Best pizza in town. Prices are average. Chicken parmigiana is excellent. This place is clean and service is fast and friendly.

While they may not be the sort of place that Forte right down the road is, I will never get food in Forte again after issues with consistency and quality. Final straw at Forte was getting sick one night from one of their dinners. I haven’t been back since, and buy all my pizzas/sandwiches from Scalici’s. Forte is busy trying to sell an experience to the people in Randolph who think it is the place to go for dinner. It’s overpriced and staffs a bunch of incompetent kids behind the counter who do not care one bit about service. No thanks. If you want great pizza and quality food, Scalici’s is the best in the area, and that’s no small feat with the number of pizzeria/Italian eateries around here. It looks like any old pizza joint when you first go in. It’s not large in size, but since I get everything to go, my main concern is the food. I have never been disappointed with any item I’ve ordered on their menu. The pizza is reasonably priced, and is consistent. The sauce is fantastic, and for me sauce makes or breaks the pizza. Their sandwiches are top notch, I highly recommend the chicken parm sandwich. Don’t miss a chance to try their pizza or specialty pies.

Anytime I can get within 50 miles of NYC, I know I am going to begin to get some really good pizza without even having to try finding it. You can’t swing a dead cat without hitting a decent slice in Northern Jersey. On the day after Thanksgiving who can stand to look at turkey? So, I chose pizza which is something I can look at, eat and enjoy everyday. Scalici’s is a small, typical Jersey pizza joint in a small strip mall. It’s not the oldest establishment steeped in the history of multiple generations claiming fame to making pizza at this place. It is, however, making excellent pizza. Like any pizza place, the first site one sees is the selection of fresh pies on display. This was just what I wanted. I took a moment, asked the very nice gentleman(owner?) behind the counter about some of the slices and I went with a fried eggplant, ricotta and red sauce slice along with the classic cheese slice. I paid, sat down and waited. Within a few minutes, the owner came to table with the two fresh hot slices on a dish with a fork and knife. This is atypical but, in some ways it’s a nice touch. I tried the plain(cheese) slice first. I could pick it up, feel that it had a nice firm crust with a slight droop at the end and it folded well. First bite and I knew it was immediately good. A crust with proper crispness, texture, flavor and topped with a tasty sauce and cheese which had melted into a stringy stretchy and flavorful treat. This tasted like childhood! The second slice with the fried eggplant and ricotta also had a wonderful crust which was only slightly thicker and firmer than the plain slice. The first through last bites were full of tasty fried eggplant(not greasy at all), generous amounts of ricotta all interspersed with a nice pizza sauce. Amazingly, this slice was well constructed, all the ingredients were nicely dispersed, balanced and made for a very enjoyable eating experience. Money can’t buy you happiness but, it did buy some great pizza !

Really good pizza. Got chicken caesar, eggplant, and pepperoni slices. All were very good, but the eggplant was outstanding(i was surprised because i’m usually not a big fan of eggplant, but this had the perfect ratio of eggplant to ricotta to delicious tomato sauce). On top of this, the service was great. The person working behind the counter was very friendly, and was clearly doing everything he could to make our experience a pleasant oen. Will be coming back, can’t wait to try their other food.

Stopped in a non descript pizza place. Only to be pleasantly surprised by a beautiful real plate with a huge pizza slice. Served with a fork and knife. It was the most pleasant pizza experience ever. And the pizza… delicious. We will drive out of our way to eat here again. Was so good I’m writing this while eating. Had to write the review. They deserved it. Love it.

There are so many pizza places in the area, but Scalici’s is by far the best! The ingredients are always fresh and the crust is just right. They don’t deliver, but it’s worth the drive to pick up!

This is the best pizza in Randolph. 18 years in town I’ve tried them old. Crust thinner lots of good sauce cheese. Great sausage and onions, pepperoni, Chicken Caesar pizza are our regular orders. I’d rather here to pick up order in the freezing weather than to get crappy piz

Really delicious pizza! Always get the garlic knots as well! Food is excellent for take out or when you eat in. The owner is always appreciative of the business and will always thank you for coming! My family and myself will continue to order from this location!

tasteless !!! And the service was slow and the older guy was arrogant. Nothing like spending money and getting rude service. We order a whole pie and it came out quickly which was a bad sign. It taste like it was reheated. Save yourself the trip.

Have ordered a plain pie and half veggie half plain pie in the past 6 months. plain pizza isn’t spectacular and the veggie pizza wasn’t good. I wish I saved those calories for sushi or just chose to make myself something at home. the ½ veggie was super soggy I had to put my slice in the oven before I could eat it

I decided to grab a pizza and some wings for the Giants game today. Big mistake. I asked for mushrooms on my pizza and got chewy, slimey CANNED mushrooms. Ew. The wings were okay, assuming you don’t mind NO sauce on your«hot» wings. They just tasted like fried chicken. Not what I had in mind when I ordered buffalo wings. The bleu cheese they gave me tasted like straight mayonnaise. It was truly disgusting. All of this for an amazingly overpriced $ 22.(Large pizza and 10 wings) Save yourself the headache and go to Joe’s in Kenvil.

I lived in Randolph for a few years and Scalici’s was my go-to pizza place! The slices are huge, ingrediants super fresh, and I love that it’s a family run establsihment. The owner is always there and very friendly. Their chicken cheesesteak is also delicious and huge! Prices are reasonable and the quality is consistant. The only reason that I didn’t give 5 stars is because I wish they delivered. However, the location is convenient. I now live in Bergen County, so I don’t get Scalici’s as often as I would like, but anytime I’m visiting friends in the area and in the mood for pizza, this is definitely the place to go!
