I can’t explain how much I like this movie theater. It’s small and antiquated, but there’s something romantic about that. It makes me giddy every time. It’s almost like being a part of something special.

My daughter and I saw a movie and the prices are great! She purchased a snack pack that was popcorn, candy and a small drink for $ 3. The temperature was great not freezing cold like others in town. The staff was friendly and gave me a card for stamps once it is full it is a free movie. We will deify go back and probably more often!

This place is SO much fun! It’s in an historic building in the middle of downtown — and they show the only remotely independent movies I know of in Western South Dakota.
Check their website — they have all kinds of specials, but my favorite is bring-​your-​own-​bucket night, where you bring the receptacle of your choice, and they fill it with popcorn — for free!
We only get back to Rapid occasionally these days — but a trip to Elks Theatre is our favorite way to reminisce. A movie here, followed (or preceded) by tea at Bully Blends is about the coolest thing to do in Rapid City.
