contemplating this place for years & was excited when I saw this quote on their websites page«This is what many women dream of: long, thick healthy hair flowing down to their shoulders in gentle waves. Until now, only few women have had this dream come true because their own hair is only rarely capable of coping with the strains it is exposed to during all the years it needs to grow.» My hair has been falling out since I was 15. I was told this is just a stage & that I would out grow it but I’m now in my early 30’s & have yet to see a change. I am sick & tired of all the salons offering me very little for a lot of money or trying to duplicate one anthers past bob hair cut instead of giving me something new & creative. I can’t say that I was happy with the results, I talked to my stylist about all the ridiculous money I’ve spent on useless products, vitamins & cuts… she didn’t really tell me anything I didn’t already know. Nor offer me anything that hasn’t already been suggested. It’s not that she wasn’t nice or knowledgeable, the connection just wasn’t there. I had only scheduled a consultation but wound up with the same exact hair cut I had when I was seven :(And of course I hate it! The fact that my husband does as well & that not one person I work with even noticed bums me out. The cut looked okay, but the stylist didn’t tell me what or how she was going to cut my hair; she just asked about the length & did as she pleased. I hated it but gave her a chance to style it before I made a final judgement… it was doable until I got home. My hair went back to its annoying wavy & fried look it always has. In fact it looked like I just had a really hard day at work :( Again, this is not necessarily the stylist fault, but they do need to make sure they cut your hair a certain way when it’s wavy so that it doesn’t flip up & out– this is not the case with my experience. Due to my work schedule I can’t go in until Monday but I’m going to see what happens when I ask for it to be fixed.
