If its not enough that this place is adorable with cute art displayed throughout, they also have a mean juevos rancheros. Warm and hearty– it hit the spot. I got mine with an egg over easy and christmas sauce (red & green chili) for a nice mellow warmth on those cold winter Taos mornings. The server wasnt able to tell me the secret recipe, but shared some basics on how to make chili sauce. this was one of my best meals in Taos. Legit art collection displayed and murals you can check out while dining here. The staff is warm and friendly, a true pleasure to dine here. If i were a local, this would be my spot!

We sat outside in the shade. The service wasn’t the best but the food was delicious! I can’t remember what exactly I got to eat but I do remember sopapilla with honey and I’ve been craving it ever since

Bay Area
I was stuck in New Mexico for 3 weeks and this place was by far the best New Mexican food I’ve had. Their chile rellenos is amazing! It has a good crispy outside and it’s so cheesy on the inside and it was perfect with the red chili. Sopaipillas are delicious too and it goes so well with the honey.
The restaurant is quite cute in the inside and the murals give it a nice vibe. Employees are nice and helpful.

Maybe its the location. Maybe its the church. Maybe its the plaza. Maybe its the history. Maybe its the staff. This place is my new favorite restaurant ever. I count this as one of the top 3 places I have ever eaten at my entire life. There is a bit of magic here that the food and the reviews simply do not cover. If you are on the fence, go here! I ordered the «Christmas tree» adovodada. We also shared chips and nachos. Everything here is fresh and delicious and homemade. Oh, and the sopapillas… wow. There is an aura about this placed that awakened my soul while I was here. Just go here, enjoy the vibe and the restaurant and locale. simply amazing words cannot describe

We have had great meals here and are extremely pleased with the New Mexco cuisine. The place has an old southwestern feel with multiple small rooms. The service is efficient and pleasant. But the food, oh my, the food is absolutely delicious. The flavors are perfected by tradition. Both the red and green sauces are packed with layers of flavor. The enchilada, tamal, chile relleno, guacamole, beans and rice and perfect (huge) sopapilla. This place is what I hope for in Taos and is a destination for me. One f my favorite restaurants, period.

Food was delicious! We went for dinner as we were staying down the road and the blue corn enchiladas with an egg on them. Am planning to stop by again before we return back to Illinois. Would recommend to anyone traveling through the area

This place is amazing. It’s great because it’s not close to the plaza at all, so you don’t have to worry about traffic. Plus there is a huge outdoor patio.
I ordered the carne adovado burrito with red chile. It is the best I’ve ever had in Taos. They put pork in both of their chiles, but they also offer a vegetarian green chile.
This is going to be my new go-​to for New Mexican cuisine.

The pork adovada is incredible. I make a point to get whenever I’m in town. Fresh sopapillas and honey with the meal. Very attentive staff. No liquor license (we brought a bottle, but were told they were too close to the church to serve it). Not a big deal for food this good.

Well not bad, typical New Mexico cuisine, beans not refried and NO salt on anything. In my opinion, seafood enchiladas need a light cream sauce, not green chili! Although not bad, probably won’t be back. Sopapilla’s good and huge!

Had the absolute best seafood enchiladas with vegetarian green chile sauce today that I have ever had. I just did not want the meal to end until I saw the gigantic sopapillas. Do not let the place fool you from the outside. Inside it is warm and comfortable and the service is great.
