I paid $ 67 on Priceline so it was worth it for me. My room was clean enough, free breakfast, free wifi, and it was relatively quite. I saw another review that said the wifi didn’t work but I didn’t have any issues and had full bars.

I overpaid, don’t rent unless it’s $ 70 or less per night. I only gave an extra star because it didn’t leak with the rain the night I stayed. Free WiFi? Free because it doesn’t exist. There was no option to connect to a network so I proceeded to call the front desk. Front desk guy had no idea, no resolution. Bed was old as dirt, didn’t really want to sleep in it.

If I could shout this out, I would… NOSTARS!!! This was the worst hotel I have ever checked into. It was so bad, I actually paid, left, found another hotel and checked out(even though i had paid) again within four hours. The ODOR in my room was VILE!!! Even the non-smoking rooms smelled like old smoke, mold and dog and cat pee. It was HORRID!!! And I’m a smoker and have dogs! When I complained they showed me other rooms and it was the exact same. The hallways smelled like it too. They offered to «spray the room with some deodorizer», yah, that ain’t gonna fix it. The bed was a joke. Even the cheapest mattress on the market beat what I saw Flat, appeared to be old and squishy. Only around 3″ or so thick. The outside is in shambles, redecorating or not. The window air conditioning units had huge gaps around them and had signs to not turn above low or 4 or they will«freeze up». The tub drain plugged up and the sink was disgusting. Room key wouldn’t work in one of the doors, I told them, they didn’t care. Whoever gave those positive comments and said they loved the décor was full of it. The décor is horrid and the furniture in the rooms I was in was falling apart and in terrible shape. The carpet was disgusting and kind if damp. I would not have walked on it in my bare feet. BEWARE when making a reservation, they told me one rate, and then when I checked in had different rates. When I pointed this out, they said it didn’t matter, it averaged out to what they said. So when I checked out, I told them I wanted money refunded to reflect the agreed upon rate and they wouldn’t do it. I strongly suggest getting a tour of room before signing anything or letting them charge your card or paying. I would demand to see a price breakdown and don’t sign anything til you see both those thIngs. …and yes, I immediately called corporate.

5 stars for a 2 star hotel. Quick check-in. Easy access. Walking distance to restaurants. Pets allowed. Clean rooms with a contemporary effort. Great price. Just as advertised.

We stayed here after a wonderful day driving through the Badlands. The motel is off the road behind a few 24⁄7 fast food places and if you keep the window closed in your room you do not hear them, problem is I hate leaving windows closed. The rooms are large but painted the strangest shade of green and they have a DIY headboard with a palm poster stuck in the middle. Everything else is minimal. The breakfast was all packaged stuff and they had an instant coffee dispenser. Gag. You could not even fill a travel cup as it was made for the small Styrofoam cups. The staff was not very helpful when you asked questions like where can we eat at 8:00 pm. Oh, we finally got it, everything has closed for the summer and there is nothing but a Perkins nearby, or of course all the fast food places in a row.

The price for what you get was ridiculous – $ 220/night for 2 beds? C’mon! I suppose they raised their rates for the Sturgis motorcycle event going on, but it’s not fair to those of us who have nothing to do with bikers. The beds’ blankets and sheets were very thin – we were freezing all night. One of the three days of our stay here, the cleaning people didn’t clean our room. Said they«were confused» because we had a Do Not Disturb sign up. No, we did not have that sign out… it was IN our room. Also, the«cleaning» people don’t check or clean the rooms very well. Someone had left their computer battery on the bottom shelf of the nightstand, and it was there with us while we stayed. I bet the owner to that battery called asking Motel 8 if they’d found his battery. They probably told him the maids hadn’t found it. If she finds it after our stay, I bet they won’t call the battery’s owner back letting him know they had recovered it. This is just the impression I got from the employees.

The rate was the lowest average according to a certain travel site, everything is working, the room is very clean and it’s located right near many restaurants. The usual noises are present but not extraordinary.

We stayed here over Christmas ’09 and it was one of the worst motel experiences of my life. Ours, actually. I don’t need the fanciest things, but I expect a decent bed, comfortable temperature options, and no unnecessary noise in the middle of the night. One family member’s room had no heat while ours was overheated — in the middle of a blizzard I was desperate to find a way to open a window so I could cool the room down enough to sleep! In addition to the rowdy neighbors, there was actual CONSTRUCTION going on downstairs from 10pm to around 1am. Seriously? The beds were unbelievably uncomfortable, and I assumed that horrible greenish color that was on the walls HAD to be the former color but can see from the photos on the website that that was what they were going for. Painful, in a word, is what this stay was. My back was killing me for days after the stay from the awful bed and not being able to get a good night’s sleep. Like I said, I hope they finished«fixing it up». Uh, I think they had a decent Continental Breakfast?

This place is pretty cool! It has new furnishings which include lime green lamps, a teal wall, teal and brown bedspreads, and a large dark brown headboard with a cool plant picture in it. I love the décor! The room is clean and the service is good. The price was reasonable, too!
